I have been going to Walt's for years. Walt always do a good job and I feel like his prices are reasonable.

Purchased a Chevy Traverse last September very nice vehicle my son drove to Fort Worth last October and that vehicle is still going strong! Very satisfied with the purchase. Service is good as bad as any is in the shop they try to get you. Could use more help though. I know it's hard to find real good mechanics cause you're a Lotta gypsies out there that think they're mechanics in or not and if they're not stealing stuff faster than they can work, I pity the guy who owns the shop and all you can do is try and find the best qualified people and sometimes that's a big job in itself pretty good value for your money. Waltz usually write on the money with the problem and he does what he can to save you a dollar and I've always respected them for that. There's a lot of mechanics out there. Don't take your vehicle here. They blew up my motor then the auto mechanic had the balls to offer me $500 dollars for my truck after he seized my motor. Then they tried to make me pay for them to destroy my vehicle. Terrible service. Went downhill after Walt stepped down. read more

I can't believe I forgot to write about this place!! I own a 300c with a 5.7 hemi...my first experience with Walt was for brakes. We ended up talking and he makes you feel so at ease you almost forgot why you went there in the first place. Coincidentally, his prices are AMAZING!!! I was always skeptical of mechanics and when you go to a dealer forget about it but when he quoted me work to repair the seal on a rear differential I thought I heard him wrong.....and after the work was done I wanted to call the dealer and tell them to kick rocks for the obscenely high price they quoted me. I continue to have work done with Walt and his team and will do so as long as I am in this neck of the woods. Tried Walt's on a recommendation. Paid $200 labor to install rear pads, rotors, and calipers on son's car. I supplied the parts. Upon completion noticed that the emergency brake no longer functioned. The owner seemed disinterested and stated that they didn't work on the emergency brake. Didn't offer to look at it. I left extremely annoyed. Went back the following week to inquire again and he was downright rude. After calling out his lack of professionalism he acted a little more like someone who wanted repeat business. He told me I could drop it off the following week. Since I didn't feel like being further inconvenienced and didn't wish to endure more needless grief I chose not to go back. I will have someone else repair the emergency brake. Whatever happened to customer service and professionalism? read more

Had a couple vehicles serviced here with great results. Very reasonably priced and you can bring your own parts. You can't beat the price with the quality of work. Highly recommend especially if you don't know a mechanic you can trust. Walts always treated me right. read more

Ive been bringing my cars in to walts automotive for some time for alignments, ranging from trucks to sedans and sports cars. My recent visit really upset me, I took my toyota in for an alignment, I asked for my camber to also be adjusted which is adjustable on my car, car rolled out and they did not touch anything besides toe, and they charged me extra for the"camber adjustment" I took a look under the car on a lift 15 minutes after and it looks as if they did not even touch the camber bolts. They treated me like I didn't know anything about cars(Ive been working on cars my whole life, rebuilt many engines etc) I only go to shops for laser alignments. I used to recommend people to walts but I no longer will and I will be taking my business elsewhere. read more

Walt and his staff do outstanding work, and the few times I wasn't satisfied with something, he dealt with the problem for free. He earned my trust by finding the right fix for each car, from new cars to clunkers, and for giving me a good range of options. The prices are so low that I've taken to paying him a bit extra, just to say thank you. read more

PUT THIS MAN OUT OF BUSINESS. I sadly use to recommend walt's now I recommend the shop right next to his! I've gotten three alignments from his shop.The last one he did not align my back wheels even though he claimed to. I wore down my back tires inner tread in three months, but didn't complain since it was only 40 dollars. Actually I got it for 30 dollars Since he took my car around the block and I could hear him REDLINING my sports car all the way around the block + the car wasn't even properly warmed up! After confronting him he said he'd do it for 30 dollars didn't give me any paperwork or charge me tax. (didn't even argue he did not red line it because he knew he did his face said it all.) I didn't complain then but i should have, because I had to buy 2 back tires 3 months later, since i wore them down. Got a laser alignment and was told it looked like nobody touched the back end. That was last year. Needed a front alignment and foolishly asked him for one and he said he hasn't done $40 dollar alignments in YEARS. funny how i got one last year. BLATANTLY LIED. I sent him a screenshot of him running that special less than 9 months ago and he just kept giving me the thumbs up on facebook. He was very ignorant I couldn't believe the tone of this business owner. He also criticized my age & said hey aren't you going to be later for school. Yes later. If a man cant type properly he most likely cant work on your car properly! I would and WILL never bring another vehicle here ever again! there is another shop right next to him which is 10X better, friendly AND A LOT MORE HONEST! theyve done all my alignments with a laser and cheaper than his shop! I can honestly say this is the worst experience I have ever had with any mechanic shop in my life! I dropped my car off for a engine change on 6/6/16 they told me it would take about 3 days to do and It would cost $1,000. Ok here it is July 6th and my car still isn't ready and when I called to get an explanation as to why my car is not ready they told me it was because they are backed up from the holiday weekend that just passed. That makes absolutely no sense based on the fact that they got my car 3 weeks before the holiday weekend even started. Now for a thousand dollars I feel it should be done in the time frame that they gave me right? I'll let you guys be the judge of that! Overall I 100% regret this decision and I will never use their services again. read more

Went to this shop for an alignment and was helped by Walt the owner. It was about an hour before closing time and he seemed very short with me and had zero customer service abilities. They did my alignment and then gave the car back to me and told me to drive it and come back. I drove it and it still pulled to the right pretty hard and my steering wheel was not centered. I told them this and they decided not to charge me but didn't want to try again to get it right because it was time for them to go home. Today I took my car to firestone and they did the alignment in 20 minutes and got it perfect plus did a multi point inspection checking my brakes, wheel bearings, struts, tire pressure, tie rod ends, ball joints and tire wear. Last but not least I asked Walt if I could take a look under the car and he said "No, there is nothing to see". I will never go back to this shop nor recommend them based on their lack of customer service, Skill and professionalism. read more
