Here's an unusual comment for a karaoke bar (or maybe not) GREAT costumer service. So I originally did email the bar requesting songs, not really thinking I would ever get a response (let's be real, the latest updates on alotta business sites could be decades ago) but I said, why not!? Well I DID get a response which was awesome, however, at the time they were working on my requests....due to liscensing issues...makes sense. Anyways, just got another email from them saying they found my songs! Do you know how happy this makes me?!?!?! Best news I've gotten all year =p Thanks WALT'S INN! You guys are outstanding in service and entertainment. You've made my month spectacular and I can't wai tto visit again.

As with most dances, there are many variations... (according to wikipedia) The American Style Waltz- aka Drinking Budweiser The Mexican Waltz- Jose Cuervo The Country Western Waltz- Jack Daniels and The International Standard Waltz- Puking at the Bar All of these may occur at this fine establishment.- note. they may also occur while singing a bad (good?) rendition of Bad Romance. OH wait, one more waltz - "Hesitation Waltz" incorporated Hesitations and was danced to fast music. A Hesitation is basically a halt on the standing foot during the full waltz measure, with the moving foot suspended in the air or slowly dragged. - variations include 'faceplant" and "boy meets barstool"

Rare Daytime view of Walts...cuz you are usually there at night!!

The drinks are great and I love how they are served in red solo cups.

It's what you do1 and this led to me discovering just how much of a certifiable beer haven Max's is! For a Philly comparison I'd put Max's on the same caliber as Glory Beer Bar and Kitchen but with a beer bible on the same scale as Monk's. It's been a beer haven for going on four decades and it shows with their 100+ rotating taps, 1000+ bottles & cans, a 4 casks that feature plenty of local Baltimore brews alongside the finest from Belgium, Germany, and then some! They even have seasonal special events like a Sour Beer Fest in June, and a Rare & Obscure Beer Weekend in October. The bar interior was classic food, with a huge main bar that showcased the many brew and spirit options. The bartenders were also spot on with their service and spot on beer suggestions. For food being so close to the waterfront had me craving some seafood, and the rockfish sandwich delivered with its Chesapeake seasoning and remoulade dressing. Each day of the week has a beer special at Max's, and Thursday meant that I was enjoying a discount on full pint cask pours. I liked that Max's had transparent pricing available for 4 oz to large pours and growlers to go on their menu for each and every draft beer, and the 4 oz pours made it easier to enjoy the 11% abv barleywine beer from a Baltimore brewery that I was curious about without feeling some extra inebriated repercussions during my ghost tour. It was extra details like that which had me really enjoying Max's and dubbing it a must visit for any beer lover visiting Baltimore.

Also have a really good variety of NA beers amidst the hundreds of other amazing beers across the globe. Food wise, the chili is really delish as are the wings. Just a good spot to hang your hat for a bit and enjoy the vibes with a nice brew.
