It is about an hour drive from me, but I'm willing to take that DR. because my nails last for a month.. I will say the vibe has changed recently as the nail tech who used to do. My nails has moved and I had to try someone new this last time around and though I'm happy with how my nails turned out I'm not so happy with the service that I received this last time. He seemed as if he did not want to do my nails, and I originally asked for someone different who told me yes, but she was on the phone with her insurance company and kept telling me to hold on which I was understanding, but eventually when she came in, she took someone different who had came in like an hour after me. I have been getting a pedicure, which I decided to do first as I waited on her, but when she got done, she decided to take someone else instead of coming to me, which resulted in me having to have the tech who is doing my pedicure, do my nails as well and when the front desk receptionist asked him, would he be OK with doing my nails? He seemed upset about it, but said yes anyway so that was kind of off to me. They do also have a new front desk person who I think is actually a little nicer. The last thing that I noticed is last year when I got my nails done for my birthday I was able to use the birthday discount. That they have upfront, they asked me for my ID and to prove that it was my birthday and I was able to get the 20% off mind you that was not the actual day of my birthday. I think it was two days before last year I did the same thing this year and they told me no it had to be on my actual birthday so I found that to be kind of odd. Maybe they need to post the requirements on that as well because usually it would be the week or I don't know just seemed weird. Overall, though I would definitely continue to go to them.

She had told me that the prices were way CHEAPER compared to the resorts in the area and the quality was outstanding. I decided to book my mom a spa day for her birthday and I figured I would throw something in for myself. Seeing how I have never done anything like this before and the prices were so outstanding! I booked a manicure and pedicure, an eye brow and lip wax, and a 60 min Anti-Aging facial for my mom. For myself, I booked a 50 min back facial. Once we arrived I had a million questions about my skin. Amanda knew every single answer and more. Once I got back to the facial room there was very relaxing music playing and candles were lit. It was such a RELAXING atmosphere. I laid on the table and got a massage/back facial that after 25 minutes or so, I ended up falling asleep, because it was so RELAXING!!!! It was then my mothers turn. After 60 minutes she came out RAVING about how amazingly SMOOTH and SOFT her skin felt. My mom had always complained about how she was developing wrinkles around her eyes and on her forehead. They seemed to be diminished in just 60 minutes! My mother also got her eye and lip waxed and she said the wax she used didn't even feel like wax, and it didn't hurt at all. Needless to say, my mom and I ENJOYED our day at the spa. It took weeks to recover -- and that kind of traumatic, amateur-hour treatment is permanently burned into my memory. I get one day off a week. One chance to take care of myself. This appointment was scheduled between other things, so I could Accomplish what was needed in that one day. Instead, this salon wasted my time, and treated my appointment like it was completely disposable. Let's call this what it is: they prioritize walk-ins over scheduled appointments. They overbook, underdeliver, and don't care about the clients who keep their books full. There was no way my appointment was double-booked if it was made at the end of the previous business day. I guess she thought I wore it curly and didn't pay attention to gaps. I actually wear my hair straight. And been wearing the same cut for a while. The lady didn't even so much take her comb from the roots and do the 1 1&2 inch finger hold. More or less if she had just put a bowl on my head and cut straight around it. I'd probably came out with the same cut. Because I have a bowel cut. No layers, no tapering, no texte rising it. More or less I'd probably done better to get a $2 haircut.
