There is parallel parking on both sides of the street. If Zydeco's is busy there's additional parking to the West plus a parking lot. I love supporting small business owners who take such pride in their business. We were greeted by a very pleasant woman, and her adorable, tini poodle, Ivory, upon entering the store. She casually chatted with us as we shopped, made us feel very welcomed and was never overbearing. The store is very light, open and spacious. The front half has really sweet, affordable, home decor and a variety of jewelry. Women's clothing, shoes and dressing rooms are to the rear. She carries womens clothing from size small to plus sizes without the boutique prices. Take the time to try on clothing, if time permits, because she doesn't give refunds, only a store credit. Something More is well organized, nice groupings of home decor (mirrors, vases, candles, etc.), jewelry and cute clothing arranged by sizes. There's a furniture grouping (sofa, coffee table, etc.) as you enter but I didn't check to see if it was for sale or waiting husbands. I found some great gift items as I browsed the store and purchased a couple nice blouses. I look forward to visiting Something More when in Mooresville again. There's a new women's fashion consignment shop in Mooresville that is focusing on fashionable…read moreclothing that can be worn everyday. You won't find the dated stuff that a lot of shops carry. No prom dresses either. But if you want clothes that are in good condition and priced to sell, then stop on by. The place is so new that not all the improvements are in place. The walls are going to be repainted and the former business's carpet will be removed and replaced with wood flooring. It's a little spare in decor right now, but it should be looking good soon! And as my wife can attest, if you have good quality clothing that for some reason you aren't wearing, this is a spot to bring them to see if you can earn some cash back (or in my wife's case, in store credit towards purchases.) She's lost over 25 pounds and has been able to find several pieces to buy while having some of her items sell. It's a win-win! The location is northwest of the intersection of SR 144 and SR 67 (near the Squealer's). It has taken over the space of the Divine Consign that was there for a long time. I saw a Black Friday advertisement flyer in my Mooresville newspaper and decided to check them out again. I was looking for a couple of pairs of new gloves for one. I did manage to find a new pair of gloves to go with my new jacket I bought last month from the Indianapolis Speedway Museum. I purchased a pair of Ridgeline leather gloves that will become a pair of driving gloves for me and they were very reasonably priced. I didn't find the second pair but I think they will not appear until the Spring or Summer seasons. I did find a nice assortment of insulated gloves, socks, boots and other outdoor clothing. Unfortunately they did not have my size in the socks since my feet are a size smaller than the normal size of large. They also had an assortment of women's socks and knit hats for both genders. I like this store and need to remember to come back often.

I knew right away that I could get the same tiny pine pellets at Tractor Supply, MUCH cheaper. Tractor Supply is listed as a pet friendly store, so I took my furry buddy, Clarabelle with me. She was happy to escort me back to livestock bedding and feed, where I found what I thought I was looking for. They have 40 pound bags of Pine pellets for $5.99. You will pay $10-$15 for a 20 pound bag of Feline Pine, depending where you buy it. So this is a great deal. However, at first, I couldn't see anything about what the pellets are made of. Being large, heavy bags, the way they were stacked high, I couldn't get a good look. So I asked an employee as he walked past me. He looked the bag over, said he wasn't sure and he'd go ask. As he came back thru, he told me he couldn't find anything on it, apologized, and kept on going. I did a quick search online and quickly realized it was indeed pine and exactly what I needed. I noticed the word "pine" across the top as I loaded the bag into my cart. The cashier was polite and offered my pup a treat, even tho my picky gal had no interest. Nice enough store and it really has a lot of stuff packed into the space. I would have appreciated more helpful, knowledgeable employees.

Mike Cento is a true craftsman. He took 2 pairs of shoes, resoled them, cleaned them up, polished…read morethem, etc., and now they are like new shoes. One of the pairs, my Footjoy Classics Spikeless, stopped being produced in 2009 so I wasn't sure how difficult of a project this might be for Mike. Turns out they look better than they did when they were new! More support, better constructed, and they look brand new. Mike took a pair of shoes that were literally falling apart and brought them back to life, even better than before. These Footjoys look better than anything Footjoy sells these days! Mike did such a great job that I dropped off another pair when I picked up my last 2 pair. And I have about 3 more pairs of shoes that are in need of being recrafted, Cento Shoes will be wear I am taking them. The price is right at Cento Shoes and they carry all the good and necessary shoe care products to keep your shoes in great shape and well nourished. Jennifer who works in the front of the house is just amazing and super kind. She got me taken care of in no time and while I was there picking up my shoes I got some new socks and shoe care accessories too. Cento Shoes has been around longer than I have been alive and Mike Cento has the same passion for shoes that I do. Footwear is really important to me.
