Once picked up I told them I dont care how much it costs I want everything fixed. Told them I cant start my bike. I need them to look at fuel pump and starter. I just ask for a phone call to let me know price before it was done. 1 week later my wife goes in to drop my brother off and they tell her its done. I let another week go by and still no phone call. So I call them. Charged me 462 bucks for a small line that is attached to the fuel pump that takes 10 min to do but apparently paid for prob 3-4 hours worth of labor. So now its a week later. Labor day and I want to ride. My back tire is bald. My fog light is out. My starter is still not working all the time. And my bike wont start.

And then that night for that one-night stand was so good you ended up going back the second day, but it wasn't at night. It was during the day, so it was a day-stand. Wow, this is how I feel about the motorcycle shop that I took my Harley to. There's something special about feeling the horsepower of that engine, rumbling and roaring in between your legs, especially when it's a cold, chilly day and that warmth from the engine heats your bottom side. But this isn't about the engine; this is about great customer service, reliability, and also the element of surprise. I've been riding my Harley vigorously for the last few days ever since I picked it up from High Strength V Twin, and I swear I know this bike inside and out and it knows me. Ever since I picked my bike up from the shop, it has driven better and smoother, and the transition from first, second, third, fourth, all the way up to the sixth gear is amazing. I think the craftsmanship, the art, the love, and the joy of the mechanic, Mike, and his partner inside that shop made my bike run better, smoother, harder, and faster. That's why I had to do a second review, so I hope you ride your bike into the shop to go ahead and get it fixed correctly, efficiently, accurately, and at an affordable price. The issues started immediately after the service, including a front-end wobble and when he took the bike home the back tire is lost air. This is a safety concern and all they want is money no responsibility for anything .

Absolutely no clue what they are talking about. Total lack of communication between people who work…read morethere. Called to make an appointment for an inspection, when I brought my bike in they told me they don't do inspections on that day. When I mentioned that I called ahead of time no one seemed to know what I was talking about. Eventually I got the inspection and got new tires put on. After I got the bike back, they told me I might notice a "slight wobble" in my front tire. However, I was informed that I could bring it back and they would fix it if the wobble if it did not go away. Well, it did not and I called them back and they told me to bring it in. Only once I did, they then decided to inform me that because I bought the tire it was my problem and I would need to pay them for a new tire, tube, and installation. Basically implying that the tire I bought was defective and this wouldn't have happened if I bought it through them. It turns out that what actually happened is that they did a horrible job balancing my tire and thought it would be "good enough". Luckily I have a friend that actually knows how work on bikes, unlike these guys, and he was able to fix it for me. Shown below is the tire after I had it fixed. I live in the Baltimore area, and went to Kissel whe i was looking for a replacement for my BMW…read moreF800R, which had been totaled in an accident. (i was uninjured fortunately). I had looked at several bikes at Bob's BMW in Jessup MD, but also wanted to look at a R1200RS, which Bob's did not have in their inventory. I had originally purchase the F800R from Bob's and really like their dealership, and felt that going to Kissel, another BMW dealership would probably be a similar experience. I had been corresponding with Haley about the bike, and determined a date to go visit for a test ride. Unfortunately, Haley wasn't there that day as she was getting married, but as i walked in and greeted Evan and explained who i was and why i was there, it was apparent that they were expecting me. Evan took me to the bike, which was in the service area of the building, getting a look over preparing the bike for the test ride. They let me swing a leg over and allowed me to look over the bike as they were preparing it. i noticed some very minor things, (clutch lever needed to be rotated up a little bit, clamp was a little loose) but overall the bike appeared clean, and in good condition for a 10 year old bike. The bike did have over 50k on the odometer, which was not an overall concern as i've heard very good things about the longevity of the 1200 boxer motor, and the tech also commented, "Mine has over 70K". I went and sat with Evan for a short period of time while they finished preparing the bike. He explained the test ride route, which was a short out and back on the main road, and i put on my gear and went for a ride. The bike in general seemed flawless, and i was very happy with the ride. When i got back, Evan said "so are you ready to buy it"? I said i think so, but had some other questions, most of which were prepared for me by the salesperson at Bob's. Evan answered what he could and also took me to the service area where i spoke with the service manager about what they did and didn't know about the bike's history, their inspection of the bike once they received it as a trade in, and what was done to it to prepare it for sale. It was a good conversation, however, i felt that the responses to some of hte questions were a little bit "guarded", perhaps because they didn't know, or maybe there was information they didn't want to provide. None the less, i purchased the bike and rode it home 150 miles, smile on my face the whole way. The primary reason i didn't give a higher number of stars, is i just felt like they just wanted to get me out of there. All of the processes went smoothly. Raelynn in the finance office was fantastic (i paid cash) so the paperwork was minimal. When i finally did get on the bike to leave, there was no fan fare for their new customer that just purchased a bike. No one saw me off and said "congratulations", took my picture for their web site or anything. I actually had to ask, "OK, am i good to go now"? Since then, i have learned that some of the maintenance questions i had been asking were related to a BMW issue with the driveshaft on the bike. They were answering my questions and telling me that the driveshaft would be replaced by BMW at 60k miles, but didn't let on to the reason why. I feel that this was kept from me in pursuit of the sale, rather than being transparent with the customer. I have no concerns about the bike or the drive shaft, however, i do feel that the way it was handled shed some light on the manner in which Kissel deals with their customers. I love the bike and am very happy with it.
