As my husband is in the military and we relocate a lot, we've been members of over a dozen gyms. We've NEVER seen a gym that cares so little about its members. Even the smallest mom-and-pop gyms repair their equipment in a timely manner. The leg press and cable station pictured have been out of order for three months now. Since then, three other cable stations have gone out of order. WTF, Crunch? I guess you just don't give a flying fornication about your members. The only reason we still go to this gym is that it's convenient. BTW, EVERYONE complains about the busted equipment and the deplorable condition of the restrooms.

Teenagers (employees and guests) overran the place, pushing small children down, attempting to tear up the blow up slides, climbing onto the blow up dinosaurs to try to tear them down, bouncing small children off of the slide, and screaming profanity at any parent who asked them to stop sitting on the toddler gym blocking them from playing. There is no ice available for birthday parties, though they did drop stale popcorn in tiny paper bags and warm Capri Suns in our room, but the employee didn't say a word, or even smile, when she came in and I said thank you. The equipment is disgusting - no way it's cleaned daily, or even weekly. None of the bumper cars worked, the ball pit has no balls in it, the bounce houses have no lighting over them, making it so dark inside that children were banging into each other in the dark. "Children" larger than adults were freely playing on equipment clearly made for toddlers. Staff did nothing, despite our repeatedly complaining that the toddlers at our party were being hurt. The entire building seems old, dirty, and not at all taken care of. Would NEVER recommend this place to anyone, especially when paying so much for a birthday party. For a little more, Monkey Joe's would been light years better for our little ones, in safety, amenities for birthday parties, fun experiences, and cleanliness.

Also, it's clean and there is not staff to "monitor" your children, but I consider myself perfectly equipped to monitor my own children and do not require this service from a bouncy house business. We have received excellent instruction from the very beginning. My son has obtained his 4th degree black belt, and my daughter her 2nd. When my son went off to college he obtained permission to teach students of his own, and when the time came, two instructors travelled to his college (in state) to help him hold a testing. When my brother died, two of my instructors came to the funeral. At Macon Martial Arts, the instructors really care about you and want to help you take Taekwondo as far as you want to take it and are willing to work to get there. We have made life-long friends while learning Taekwondo.

Locations in Byron, Kathleen, Perry, Fort Valley and Bonaire. My girls did level 1 with Ms. Jenna and even with the classes being 30 mins long (which initially I thought wasn't long enough) it's just the right amount of time and the progress they make is amazing. Description of the classes is on the website. Classes are Monday thru Thursday and Friday is used as a make up day in case of bad weather and cancelation. Ms. Jenna and the instructors were amazing. So patient with the kids and super encouraging. They knew the kids by name. My girls were skipped to level 3. They were too excited and would be so proud of the progress they made each day. We took level 3 with Alyssa and her team were the same as Ms. Jenna's. The instructors keep the kids safe. There was like 4 instructors and one sits up top to monitor the kids. I never feared for my kids safety because they maintained structure throughout the lessons. At the end of each class the kids would do fun activities. For level 1 they would dive for rings. In level 3 they would do crazy jumps into the pool. I would highly recommend this for kids. If they ever create an adult only class I'd sign up. My kids are bummed that they have to wait until next summer for level 4 - they're looking forward to learning strokes. The classes are held in the pool of individual's homes. You get the address right before classes will begin. So seating may vary. I would recommend taking a lawn chair just in case. For swimwear - no goggles or nose plugs. My girls just wore their swimsuit and swim cap to help keep their hair dry.

My go to place is North Peach Park where I go most of my time to walk around to clear my head. It's a nice decent park to walk around if you don't mind kids/adults playing football in the field, pets running around. Best time to go is first thing in the morning when they open the gates or mid lunch time is best to beat the crowd. If you want to take your lunch/dinner maybe breakfast to an area away from busy places this park is nice with plenty of parking around the park and trash can bins to throw away your trash.
