The tailor was super nice, and worked with me to make sure the dress fit correctly. But, now the dress fits but there is a weird seam that wasn't there before and it causes the fabric to bunch. Not a huge deal, I can probably pin it to fix it, but I shouldn't have to alter something I paid to be altered. I end up having to make a few visits because the tailor is only in on Mondays and Thursdays, and I finally pick up the dress weeks later and take the dress out of the bag to find it has multiple stains on it. So now, I have to take it to be dry cleaned on top of having to alter it myself. I probably won't come back here again for tailoring unfortunately.

Remembering that Urban Valet provides cleaning services for the annual prom gown give away, we decided to try them out. The staff was very friendly and helpful as my wife explained exactly what was needed. In addition to the cleaning, her gown needed to be altered slightly. Staff explained the process and fully reviewed her requirements. The items were promised to be ready by the next Wednesday. On Wednesday we arrived and everything was ready as promised. Both gowns were beautifully prepared and well covered to ensure they could be easily transported. My daughter's gown had a jeweled waist which is not easy to clean but was perfect. I was more than pleasantly surprised when it came time to pay. For a wedding gown, an evening gown with alterations and a man's two piece suit with tie the cost was less than $100.00! I don't know about other locations but the Hamburg site has a very unique feature. In addition to walk in service they offer Drive Through service as well. I have never experienced such a service at a cleaners but intend to use it in the future. If you ever need cleaning and/or alteration services for everyday or unique items, choosing Urban Valet is the right choice and they will not disappoint.

Dropped off 3 suits for dry cleaning on 12/31, was told they would be ready for pick up by 1/3. So…read morefar so good... On pick up, things quickly went south. Thank goodness I checked the items in store, as I noticed 2 of the 3 pants in my order were missing. I notified the receptionist at the time, and we managed to find one of the pants attached to someone else's name. I was told they would reach back out over the weekend if they found my pants, or at least to give me an update. On Monday (1/6), I still haven't received any updates, so I called in to check. The phone was picked up by the same woman who had received my suits initially. On asking for updates, she took immediate offended tone and said to call back at 1, when the new truck would drop off orders. I explained that my clothes weren't missing because of a delay, but because they may have been given to someone else, and was told "You've tried to ask the same thing 3 times, but in a different order, if you ask again, I will hang up." So in the hopes of getting more context, I began asking her for if she remembers anyone else when I dropped off the order, but before I could get two words out, she actually hung up on me... Overall, service quality is perhaps the worst I've ever seen and the dry cleaning itself (for the pieces I actually received back, anyways) was mediocre at best. I'm saddened as this store used to be run by a nice couple which provided great service, but had recently retired. The store as it currently is being run is not even a shell of its former self and should be avoided at all costs.

(This did not even make sense). He said he cleaned it and then used a roller and he couldn't get it off. I told him that the first time he cleaned it he must have washed it with a white cotton item. Though a bit complicated to get started, Claire greeted me when I walked in, and walked me through purchasing credits, choosing the right machine, and hooking up to wifi so I could work. She greeted everyone as they entered and checked on people while she cleaned the machines. A fantastic gal. This was the nicest and cleanest laundromat I've ever been in with clean, comfortable seating and lots of folding tables.
