Dropped off 3 suits for dry cleaning on 12/31, was told they would be ready for pick up by 1/3. So far so good... On pick up, things quickly went south. Thank goodness I checked the items in store, as I noticed 2 of the 3 pants in my order were missing. I notified the receptionist at the time, and we managed to find one of the pants attached to someone else's name. I was told they would reach back out over the weekend if they found my pants, or at least to give me an update. On Monday (1/6), I still haven't received any updates, so I called in to check. The phone was picked up by the same woman who had received my suits initially. On asking for updates, she took immediate offended tone and said to call back at 1, when the new truck would drop off orders. I explained that my clothes weren't missing because of a delay, but because they may have been given to someone else, and was told "You've tried to ask the same thing 3 times, but in a different order, if you ask again, I will hang up." So in the hopes of getting more context, I began asking her for if she remembers anyone else when I dropped off the order, but before I could get two words out, she actually hung up on me... Overall, service quality is perhaps the worst I've ever seen and the dry cleaning itself (for the pieces I actually received back, anyways) was mediocre at best. I'm saddened as this store used to be run by a nice couple which provided great service, but had recently retired. Short story is go somewhere else. Long story is I went there to get my wedding suit dry cleaned. A few days later I went to pick up and they didn't know where my suit was and didn't even have me in the system (even if though I had my receipt from the system with all my info on it). I ended up spotting my suit just laying on a shelf, but they didn't dry clean it. So I had wait and I go to pickup the day before the wedding and the delivery guy wasn't there yet...so I had to go back a third time an hour later that day and finally got it. Long story short, way too much disorganization and stress for a simple dry cleaning, and I was still charged full price. read more

If I could give no stars I would. I sought a place to get my daughter's wedding dress steamed/pressed before her special day. I got on the internet searching and I found Jefferson Dry cleaning. It had good ratings and good reviews. So I thought I would bring her dress here and mine as well. I brought the wedding dress and my mother of the bride dress. When I got there the woman working got everything set up (tags on the garment bags and that we wanted the dresses in the original garment bags we brought them in. When I went to pick the wedding dress and my dress up they were not in the garment bags. They were in a cheap plastic covering for garments. I asked the guy at the counter about it and he said he didn't know where they were. His name was Damian and he was extremely rude and unprofessional. I got home and took the wedding dress out of the plastic covering. I was appalled!!! The wedding dress looked worse than when I brought it. Then, I was looking at it and there was hair, black fuzzies, and dark marks on my daughter's Wedding dress!!! I called the owner and he stated that he knew about the incident with the wedding dress. I was continuing to tell him when he just cut me off and said How about I just give you your money back. He acted like he didn't want to be bothered. I came here a few weeks ago because my husband's peacoat was looking rough. In severe need of a dry clean, I found this place on Jefferson near the train tracks by RIT. When I walked in, I was immediately taken care of. The price was reasonable, I think $15 for the coat. I was handed a ticket and told to come back in a few days. Upon arrival, it took little to no time to locate the item, and it was in great condition. I try to not buy a lot of items that require dry cleaning but will definitely come back here in the future. read more

My former dry cleaner closed during Covid, and I've been slacking to find a new one. They were prompt and everything came out well, but they said they weren't able to clean one of my dresses because it was black and white? That seems absurd to me and otherwise I can't wear the dress. read more

I know it seems absolutely nuts to review a dry cleaning agency, but I've gotta give credit where credit is due - Jefferson Dry Cleaning & Tailoring is simply awesome. I've been going here for over 10 years now, and every time I've gone they've done a spectacular job of washing and dry cleaning everything from dress pants, dress shirts, and suits, to formal jackets, shorts, ties, and scarves. Everything comes out wonderfully pressed and wrinkle-free and for pretty reasonable prices as well! I even just picked up something like 5 dress shirts and a pair of slacks today, and it was only ~$15.00 or so. And not only are they good at dry cleaning, but they're also spectacular at clothing adjustments and fixing missing pieces of clothing too! Whether you need an alteration or a hemming on your pant waist or pant length, they will work with you and measure you and find out exactly the right "fit" for you. And let me tell you - it's way cheaper than getting a clothing store to do it and just as good! Don't rap it until you've tried it!! I'm sure I'll continue to come here for years to come, so here's hoping they stay in business for another 10 years (and many more!) P.S.
