With a toddler, the studio setting would be better than being outdoors. She's also priced reasonably for what she offers. Here some reasons why I am knocking off one star and also if it helps others. The pros first: Pros: - She has a wardrobe you can select different style of dresses from. You can even go before your maternity session to try them on. - Good selection of dresses - Super friendly - When it comes to booking and locking in your date, she's very prompt at responding. - Priced well for services Cons: In the past I've worked with photographers (maternity and not) and I'm used to organized plans. Such as sending questionnaires ahead of time for looks/style/inspo boards of desired outcome. Annina doesn't offer that which I was a bit surprised about. Only found out about background colors day of shoot. Luckily, I came prepared with reference photos of poses I wanted since she asked during the photoshoot. The system of selecting photos was a bit difficult. It took us severe days to drill down 100 or so photos to 15. She takes about 14-20 business days after you select the photos to send you the edited photos. Ours came at exactly 20 business days after selection. There is an option to add comments on the photos you selected. Looks like these comments were ignored since the change wasn't done on the photo and I wasn't told why it wasn't. I had to text many times about the photo album we purchased. From the day I asked, it took ten days to get a final response on look of album. There was a lot of "I'll send something later today" but that turned into 5 days later, twice. I had to keep asking about it. May have gone longer. Production of album was 3 weeks. It's not sent to your house (other photographers I've bought albums from send it to you) I had my sister pick it up since her place is far from me. Also, by this time, it had been 9 weeks, more than 2 months since day of photoshoot. It was a long wait ... When I texted her I would come to pick up the album, she gave me times but when I told her I would go x day during the times she gave me, she responded later and gave me a new time window for pick up. It could have been that I was on my way with her original time and she wouldn't have been there. All in all, she does have good work and she is super friendly. But due to the long wait time to get photos, slower communication after photoshoot was complete, I'm not sure I was completely content with the work. That said, many people did love the photos. If you like to get your photos in a short amount of time, like organization, upfront communication, love mood board and options to talk about your vision beforehand, this might not be it.

My rate: 1) Personality- 5 stars. He was outgoing and friendly. Easy to talk to and avoid awkwardness 2) Photography - 3.5 he's been doing this for years per what he told me but it just didn't show. I expected to be guided and told how to pose from an expert so that our family pictures would come out nicely and not look disorganized. I had to pretty much just guess with my family and take the picture. And family members even made comments when we arrived to the hotel about how they felt we came out because he didn't tell us how to pose. For our private pictures on the strip those went a lot better, he did a great job of trying to take candid like pictures. Which is why I'm rating 3 stars because those honestly came out nice. Almost forgot!!!! I thought he'd take a picture of us with our rings but we had only our phone photos for that. I follow many photographers and many had the same must have bride pictures and I didn't get that :( Finished product: 3 stars. The edited photos as advertised are actually just black & white of the same pictures which I'm not even a fan of. I would've preferred them to give me other pictures than give me the same in black&white. There are some pictures that were edited like my dark elbow, they did go ahead and match it to skin tone. And one where a family member had her eyes closed so they edited her pic with eyes open. I went with rating 4 stars because I reached out to Caitlin because I expected a bit more pictures and I missed one of the locations due to us running late and the chapel also being super busy. It pushed us behind schedule and we had to shoot at only 1 location. Anywho, I reached out to her and she offered me a way to compensate for that. So that helped with rating extra. Would I recommend them to a friend? Most definitely but I'd tell them only if they are eloping privately. No family because my family pictures were just scrambled. I decided to upload 3 of my fave pictures (mind you I received first look, getting ready pics) and 1 of the family picture to give you an idea of what I meant by disorganized, clumpy look to it. Yes, we were a big family but as past experiences I've seen friends pictures and there family is bigger and their photos look amazing. I had some pinterest ideas for poses that he had no problem doing. Everything felt natural and not forced. My pictures came out a lot better than I expected and I received the final pictures within 5 days. The gallery was all high resolution and super simple to download photos, you can even download from your phone. I would definitely recommend, and will probably use them for engagement/wedding pics.
