I understand that Dorian Studio Las Vegas photographers take hundreds of pictures a day, but do they even look at the photos while they're taking them? My son's senior pictures taken June 2, are the worst I've ever seen of him with eyes half closed, not sitting straight, and another where he's looking off to the side like a 1970s photo. When I called to ask about a retake, the woman who answered was very abrupt and unhelpful, "Call back one month before our retake date." So my son, and I'm sure many other seniors, will have terrible pictures on their school IDs for the entire year. It's disappointing that neither the photographers nor the company seem concerned about taking quality photos. read more

My sons photos were never deliver to his school. They were reported missing not once but twice and it took over a month post reporting for them to start reprocessing. After reprocessing digital photos they said 14-21 days to process then shipping on top of that to the school and not to me. No agents had any info or advice just it happens you should have called sooner. read more

SCAM! We originally submitted $30 for 3 senior pictures. Price seemed reasonable since my sophomore paid $13 for her 8x10 printed PICTURE. Turns out the information for seniors was misleading, the price was for 3 poses only so the student could choose one for the yearbook, I now have to pay $65 for each picture printed!! So to obtain the 3 8x10 I have to pay $205. Outrageous! Now I understand why they make you pay cash. Everyone has the right to charge what they want, but as a business that caters to schools should communicate with transparency and clarity. I would not recommend these senior photos to anyone, they're certainly not worth the price. read more

It's sad that I can't buy my kids photos for school or sports because I know they will always turn out terrible. Soccer pictures on the basketball court in the gym, my sons eyes were closed in his football pictures, my daughters school pictures weren't even centered, one year she had a hair across her face and I had to get a refund, and the worst one of all....they lost my daughters first communion pictures. They were nowhere to be found and offered to redo them in their studio hahaha Yea let's just reinvent an 8 year olds first communion!!! This list goes on and on. BUYER BEWARE!! I finally received my child's football photos. They are terrible! After speaking to "Ashley" (more than once), she told me that the photos had passed their quality control and I could send them back for a refund. What I want is what paid for! They cut off my child's feet because they "had to crop out most of the background, and the only way to fit them in the photo was to crop out their feet." Perhaps the photographer should learn how to take a proper photo? The group photo was over exposed and a huge sun-glare through the top of the photo, which means the photographer didn't use the proper lighting. Never again! I am a photographer and I would not accept this picture when it was taken and yet they send me a form to purchase from them. Our school system needs to pick a new photography group. Senior year, picture day, one/two day notice from the school, second week of school , so not prepared. Elementary until now you pay ahead of time. I thought it was just me but it looks like from the reviews that it's the company. Dorian took my daughters high school soccer team pictures. She's a freshman so we were so excited to get her pictures. Disappointed is an understatement. My daughters school has an amazing artificial tuff field but for whatever reason the photographer decided to take the girls pictures on lumpy grass with the parking lot in the background. There was no attempt to crop more edit the background at all. I ordered a package with a plaque ... the plaque was in a plastic bag and the plaque looked sooo blurry. So blurry that I thought it had to be the plastic cause a professional would never dare to send a picture that blurry. Nope it wasn't the plastic. You also think they would package and give the pictures you spent so much money on in less then just a plastic bag. No cardboard backing in the bag nothing ... so of course all the corners of the pictures are bent. Although my daughter look amazing the lack of effort from this company is beyond me. I am now in search of a real photographer that will at least make an effort. read more

While my twins were getting their senior photos done, the photographers took great care making sure we had good photos. They answered all my questions and took their time- no rush. The only complaint I have is about my daughter's band photo. She said the photographers seemed rushed that time and I would have had it retaken, but she had to turn in her band uniform. The background is a sweep-style fabric, but it is incredibly WRINKLED. Maybe they should carry with them a hand-held steamer to fix the problem. read more

I would not recommend getting your pictures done here. I will strongly recommend going elsewhere for quality style pictures for the price they are charging as well. I did not like the pictures I ordered and when I tried to reach out to them regarding an accidental double charge, they were not much of an help. I was told it will take a month to even get the pictures and then afterwards I could send back the photo and wait even longer for the refund. Even though, they have a huge area on the site regarding what customers are saying, they clearly leave out what the majority of customers are also saying about the return policy or refunds. Agent is forever offline and they never respond back to emails. I had to call multiple times. Absolutely worse customer service ever. Thanks for making things externally hard to get decent graduation picture packages and returns. read more

It is completely unacceptable to not answer the phone EVER or return emails with picture problems. First, they posed my son and many other kids in a weird position that is making many of them want retakes. Next, I paid nearly $80 for pictures including premium touch ups and they didn't do ANYTHING to touch up a bit of acne my son had on picture day. I have tried at least a dozen times to reach them and never get a call back. I am about ready to do a chargeback on my credit card. Maybe that will make them take notice. read more

Ordered my son's Freshman school photos online. Had to pay the $35 for the minimal package. Finally received the pics a month later only to find 1/2 were of my son and the other four pics were of a girl from his school. I showed my son the pictures of the girl, he laughed because they had the wrong name printed on the photos as well!! When I emailed the company to send out more of the correct photos of my son, they requested that I send the incorrect pictures back to them and they'd get it fixed. Why would I pay to send four completely incorrect pictures back to them only to be thrown away?? This is a family owned company for decades....someone is rolling in their grave seeing how their company is going downhill fast! Sad. read more

My son had his retakes on 10/23 because he missed the original picture day due to illness. Being an absent minded first grader he forgot his envelope with the check in his backpack. They still took his picture, for the yearbook. I went to their website and saw I could order online, so I did. I called to verify that even though they weren't paid at the time the picture was taken, would we still get his order. If i could give less than 1 star i would. This year our school will not recieve there yearbooks. This company put childrens photos that requested not to be placed in the yearbook. So the entire school will not receive there keepsake. They are saying they will give refunds June 4, but that is not acceptable, They have messed up, who ever is at fault, it does not matter, to the children and parents. Look, we all know that this company is a complete sham and a ripoff. The problem here is not that we all 'want' to order pictures from them. The problem is that none of us have a choice because they managed to con millions of schools into using them for pictures. My guess is that they kick back money to the schools [which is fine - if they told us that], but do so underhandedly and this company is TERRIBLE. If you want to do something about this, don't complain on yelp. Call your principal and write a letter to the superintendent for the district your school is in and complain loudly. read more

My son had his Kindergarten graduation pictures done at Bonner Elementary and so I ordered the package and background I wanted from online before picture day. I was so excited to get his pictures back. Unfortunately, I viewed the sample online so I can order more and noticed they had the wrong background. I contacted DORIAN STUDIOS and they said I could pay to mail back the wrong pictures back and they would redo them with the correct background!! What kind of customer service is that???? IT WAS THEIR ERROR!! But I have to pay to return the photos?? And wait even longer for them to send me the correct ones?? Being class of 2020, worried about the world and what was happening during those times, i wasn't too worried about my senior year, looking back it's very upsetting not getting to have a normal graduation. The one thing that always lingered on my mind was never getting my Senior photos printed. I decided to call and see if there was any chance of getting my senior photos, luckily i got paired with Amy over the phone, she was able to look in photo archives and retrieve my senior photo!
