My husband told me he met with a lawyer for divorce last night. I have texts from Isaac today that show we've only had 4-5 sessions as a couple in the last year. The last one was over 6 months ago, and I've been asking for a couples session since Nov with no appointment priority to a couples session. I've been questioning using the same therapist from the beginning, because when I had just 2 individual therapy sessions with him he would validate me while telling me he needed to figure out why my husband couldn't do any of the tools provided. He even said he believed he could have autistic tendencies that might prevent him from ever being a support to me, which I never believed. But now I question his influence on my husband whose been seeing him for 6 months, not just 2 sessions. I didn't see the writing soon enough on the wall that Isaac could've been doing the exact thing with my husband, minimizing me and my capabilities, and this would destroy any success in our relationship. I started to bring this up to my husband last month, because Isaac is also seeing my son, I got very concerned at where therapy has been going for the both of them when my son renounced all relationship with me. I, on the other hand began seeing a different therapist, and specifically asked him to only work on me, so that I could be able to be strong in my heart only, without intimidation which I was using to protect my heart in our marital struggles. Great changes have been happening for me and my heart. My husband's recent text to me less than 2 weeks ago said, "Your heart shines through. I can feel it." My daughter has been saying the same. In Isaac's texts this morning, he said that it's because I'm better that he and my son are unable to cope. He called it an aversive reaction. There are so many things that make no sense. The biggest is that we were supposed to just work on ourselves only, then return to couples therapy to see if the changes would be enough to save the marriage. My husband will tell me how Isaac validates and agrees that I'm not a part of his healing. How is that working only on him, if he's talking about me/us? To make such a drastic decision with only 4-5 sessions together, after 20+ years of dysfunction seems unreasonable to me. And it's this reason that I'm still going to fight for my husband and family. If anything, shouldn't we have a therapist, at this point in the game, evaluate the success or inability to succeed now. It's possible it's too late, but I'm hoping, that my husband will realize we deserve to give us and our sweet little family our all.

Pelvic floor PT involves everything from the diaphragm to the pelvic floor - it's so much more (and so much better!) than you think! My therapist, Kimball, is so kind and incredibly knowledgeable. He treats me with respect and explains everything to my satisfaction. He did a thorough assessment and created a personalized therapy plan for me. I always feel comfortable and safe with him. The PTAs, Lexi and Julie, are AMAZING. These women really know their stuff. They are both kind, respectful, knowledgeable, and intuitive. They give me the right exercises to strengthen the right muscles to help my pelvis, back, SI joints, etc. While I'm there, I have a private room and receive one on one attention. We do the stretches, exercises, and other therapeutic activities (e.g., massage, cupping) that I can't do at home. They follow my plan but make changes as needed depending on how I'm doing and feeling. The front desk staff and other assistants are also wonderful. They are always helpful and kind. The rooms are always clean and everything is tidy. They take good care of you here. I'm making excellent progress, so when my insurance ran out (I'm limited to 20 visits/plan year) I kept going. I'm paying out of pocket because it's helping so much. It's absolutely worth it. I have chronic, debilitating low back pain and I've had two ablations done. With this therapy, I function so much better with less pain. I don't plan to get another ablation done. Pelvic floor PT really works. Anyone whose had a baby, abdominal surgery, experiences incontinence, has a prolapse of any kind, etc. would benefit from this therapy. You have to do the work but it's totally worth it. FYZICAL has an app where they load all the exercises you need to do at home. They each have a video in case you forget how to do them. This is one of my favorite things. I'm motivated by streaks so it helps me do my exercises every day. You can also make appointments using the app. For pelvic floor PT, it's essential you see the right therapists. In my opinion, FYZICAL is the only place to go. The therapists and PTAs are incredibly knowledgeable and skilled, and highly trained in pelvic floor PT. They're the best! I would never go anywhere else.

Whether it's for me, my husband or one of our kids he always listens and gets to the point and takes care of us and never has any judgement! My 13 year old son was just diagnosed with type one diabetes, I felt really stupid even going in there to ask about it because it doesn't run on either side of our families and I felt like I was for sure overreacting but he calmly diagnosed him and gave us very clear instructions on what to do next THEN gave us his personal cell number in case I had questions and THEN he came to visit us at primary children's that night to make sure we were holding up. In October, I…read moretook my 3-year-old son there for a second opinion after he was diagnosed with croup at another urgent care. Instead of carefully evaluating him, the doctor dismissed any attempt to diagnose and immediately used terrifying language, telling us our "baby could crash" and urgently needed an ambulance to the ER. This was completely unnecessary and panic-inducing. When we got to the ER, the doctor told us it was just a mild case of croup. They gave him a steroid and sent us home--simple as that. But thanks to Reverse Health's scare tactics, we were left with a $1,000+ ER bill. To make matters worse, Reverse Health told me they would waive the visit fee, but they charged me anyway. When I received the bill, I tried to dispute it, but every time I called, I was transferred and promised a call back from someone in charge. That call never came. I had to keep following up, and to this day, no one has reached out. Even though my insurance covered most of it, the $25 I was left to pay feels like a bigger issue--if they can't honor their word on something that small, how can I trust them with anything more important? This place is disorganized and unprofessional. I wouldn't trust them with my family's care again. Go somewhere else.
