I have a tendency to gag, so I kept pushing her hand away to get some air and wipe my wet mouth. She said if I keep pushing her hand away she will end the cleaning. Then she tells me to raise my hand if a problem occurs afterwards. I never got my teeth polished she said the machine doesn't work. She did a beautiful job cleaning my teeth and gave me a generous goody bag. Overall, the Hygienist was friendly and was knowledgeable except for that one rude incident.

Asking dr warr to make sure my crown was on the whiter side, only to have him say it was a perfect match, and my family all asked why it was darker than the teeth on each side. Going in to have a filling, I was introduced to a new dentist in their office without even letting me know or asking if I was ok with someone other than dr warr. The number of texts and email reminders is pretty rude when I have asked them to not send reminders. The…read morecleaning itself was fairly uncomfortable and I repeatedly got water sprayed up my nose while lying flat, which made the appointment stressful. I was also asked multiple times for a driver's license and about where I parked, even after I explained that I can't drive and provided my passport as ID. It would be more inclusive to ask for "a form of ID" instead of assuming patients have a driver's license or drove to the appointment. As someone who is autistic and cannot drive, that felt extremely dismissive--especially after I had already explained it. The staff were otherwise kind, but I hope the office can improve these aspects for future patients.

The hygienists are always rushed. ALWAYS. I had several different hygienists too. I have been going there twice a year for several years. I always questioned myself WHY. It was usually not a good experience, but I figured...it's twice a year. I just put up with it. However, my opinion has now changed. I definitely won't be going back. The staff is unprofessional. Especially, the office manager. I expressed my concern about their 3% fee to use our health equity debit card for an upcoming procedure. If you don't pay via check or CASH, they charge a 3% fee. No other medical offices do this, in my experience. I use my health equity card for all of our medical expenses. When I told them I won't be coming back. The office manager was extremely rude. I just received a bill from my last appointment. I declined the option for a fluoride treatment. They charged me for it anyway. I declined it due to their added fees. I nave never paid out of pocket prior for the standard exam and x rays. They must be hurting for money. Real classy Genesis Dental! I will be fighting your bogus charge.
