Once they healed, I was excited to have the crowns placed on each implant. Unfortunately, COVID 19 arrived and I was heartbroken as week after week, my dental appointments were cancelled. I really wanted to get this work done before my scheduled visit to see my children and grandchildren in Utah in July. When it became apparent that Pennsylvania's virus cases were increasing and it might be months before their dental offices would be operating fully, my daughter who lives in Murray, UT suggested I call Dr. Gleave's office and I'm so glad she did! From my very first phone call to their office, I felt like welcomed and a part of their "dental family." Their prices were even lower than I was expecting! and knowing I would only be in Utah for 6 weeks, they were able to get me in right away to make the crown impressions, place the crowns and even gave a me a great price on a cleaning. Dr. Gleave and his staff were all so friendly and they worked hard to make my experience a good one. I highly recommend them and I have such a pretty smile now. I just can't stop smiling. The out-of-state place wouldn't do both a cleaning and a checkup at the same appointment. Plus, they tried to tell me I needed gum grafts. Southwest respects your time and your money. I show up and they get me in and out fast. They don't try to tell you you need services now when it's okay to wait.

Got a second opinion as our kids take good care of their dental hygiene. Only one kid, really needs fillings. Had Holt Dental do the work and they over charged by three hundred dollars. After I got the insurance payment information, I called their office and was told they charge separately if you want to be numb for any dental work. I hated to tell their office help, when you contract with an insurance company you don't get to bill or charge for such nonsense. Lidocaine is part of the services of dental work (at least in decent and honest offices it is). After some resistance, they did agree to refund the over charged amount, but I was warned next time they will charge for the Lidocaine. This is pathetic, please don't go to this office, they are happy to diagnose issues that aren't honest and their business practices are the exact definition of fraud.

It was a filling that wasn't due for replacement yet. Amy, the awful billing lady yelled and argued with me over the phone that it's not their job to check if the tooth had been worked on in the past by another office. These people are lazy as sh*t and will NOT check any sort of tooth history just to trap you into paying their blown up fees. Watchout, this is a strategy of theirs! All other offices I've been to will not hesitate to call your insurance to gather pertinent information about the tooth that needs work. The filling, by the way, was no good. As you can see from the other reviewers, Dan Mirci absolutely sucks at performing fillings. Save yourself the headache and avoid this office and the awful billing lady! The rest of the ladies there were nice but Amy the biller is a total b*tch. I needed to see a dentist right away, and Merci Dental absolutely came through for me. They were able to get me in the same day. I let them know I was flexible and would take whatever opening they had, and I was so grateful they squeezed me in. The dentist quickly evaluated me and said I needed a root canal. Because of the complexity, they felt it would be best for me to see an endodontist. What impressed me was how the Merci Dental team handled it -- they didn't just send me away with a referral. The dentist had the front desk call three highly recommended endodontists immediately to see who could take me. Within minutes, they had me set up with an appointment, and I was able to drive straight over and be seen that same day. The next day, I came back to Merci Dental to be fitted for a crown, and two weeks later I now have my permanent crown in place. Everything feels great and the quality of work has been excellent. The entire staff was kind, thoughtful, and genuinely cared about my well-being. Since everything was happening quickly, they made sure to explain each step clearly and confirm that I understood what was being done. The front desk deserves special thanks -- they moved fast, coordinated seamlessly, and kept billing accurate in real time even as the treatment plan changed. That kind of attention to detail made a stressful experience so much easier. I spend a lot of time in Salt Lake City, and Merci Dental is now my go-to dentist. And now, having been there a few different times, I have had nothing but very positive experiences. Walking in, you are greeted by Kenzie at the front desk, she is so friendly and inviting that you almost forget that you are at the dentist. The office itself is very clean, and pleasant, creating a very nice waiting atmosphere. Dr. Hardin and the hygienists do a great job at making you feel taken care of and like they have your best interest at heart. And they are very transparent with cost and all of your options. I definitely would recommend!
