He came to my home within two days to do a detailed estimate. We carefully explored several options. He emailed his estimate to me three days later. I noticed that it was a professional estimate complete with drawings, written warranty, DOPL license number, and costs to install the mitigation system. I did my due diligence by checking with DOPL, BBB, and the State of Utah consumer protection agency. Roger and his company have a spotless record with no complaints. I set the date to install. Roger arrived on time and finished the project that day on time. He worked like a very knowledgeable pro in the basement, garage, attic and up on the roof. He cleaned up all of his work areas. Roger gave me a free Radon test kit which I mailed off a few days after the work was completed. The test came back with a Radon level of 1.1, the best you can get. Now, my wife and I feel a lot safer occupying our basement area. I could not be more pleased with the whole process. My best advice for anyone is to skip the two big companies in Utah who cannot come to your home for 50-60 days after you call them. One big company makes estimates over the phone with a somewhat pushy style. I hope Roger puts his company sign up in my yard to advertise his great work.

I texted a couple of pictures over to John at hometek and he immediately identified my system and said he could fix it quickly. He came out and took care of the issue by completely upgrading the system and charged the same amount that the other company wanted for the work. John then told me that he'd work to get me a full refund for what I had already paid if I wanted. I was shocked at how good the customer service was and would recommend Hometek to anyone needed a radon mitigation system. John is honest, reasonably priced, and just a nice guy. Use this company before you go for the one that has more ads, there's a reason they have to pay for so much advertising.
