If you are going to come & do laundry every week - ok. The owners will sell you a card to put money on. Don't be fooled by the term "deposit" it is not refundable. If you are passing through, it's an added cost. The place is average - nothing special & the counter woman does stop flirting to answer questions. Stopped in on vacation. Dropped off two bags of clothes before going to Sandia Mountain and picked them up on our return. They raised prices for the second time this year. The cheapest machine is now $3.50 for a 25 minute wash and $.25 cents will get you a 8 minute dry. That will really hurt the working class family that depend on this business to wash their clothes. The only reason I'm not giving them 1 star is because this place is very clean compared to my apartment laundromat, but now that they raised prices, I might have to use my apartments more. read more

You might not have a folding table as the regulars tend to stake their claims to those. They come in pairs or groups so all the baskets and tables are usually taken. I had to stuff my clean dry laundry into a bag and stand at the service counter to fold so they weren't wrinkled by the time I got home. The attendant was super nice and helped me load my card with sufficient funds to wash and dry. The card cost is .50. A double washer was $4 and drying was $1.50 for 30 min. First time we met the owner and was impressed with his concern for a higher service for customers. This time around, they have this wonderful new automated card machine for our convenience...no more struggling to come up with enough quarters. Best new remodel, lots of load options. Away with the concert posters and international phone card ads plastered on the windows. Clean, about $1 a load. Plenty of rolling baskets and seating. Also they have laundry service if you don't like doing your own laundry or don't have time. Plus they have an actual functioning pay phone right outside if your one of the few that still use one. This is the BEST laundromat I've ever experienced. No quarters, easy to obtain card (no fee). While I was there, they even washed the sidewalk. If I only had the choice of one word to describe it, it would be "Clean". The 2 women that work there posed for the photo. Used to be, laundromats were as inviting as old, decrepit bus depots in the middle of nowhere. Not this one: clean, easy to use, not a machine out of service, and even a clean restroom. This one is so popular it almost serves as a community center, a place where you see familiar faces, bring your kids to hang out with friends (all well-behaved from what I've seen), all while taking care of the mundane business of doing laundry. Machines are new and look well maintained. They have wash cards which make it easy to purchase soap and pay for the machines. Came here on a Saturday morning not too busy. Location is easy access from a main street and good parking for our 25' RV. The entire facility was re-outfitted about three (3) months ago with three sizes of front-loading washers and standard laundromat dryers. I paid $2/standard size wash; I paid a TOTAL of $1.25 to dry three loads of laundry! I completed wash, dry, hang & fold in less than 1.5 hours! The facility was immaculate although the attendance did not speak any English. Very clean. We had never seen a laundromat with two attendants before, and both of them were actively cleaning the washing machines off with disinfectant. The dryers worked better than most usually do at laundromats, and it was fairly cheap. We had to stop in during our vacation to New Mexico to wash our clothes, and this was a good choice. As for laundromats this one is okay. The staff that day was friendly. The washing machines are expensive (I guess I am used to the prices in Phoenix, AZ) and the driers take alot of money to get the clothes dry. There were too many broken machines but there are plenty if you go when it is not too busy. read more
