The woman said they were are washed and dried, but not yet folded. So, I gave them an extra day. The next day I went to my first job and then went to my second. I was thinking it would give them time. I could save them a trip for delivery and just pick them up. I decided to go during my break. To my surprise, the clothes were folded very poorly, socks and underwear were just thrown in a bag, some folded, some not. I will NEVER drop my laundry with this place again. The clothes that were folded, nothing was folded evenly. Dress shirts were sloppily folded as were most of the pants. Definitely a large waste of money on that one. I will continue to use my old laundry mat.

I've actually been unable to get the smell OUT of some clothes so I stopped going there, because it smells like old lady perfume or something and is strong. Once, I did my sheets there and had to re-do them all, because my bed smelled like a herd of old ladies or weird white ladies with bad taste from department stores were sleeping in it. I used to always go to the other one on Main Ave. -- which has a severe lack of washers because the staff uses them and does not care if there are none for customers and will let stuff sit in dryers for a considerable amount of time, even if people are waiting to use them. They suggested East Ave, and like I said, great facility, great people, but I don't understand the perfume smell. If it happened once, I'd not complain -- but it happened more than once, and I really don't like the time waste of doing laundry as it is, so having to do it twice is just painful to me. Maybe they'll look into it. I know I have a bit of a wolf nose, but it IS strong and my husband noticed it, too, since I never smell like old white lady.

I spent over 20 dollars to wash my clothes only to have my sheets be dried with gum. Their dryers have ruined my sheets. I go up to the counter to ask what they can do about it they said nothing. I even asked for at least a free wash since the gum came from their dryers, I was told nope. I bet you're wondering how do you know the gum wasn't from you? I'll tell you how I know I separated all of my sheets by sets and one set came out of the dryer with gum all over it. Everything else that I dried in the other dryers came out fine. I even had to stop another customer from putting her clothes on the dryer. I even had to go back up to the counter to ask the lady working to put a warning or an out of order sign on the dryer. (Dryer number 40 btw) I really shouldn't have had to do this. It should have been the first thing the woman working should have done the moment I told her. Don't waste your money here because they definitely don't care about the customers who spend their hard earned cash here. Also customer service are RUDE.

So this is my first time reviewing a laundromat…read more Okay, so I chose this laundromat because it was the closest one to my storage unit over on Captain Neville Road and it was time to take some of my stuff out of there. After coming here today, I just want to gather my thoughts because I do think there's plenty that needs to be said here that I don't think has been talked about. So upon entering, you're greeted by staff there. The guy who helped me was actually pretty helpful as this was my first time to this laundromat. In fact, I hadn't even been to a laundromat in over 10 years (maybe early 2010's was my last time going before today?), so it was definitely a learning experience anew. You are given a card that you pay $2 for, and then the rest you can use as a reloadable laundry card. You also get laundry detergent from this vending machine they have in there, and choosing a washer is easy as long as you know how big the load of laundry you're washing is. There's also drying you can use for free as long as you get a wash in. Guy walked me through it so that I could easily understand how to use these things. So before I say anything else, I do want to point out some things I think could be improved on. So I had noticed when I was there that there was a large swath of dryers that were out of order. Thankfully there were still enough that I could easily choose my dryer after my wash was done, but don't try to bring your extended family and your manager's manager here. The last four dryers were marked occupied which is something I don't remember ever seeing in a laundromat before. Even though you have the detergent machine working, other vending machines were out of service, and some things looked like they were taking up space inside the place. For an example I've seen myself, if you are going to have an ice cream vending machine in there, could you have that functioning so people who want that kind of ice cream can have it? Same with the arcade machines they had between the washers and dryers. I'm also going to mention that if you need to charge your cell phone, forget about doing it here because I couldn't find a place to have that done. Good thing I brought a power bank with me or I would have had my battery die right there and then. But that's not to say this place is bad. It's really not as bad as the 1-star reviews before my review say. It's a bit pricey, but it does get the job done, and, again, we have the free dry here. You get to keep the card given to you, so the initial $2 you have to pay for the card is a one-time payment if you're smart and keep good track of it. While charging your phone might be out of the question, you can still keep yourself occupied in other ways. There is a TV you can watch as you wait on your clothes. You also have a place to fold your clothes if you so wish to so, and if TV ain't your thing, you can actually go to the bookshelf in the corner and take a book to read. Another thing I like is that if you are wishing to get rid of some clothes but feel others could use your unwanted clothes, there is a clothing drop that is just outside the strip mall this is located on (I actually did this and will do it again as I clean out my storage unit). While I will probably not be a customer here for the long-term, I do appreciate having this here. Just fix the place a little so that it looks more presentable and you have a good laundromat.
