That's how I felt about Harbord Coinwash after the disaster that was my old laundromat. It sounds like a basic concept, washers that work and wash your clothes, and dryers that actually dry your clothes, not to a ton of laundromat in Toronto sadly. They had a variety of different sized laundry machines and front loading machines. Not to mention that the price changes based on the level of soiling and heat of the water, which is much appreciated. A cold wash in a front loading machine? My wallet and Mother Earth thanks you. The dryers are some of the most reasonably priced dryers that actually work. In addition to effective washers and dryers, the owner clearly has put some love into the decor of the place, making me feel comfortable chilling out while waiting for my laundry to dry. This is as opposed to some of the much dirtier, never been cleaned before places around. While this place is a little further from me than many many other laundromat, I think the walk is worth it, not only am I satisfied with everything, I'd rather give my money to someone who appreciates their customers.

This happened with both a dryer and with a washing machine. Let's just say that I'm not particularly good at ironing along the pre-existing creases on my pants. I dropped off my clothes on a Tuesday and picked them up on Friday afternoon. The price came out to a little less than $50 for 4 items (a suit and tuxedo jacket and 2 dress pants). Exton did a great job. The clothes were well cleaned, smelled neutral, and the pants were pressed perfectly. I brought my clothes in their own suit storage bags and they were placed and returned in the same bags.

They cleaned my clothes perfectly at a much cheaper price than the hotel. They took special care for my shirt that had food stains and dirts from the night out before. They provided reliable same day service and I got on my flight safely that night. I hope everybody gets the same level of service I received. Customer parking is behind the store, enter from the driveway shared with 27 Rean Condo. Free pick-up and drop-off within the area, I haven't bothered to use this service since I live nearby already. Cons Traffic in this area can be busy. I don't believe they offer same day service, usually takes 3 to 4 days. Protip Bring in 5 items to get 15% off is a special he sometimes offers.

To be fair, these prices are in line with what other cleaners in the area offer, particularly the dry cleaner at the Loblaws across the street. Service-wise, the employees are very friendly and accomodating, but unfortunately my clothes were not ready on the date specified. I brought in my items on Friday and was told I could pick them up on Monday at 5. On Monday, only 3 of 5 items were ready, as a couple of the dresses "needed more time". I wasn't really impressed, but they were quite apologetic about the situation. The other two items arrived on Wednesday and they were able to deliver it to my condo in the area. I'm told they do pick-up and delivery for the neighbouring condos free of charge. (Sidenote: you feel a bit pretentious going to your doorman and asking if your dry cleaning has arrived.) The parking situation is a bit tricky. The front of the store faces the street (Sheppard), and there is *some* parking in the back (maybe 10 - 15 spots at most), but it's shared with all of the other businesses, as well as those visiting the senior's home who don't read instructions and are too lazy to park in the underground lot.

I decided to look for other options in the city I reside which normally is hopeless. I was so happy I stumbled across this place. Wish I had sooner. It's so clean and the washrooms are so clean and the machines are very nice and the prices were acceptable. The man working at this location is very nice and a hard worker he is continuously cleaning the whole time I was there along with all his other tasks. I wish I asked his name. However I did let him know how nice his place was. Thank you for keeping it a nice place to go. I have permanently changed where I will go to wash my items. The gentleman that was working here this evening was wiping down and cleaning things the entire time I was here. The place is absoutely spotless. All of the washers and dryers are clean and getting my laundry done was super fast. The gentleman was very friendly and was more than willing to help show me how to use everything.
