Three stars because the place is clean and the machines are reasonably priced. I had no issues with washing or drying, there are enough tables to fold and there is some seating outside where it's a little cooler. Where it goes wrong is that you must use a proprietary debit card to purchase washes and dries. This is fine but there are no refunds. I asked. For folks who are here repeatedly, this works okay. For someone like me who is never coming back to Westwood, it's a waste of money. So before I left, I handed my card (with $4.50 in value) to a nice woman who was doing her family's laundry with her very well behaved daughter. I drive 40 minutes to wash my clothes in this particular place. The machines are new and great! They accept cash and cards which is super convenient. Last Friday (06/07/24) around 6:30 pm I observed one of the young female workers with her husband and two children washing and folding clothes. I'm not sure if they washed their own clothes or customer's clothes, but it was not right. They let their children to take clean clothes from the dryers and place it in the carts. During the process kids dropped clean clothes on the floor frequently. They stepped inside the carts and on the folding tables with their outside shoes. Again I'm not sure if the worker was there during her work hours or not, but the laundromat looked dirty, with mess inside the machines and on the floor. Kids were on the loose! Running and climbing everywhere! I'm not against children in the laundromat, but everything has its own limit.

They totally rep the dopeness of this unassuming strip mall laundromat. My second visit one of the muñecas brought the cart out to my car to help get dog puke covered linens inside expeditiously and in a sanitary fashion all the while cooing at said puker (a deceptively ferocious appearing pit bull). I literally want to spend my entire summer here. Tranquil beautiful clean machines space and bathroom. This is a place I want to build community in bc if you love TLL, you GET IT! The custom benches outside are comfy and funky. While I prefer to basque there as I wash, there are tons of dining options (SOD Thai, Orangetown Diner etal) steps away. Then as I waited I enjoyed one of the best lattes I have had in a long time. The place is so welcoming and offers free WiFi if you need it. The owner was so wonderful and explained she accepts donations for the local animal shelter and even does some of their laundry for free! If you have some XL laundry you need done or just want to drop off I would absolutely recommend this place.
