I was actually told I could not use a couple of dryers because they ( the employee) needed them. I assumed as a paying customer the employees would not be calling "dibs" on the machines. Also it would have been nice to have been told that there would be no available dryers BEFORE I did the washing. I ended up going to another place just to dry the clothes. Please note this was not my first and only time here. I have used the place three previous times over a 6 week period figuring I just caught it at a bad time but it seems no matter what time you go it will not be a pleasant experience. I suggest you go elsewhere. Apparently once a machine breaks it stays broken.

It used to be a vibrant hub for the community, but now it's mostly empty. These changes have cut off many people from accessing an essential service. In addition, my son left his credit card in the pocket of his jeans. We were immediately notified of it and it was returned with the clothes. Would highly recommend. We were in a pinch-- on a road trip with 2 teenagers, an extra large load of laundry, and needed it done on a Sunday. We reached out to 3 companies, and Abby was the only one who was able to do it. The second company supposedly only did "doorman" buildings, and the third never responded. Abby filled the niche in the market, and we hope her business thrives. Use her!

I had a fair amount of shirts (13) and a suit so I was totally getting that they needed 5 days to turn it around, albeit I had much faster service in some other places I used to go in the city. Anyway the price was fine and I left them to their own devices. When I picked up the shirts they were fine until I noticed on several of my shirts they actually stapled the tags onto the actual shirt labels. Seriously I've never seen anything like this in any of the other dry cleaners I went to. I've seen them staple around the label or button holes on the tag itself but never on the actual label of the shirt. That's either some serious brain dead shit or some serious careless shit. God awful practice. Anyway I'm never coming back. I should have listened to my own gut and noticed why there wasn't much of a rack of dry cleaning in there. I guess the folks in the area know better than to read old questionable reviews and opt to do their cleaning elsewhere.
