We pulled off and tried to find the nearest auto place but thankfully got lost trying to find it and stumbled upon this Midas. Harry and his team lifted the car and when they checked the tires, found that one of them was severely deflated while the other three had almost two times the amount of air they were supposed to - so if we hit a pothole (it was a miracle that we didn't since we picked up the car in Brooklyn) the tires would have blown up and we would've been completely screwed. Not only did he rotate the tires and make sure we were safely on our way, he didn't charge us anything and wrote up something for us to give the rental car place to tell them to give us a discount, which they did. I can't thank Harry enough!

I…read morebooked a simple appointment for new tires, balance and alignment. took them 8 hours, they came out just before closing to tell me they don't have the cone to balance tires on a Toyota then billed me a higher rate than I got quoted on their website, and sent me home with a poorly balanced tire set that shook the steering wheel. My car is now undriveable. it's been a full week, I've called the store and corporate office a dozen times. They have not offered a solution or refund. what should've been a 1-2 hour tire change turned into me not being able to drive my vehicle for over a week. I have a case opened with corporate office, all they can do is tell me somebody will call me back. nobody does. Do not under any circumstance get any service from Pep Boys.

Just an all around awesome experience!!! Had made an appointment for a four wheel balance, and…read morealignment (post pothole season), and to prepare my Pilot for a drive to Savannah, GA. After drop off, I received a call from Andy, asking if I wanted to have it inspected while it was here since it was due next month. Gave me a price of $40 for state inspection, and emissions. That is a solid $20 lower than most any other place I've ever had inspections done. He then inquired about my timing belt and water pump (which needs to be changed before 105,000 miles for my Pilot. I told him Honda told me 105,000 miles, so I had a good 10,000 miles before I needed it, and didn't want to shell out the cash just yet. I asked him if he had a quote off the top of his head, since I knew Honda quoted me at $899. His quote was $596!!! More than $300 less!!! I was impressed, and told him that I would see him again in 10,000 more miles. All in all dropped it off at 9am, picked it up at 11:30. Four wheel alignment and wheel balance, state and emissions inspection later..... $191. Best trip I've had at a mechanic yet! I highly recommend!

About Three months ago, I made an appointment on the Firestone website for an oil change. When I…read morewalked in, I saw a kid leaning on the counter, and his name was Thomas. He looked very unhappy that I had walked through the door. I explained I had an appointment to get an oil change and he leaned in towards me and stated very matter of fact, " not at my place you don't". Flustered I pulled out my phone thinking I got the appointment time wrong. As I was looking through my email confirmation to show him, he explained," we are closing in a half hour and if you think we are doing an oil check on your Car 30 minutes before we close, ... You're wrong" I showed him the confirmation email that I did in fact, have an appointment. His exact words to me were." not trying to be a di*k, but it ain't happening tonight. I don't care if you have a confirmation or not. You don't walk into an establishment, 30 minutes before closing, and say you have an oil change that needs done. Doesn't matter to me when you come back, but you're not getting it done tonight." I explained that we had been loyal customers for almost 9 years with Firestone and he may want to let corporate know that the website permits appointments all the way up until 30 minutes before closing, and that they would be losing a loyal customer. He laughed. He informed me that they did not have any corporate. When I asked to speak to a manager, he snuggly looked at me and leaned in stated that they do not have a manager for me to speak to. I've never been treated so badly at a place... I will never step foot in this Firestone or any other Nine years of being a loyal customer at this Firestone is done as of that day, threemonths ago.
