Scheduled an inspection / emission for 3pm today, called the office and they said it's okay for me to wait for it to finish. Great. They recommended that I'm overdue on maintenance and that I pay them to change my brake fluid, coolant, differential and transmission fluid and for an extra $800 to which I declined. We did an alignment but when I left it was definitely not aligned, video attached. They did fix it when I returned 10 minutes later. Combined wait ~2.5 hours. This place isn't bad, but it wasn't a 5 star experience. read more

HALF-ASS JOB & 2500$ QUOTE TO REPLACE WINDOW SWITCH !!! Problem with my passenger window switch. I could roll it down but not up. I was aware that Master side switch was having a problem but I was okay to live with just the passenger side switch and now it was broken as well. Got it checked here at Big G tires Bridgeville and I was told that the window motor needs replaced on the passenger side and agreed to the quote I was given. The part was ordered and the appointment was made following week. After I showed up at the appointment and waited for few hours, I was told they ordered a wrong part (left side part instead of the right one which had the issue). Again had to wait for another week for the right part to arrive. After fixing the window, I was told the passenger side would work fine and got a quote for fixing the driver side motor. I was never given the quote for master switch when I first stepped into the shop. But I was okay to live with it as long as the passenger side works. As it was winter, I never really tested if the repair was working fine. After few months when I tried to close a few times, it was not working consistently a few times. It would stay open for a few days and then it would randomly work. I should have tested the repair immediately and it was my fault to assume it was fixed and sat on it for months. I went back to Big G again. I was told that the switch is broken now and that needs fixed and the quote was 2500 dollars. Honestly, I am not convinced if really the motor was the issue to begin with in the first place or if they failed to check if the switch was faulty since beginning. Or it was really my sheer bad luck and co-incidence to have consequent faulty parts. Either way, I felt no transparency in the process they follow. Just wanted to share my experience so that you are aware of what you are getting into. Please ensure you verify the repairs consistently again and again in the following weeks and go back to them immediately. read more

While this isn't a place that really anyone looks forward to going to because it's never good news that you get (who gets excited about having to pay for car inspections and whatever service is needed? No one), it is a necessary evil and this is my go-to place for it. Jory has always been very helpful and thorough in explaining his process and rationales. We were able to schedule an appointment for my state inspection within a week, and we dropped it off and waited for the go ahead to come back. At several points during the inspection I got a call from their staff wanting to check in with my and get my blessing on things they had to do. While the bill at the end hurt just a little, I appreciated this level of attention. The worst part about this place is turning left to exit, the parking lot is a little difficult to exit into Washington Pike. I will definitely be back! read more

They matched Tirerack (no other place did) and the installation was smooth and quick. They back up their labor and give lifetime rotation with any tires you purchase. Thought I'd give this place a second chance since it's literally 3 minutes away from my house. BIG MISTAKE..got a call after dropping off my vehicle that the tires I was quoted were not available but a tire that was $30 more per tire was available. I went ahead with the work since I had borrowed my daughter's car for the day. The tires are fine but one of them began leaking and went completely flat leaving my wife without a way to work. I pulled the tire myself and took it back so we could still use the car with the donut spare. Turns out it needed a new sensor so another $75 bucks. The whole experience left me feeling annoyed and ripped off, I'm sure the sensor could have gone bad but never had an issue until I brought it to Big G for service. i will not be going back. read more

Bought 4 tires on the internet and needed a shop to put them on my car. I was quoted the wrong price over the phone. It's was actually under quoted. I told them no need to give me a deal just go ahead and charge what it would be for 19inch tires. Since I was quoted over the phone they honored the quote which they didn't have to. Very nice guys at the desk at this location, very respectful. My issue is when the guys in the garage don't actually put things back together like they're supposed to. They didn't reinstall the entire length of engine compartment seal which was just left laying across the engine almost into the belts. They also cracked the case lid of the cabin air filter where it looks like they tried to force it open without unscrewing the clip that holds it in place. Usually decent service here so was surprised by it, I assume they got rushed and just made a couple mistakes. read more

This spot is, quite literally, the ONLY place anywhere near Pittsburgh that still has the equipment to do an OBD-I emissions test. If not for that, I never would have traveled the hour to Bridgeville, however I left surprised and impressed. I made an appointment and waited a little under an hour, which I feel is totally reasonable. I came to Big G Tire Pro this morning when my check engine light came on and my car kept overheating and stalling out a day before I'm supposed to ship it across the country- so its an absolute must that it be fixed today. The guys at Big G Tire Pros took my car right away and were wonderful about diagnosing the problem and telling me what needed done before they did it so I could decide with my dad if it was the right path to take. I'm still here waiting for them to finish up, but so far I'm incredibly pleased with them and am grateful for their efficiency, kindness, straightforwardness, and time sensitivity. Also for a diagnostic, a new fuse, and a replacement coolant tank I'm quoted $275. I'm not a car person but I was expecting that number to be a lot higher. I'll update this review if my problem's not fixed, but I'm feeling confident that won't happen. read more

BEWARE!!!! I was warned by many people to stay away from Big G Tire, but like a fool, I did not listen!!! I took my vehicle in for new tires and a tune-up and they told me I needed new brakes. If it were not for the cost of the new tires I would have fallen for their scam and had them install new brakes. I took the same vehicle to another shop one week later and he SHOWED me where the brakes were good and all the car needed was brake fluid!! COMPLETE CON ARTISTS. On top of that, they lost one of my lug nuts and DID NOT TELL ME. WAIT, it gets better. When they changed my oil, they forgot to replace a spring that holds the oil filter down!!! I only found out after yet another shop noticed their screw up!!! I feel like a sucker leaving them one star because they don't deserve any!!! STAY AWAY FROM BIG G!!! THEY WILL RIP YOU OFF AND SCREW YOUR CAR UP!!!!! There are PLENTY of other places to give your hard earned money to!!! read more

DO NOT TAKE YOU CAR HERE for service!!!!!. Took my car in because the air conditioning was blowing warm air. They blew out the entire navigation system and control unit. Took it to Acura and they told me that they broke off both clips holding the system in place and they electrical taped the wiring harness. They scratched the leather pulling the system out. Then they have the guts to tell me that they didn't do anything wrong!!!! Acura fixed the navigation system. Now I have to go to court to get my money back. What a hassle!!!! read more
