About Three months ago, I made an appointment on the Firestone website for an oil change. When I walked in, I saw a kid leaning on the counter, and his name was Thomas. He looked very unhappy that I had walked through the door. I explained I had an appointment to get an oil change and he leaned in towards me and stated very matter of fact, " not at my place you don't". Flustered I pulled out my phone thinking I got the appointment time wrong. As I was looking through my email confirmation to show him, he explained," we are closing in a half hour and if you think we are doing an oil check on your Car 30 minutes before we close, ... You're wrong" I showed him the confirmation email that I did in fact, have an appointment. His exact words to me were." not trying to be a di*k, but it ain't happening tonight. I don't care if you have a confirmation or not. You don't walk into an establishment, 30 minutes before closing, and say you have an oil change that needs done. Doesn't matter to me when you come back, but you're not getting it done tonight." I explained that we had been loyal customers for almost 9 years with Firestone and he may want to let corporate know that the website permits appointments all the way up until 30 minutes before closing, and that they would be losing a loyal customer. He laughed. He informed me that they did not have any corporate. When I asked to speak to a manager, he snuggly looked at me and leaned in stated that they do not have a manager for me to speak to. I've never been treated so badly at a place... I will never step foot in this Firestone or any other Nine years of being a loyal customer at this Firestone is done as of that day, threemonths ago. read more

Tire installation I stopped in to make an appointment to have tires installed, they were a present from my son. I was told that they did not appreciate people that did not buy tires from them, this guy was very unprofessional in his manner, he ask me for my phone number and I guess he didn't hear me and instead of asking me again, he just pointed to his ear. My wife stop for a tire issue was rude. Did not want to rest up the car if it wasn't gonna get new tires on it she told me what kind of company is it the one in Greensburg doesn't treat you like that. read more

If you value your safety, DO NOT and I repeat DO NOT go to this place. I took my vehicle there for an alignment as my tires were wearing weird. They try to up sell every unnecessary thing imaginable. When I went to pick it up they were unable to produce a before and after reading (as promised when you book it online) so I had no proof they did anything for the 100+ dollar service. The only proof that I had that they did do something is when I went to drive it the next day, it started shaking like crazy like a wheel was about to fall off. So I pulled over, got out the tire iron and EASILY tighten the lug nuts. Against our better judgement, only because they're open on weekends and we both work, my wife took her vehicle there for an oil change today. Of course they tried to sell her more too and she agreed to an alignment. She got home and also felt her vehicle shaking. And again, I easily tightened the nuts with her tire iron. I mean cmon, you can't even put tires on a vehicle? Not only is that dangerous, that's pathetic. Please learn from my mistakes and take your vehicle somewhere else. Ps. This is nearly two years after they tried to tell me my fog light was out on a new vehicle. I declined having it fixed, obviously, and two years later that light is just fine! read more

While none of us relish the idea of spending time and money getting our vehicles serviced, the guys at this Firestone location do a great job and usually make it fairly painless. I'm in here alot, as we put some serious miles on our van every year, and I also bring my car in for oil changes and tires. They're friendly and professional here, and they don't get too obnoxoius with the upsell. It's not the quickest place to get your oil changed...that award goes to Valvoline, but you pay quite a bit more there too. read more

If you're 2 hours from home and get a flat tire on your trailer, don't come here. They told us they couldn't help because it was a trailer tire. Extremely upset with Firestone. read more

Just an all around awesome experience!!! Had made an appointment for a four wheel balance, and alignment (post pothole season), and to prepare my Pilot for a drive to Savannah, GA. After drop off, I received a call from Andy, asking if I wanted to have it inspected while it was here since it was due next month. Gave me a price of $40 for state inspection, and emissions. That is a solid $20 lower than most any other place I've ever had inspections done. He then inquired about my timing belt and water pump (which needs to be changed before 105,000 miles for my Pilot. I told him Honda told me 105,000 miles, so I had a good 10,000 miles before I needed it, and didn't want to shell out the cash just yet. I asked him if he had a quote off the top of his head, since I knew Honda quoted me at $899. His quote was $596!!! More than $300 less!!! I was impressed, and told him that I would see him again in 10,000 more miles. All in all dropped it off at 9am, picked it up at 11:30. Four wheel alignment and wheel balance, state and emissions inspection later..... $191. Best trip I've had at a mechanic yet! I highly recommend! read more

So we take my car in for inspection and the tech said it failed by one tire .... because they wanted to sell me a 175.00 tire , the girl was Very Rude and went against the state statue for tire inspection . The state statute is if two adjacent tread areas are at least 2/32 the vehicle passes . The female who worked on 10/4 /20 who refused to give me her name . Stated the tire was 1/32 inner, middle was 2/32 and outer was 2/32. Which in the picture I will post below is the SS for PA inspection for tires . She stated she is not a manager and tell the tech that is passed she said the tech says it's unsafe. Which is not true , the SS says otherwise I will call the Corp office this is shady business was practices and going against a state inspection law for tire inspections. Also my company does all their fleet service with Firestone at another location and they are amazing. This girl and tech are trying to boost sales , trying to sell me a tire I don't need and going against State Inspection Guidelines I advised the only female working today that she should pass the vehicle because she is goi g against PA guidelines. She refused to follow what the state says. I told her not to do the oil change so she all of a sudden came back in the phone and said it was all done . After she stated it was not. So once again trying to make sure those hours get paid to the tech on a Sunday. I will reconsider all future business with Firestone for this business practice read more

After the business I usually go to turned me away even after I called ahead and were extremely rude to me I called firestone and they got me in on short notice with an emergency. Very pleased with their kindness. read more

My car broke down on a busy exit off of a highway. The tow truck driver recommended bringing it here. When the driver arrived, he started my car with a battery pack and ran the engine for maybe 5 or 10 minutes. He noted that it didn't sound good. He left, we waited to talk to a service guy, just to be told that he had listened to the engine that entire time and there was nothing they could do for it. So basically this guy knew ahead of time that they couldn't help us, watched the tow truck driver leave and THEN told us he couldn't help us. Now we are sitting outside Firestone waiting in the heat for tow truck #2 to show up. Nope. Do NOT recommend this place. read more

Very rude on the phone while trying to set up an appt. for my daughter to get a battery installed. Got snippy with me and said he was too busy to talk and said bring it in Sunday at 11 am or don't come at all. Then when my daughter got there, they didn't even have a battery in stock, she had to wait an hour and a half for them to have one delivered. They had two days to make sure they had one, they knew she was coming and knew what make and model the car was. Charged an extra $21 for a vehicle inspection, which we did not ask for or pre-approve. read more

Every time I go to this particular location, another problem occurs. When I had my brake pads and rotors changed, the mechanic did not do a road test, so the brake was very spongy until the pads got settled in. I almost hit a car in front of me, meanwhile. The second occurrence was when I went back for the warranty work for a failed caliper previously installed. They did replace it for free since it was under warranty period, that part was good. On the other hand, they left a brake fluid cap on the engine and close the hood. It dented the hood of my car outward, with a clear cap mark. I went back to talk to the manager, and he talked to the mechanic who worked on it. The mechanic did not remember leaving anything on the engine before closing the hood, so there was nothing I could go with at that point. It was a $449 damage after all. I have been avoiding this store for the past two years although I have a lifetime warranty on parts on brakes and tire alignment. Today, I finally decided to make an appointment to give another chance to this place. There is no point to hold a negative feeling since they didn't do these things on purpose. When I called and asked for their availability today, the service manager on duty, Andy, was somehow irritable and became frustrated. He yelled at me and said, "Sir! you've got to give me some days to start out with! " This was after I had already said, "later this week, possibly as early as Tuesday." I suppose he needed a particular time, but it was not necessary to raise voice over the phone. It was discouraging, especially after I took a hiatus on getting a service from this location. I think they do the best they can within their capability and competence. At the same time, I did notice that those things at this location are not as high as other comparable places. With a proper training and education, this place can be a great auto-service center, but it really depends on their management and willingness of their employees to improve. read more

I have been a Firestone customer at the Washington, PA, location for almost two years for all tire/wheel needs and general maintenance. Having purchased the lifetime wheel alignment service almost 12 years ago from another Pittsburgh location, all tire purchases, tire rotations, wheel changes (all season to winter), oil & filter, as well as state inspections have been performed at Firestone. I have had only good experiences at this location. Ashley, the service adviser has been awesome, as well as the team of technicians that have performed service on my vehicle. Even when there was a mix up on appointment time, they managed to fit me in if I could wait an extra hour or so, I waited and they fit me in. Going to get service on your vehicle is not fun, but I feel very comfortable and respected as a female customer and trust in their suggestions/advice. I've never felt as if I was being taken for granted or that they were trying to "pull one over on me". I highly recommend the Washington, PA, Firestone location. read more

We've had quite a bit of work done here, but during a recent repair they forgot to put my dipstick back in my engine. Not a big deal, and they did replace it, but they kind of gave us a hassle about it (they dismissed my wife when she called them about it and I had to go there in person to resolve the issue). Everybody makes mistakes; it's how you recover that counts. read more

I had a tire blow out on my trailer on the interstate by this location. Living over two hours away. I found this firestone hoping they could help. Well... I was wrong. It was 15 minutes until closing time so the guy behind the counter was already in shut down mode. Asked if he could help me and explained what happened to him. I had a spare tire already mounted on a rim with me (explained this to him). Then he told me well we have two cars to finish and we close in 15 minutes. Asked if I could leave it with them over night After I already told him I wasnt local. I even told him I could do it myself in the parking lot if I could use a jack and a four way wrench. He went and talked to his "master tire technicians". Then came out and told me they didnt know how to do trailer tires... and proceeded to refer me across the street to a harbor freight where I could get tools. Hahaha what a f***ing joke this place is. So that's what I did after telling Cletus behind the counter how much I liked him. Went to Harbor freight bought a jack and a four way and did it in there parking lot in 10 minutes. read more

Don't schedule an appointment on the internet. I did that a week before requesting a tire replacement and upon showing up was told that they didn't get my appointment information and that they only had 4 tires in stock (snow tires in the middle of the summer) for my Durango. Didn't offer to reschedule or try to get my choice of tire at all. Absolutely useless. i would avoid. read more
