This joint has been around in one form, or another since 1886 and started life as Kansas City High School. The current building built in 1936 is modern or Art Deco style by Hamilton,Fellows & Nedved. It's a master piece. The twin massive fireplaces, still in use, are outside of the administration area. There's an onsite museum featuring some of the notable alumni including Ray Evans and Ed Asner.
