It used to be much nicer. Definitely looks like it has changed ownership. The technique is way off. Watched them use the same scrubby and water that they use on tires on the exterior of the vehicle. The lounge is no longer nice and quaint but just filled with alibaba markups. They should lower the price to about 10 dollars or otherwise vastly improve their services. I visited in Aug 2025 for the first time. The wash was ok however there was an issue with my sunroof, that one of the Spanish-only speaking associates brought to my attention. When I asked management for clarification they advised that they don't speak Spanish either and it was not their problem to sort out. It would have been nice if they made minimal effort to resolve the matter or simply apologize for not being able to help further. Should have read the bad reviews before coming here. Left scratches all over my brand new 2025 civic. When I came back the guy tried to tell me they had been there and kept trying to use the dirty rag he already scratched it with to get off the scratches that he made that are never going to come off. So upset. Messed up the paint on a brand new car right off the lot. Receptionist could only give me a business card and said the manager was not in and would not refund me. This place needs to get shut down if they are going to allow employees to scratch up cars with dirty rags and no one monitoring them. read more

This is my goto carwash place in DC and I am satisfied each and every time. Especially for the price, which is very low compared to other places. If you want to spend $150 on a detail then you should take your car there; however, if you want a good vacuuming, wash of the exterior, tires, and windows (inside and out) for less than $30 then this is the place for you! read more

I go to this car wash faithfully abd have been for a long time beforew the management change. On 2 occaisions, during the wash, the back cover on my dri=ver side mirros was broken off. I spoke to the lady at the register and she loked for the part but couldn't find it. Several weeks later, I was back and this time, the mirror on the drivers side was broken out. I heard a thud when my car came out. I brought it to the managers attention and he told me it was that way before thew wash. After a heated discussion he came back with the broken mirror but refused to fix my mirror. DO NOT GO TO THIS CAR WASH. they are rude and not honest. read more

Honestly I wouldn't go here unless you want a basic rinse for your car. I paid close to $30 for their ultimate wash (they charge an extra fee for SUVs) and I essentially got a special wash (lowest one). I had to request that they use a little more elbow grease and literally only one or the workers remained to follow up with my request. Horrible customer service! Takes no accountability! I went to get my car wash, car went in perfectly fine came out with a huge crack in my windshield. When I asked what happened no one could give me an answer and kept saying it was there when I arrived. This is not the case and when I asked them to run back the camera they all of a sudden had no access to them. A police report is filed and an insurance claim is made. Absolutely terrible car wash. After upwelling us on the more expensive wash/clean, the car comes out completely still covered in dirt and grime. Windshield wasn't cleaned at all, doors still had dirt all over, and the inside wasn't vacuumed, despite paying for interior vacuum service. They ended up re-cleaning the car with windex spray all over after I asked for it to be re-run through the wash, which they denied (also denied a refund). When I continued pointing out the several dirty spots all around and inside the car, the owner started telling me that this wasn't a "detail" service, which is ridiculous - a basic wash isn't a full car detail, and they still failed to deliver on that. Highly recommend against this place - terrible wash and service. read more

I am giving two stars simply for the wait! Of o could back up and leave I would have. I understand that there is great attention to detail, and the job is done well but I should not have to wait in line for over 30 minutes and still 2 cars in front of me to get vacuumed. They should definitely hire additional people, as they are not prepared to handle the volume of business. I'm going to be honest, this was going to be a good review. Truth be told, I'm not sure what to even give it. The car wash was fine, they did a good job. Upon exiting the business I turned into the Safeway on Ga Ave. I was about to park, when I noticed my side view mirror had a crack in it. I called business, told them and they told me to come back. I will turn to the business, and told the supervisor that I think that my mirror was cracked while in the car wash. They talked amongst themselves for a minute. Then the supervisor told me that it was impossible that the machines could crack by side view mirror. When I asked to speak to the manager the supervisor said that the manager was not on site. And to leave my number. When I asked for a number to directly reach the Manager, I was told " I can't just give the managers number out to anyone." I know for a fact that I did not crack my Sideview mirror in the 50 feet did I drove from leaving the business, into the Safeway parking lot. The supervisor wasn't very helpful, and now I'm frustrated that I left without a refund or at least speaking to the manager. read more

It's so hard to find a good car wash in this area! But I'm pleased with my first experience here since the place has come under new management. After weeks of good intentions, I finally came here to wash the winter storm road salt from my car. I don't remember the name of the package I ordered, but it was neither the cheapest nor the most expensive one -- and it included the undercarriage wash and washing of floor mats. Service was quick and efficient. Once you pull in, you go around the back and tell the men working the vacuum which package you want. They'll give you a slip of paper showing your choice. Then you get out of the car and go inside and pay for your package. (Pro tip: Remember to take your key with you.) From there, the men vacuum your car and then pull it inside the car wash area, where it will be treated with whatever services you purchased in your package. Once the car emerges from the car wash bay, other workers get to work hand drying the car, shining the tires, and doing whatever work is part of your package. Once the car is ready, you get in and drive off. Easy peasy. I went on a Saturday morning, and thankfully the place was not too busy. Start to finish I was there for less than 15 minutes. I thought the entire experience rated about 4.5 stars. The workers that clean the car are very nice, polite, and efficient. The lady working the cash register is not that nice or welcoming, but that may be the result of cultural differences in customer service expectations. I thought the cleaning that you get for the money is a good value. This is not going to be a professional detail by any stretch of the imagination. But your car will look much better than when it arrived. My only complaint is that I didn't think they were as careful vacuuming some of the crevices of my car, which weren't really dirty but then again looked about the same as when I took it in. Also, I noticed that there were a few missed spots on the exterior of the car. There was some thing that looks like a little drop of bird poop left on my car window even after it had been through the car wash and separately been hand treated by the staff. Also, it seem like they may use some kind of feather duster like product inside, such that I had little pieces of tiny white feathers floating in the air and eventually settling in my car overtime. So those are the things that prevent me from giving this a full 5 stars. But I again think you get your money's worth overall, for sure. read more

My wife and I both brought our cars at the same time. Some sort of solvent was used that destroyed the paint on both cars. On mine, it stripped paint off the Honda decals, on my wife's it ate the powder coat away on her hub caps. The total cost to get her car repainted was several hundred dollars. When my wife tried to complain, she was verbally abused by employees and management who first tried to gaslight her and tell her the damage was there beforehand. They also refused to hand over the security tape (which showed her hubcaps were fine) to the insurance investigator. A dishonest business who will damage your vehicle and do nothing to fix the damage they caused. They refused to even provide us with a refund. Avoid at all costs. read more

The biggest item I requested was to get the bugs off the grill/front of the car (and tipped an extra $10 knowing it would require a little elbow grease). The gentleman who was wiping off the car outright refused. So I grabbed a rag and ended up doing it myself, while the entire team watched. I complained to the owner who didn't even respond. Then, when they put my floormats back, I discovered that they broke one of the clips to the mat. I brought it to the attention of the manager and he didn't even apologize. I had a fantastic experience at this car wash last week. The customer service experience was outstanding: when I arrived and mentioned the package I wanted to get, they offered me the upgraded package at the same price, simply because I was a new customer. I was in and out within 15 minutes, and they did an excellent job both inside and outside the car. While I was paying inside, I was also given the option to pay $3 extra for disinfecting the interior - which in COVID times is pretty fantastic. After the job was completed, the manager (I believe he was the manager) asked me to take a look around and make sure I was satisfied. I got the Ultimate Wash, but after car was ready, it looked like I just got a very light wash. The trunk wasn't vacuumed at all, even though I specifically asked and paid for this beforehand. Some places on the outside and the side mirrors weren't even touched. Inside the mats were vacuumed, but no one washed the rubber side or anything else; again, something that was supposed to be included in the Ultimate Wash price. I guess it's not worth it to order anything above the basic $14.99 car wash, because even if you order anything else you will get the same basic cheap wash without any of the additional promised features. read more

Living in DC rats got into my car and they did their business. So I needed some serious cleaning for my Ford Explorer. Oh but in addition to rats, I have three kids and we eat snacks in the car all the time. So let's just say my car was filthy. I showed up at 5pm and was pleasantly surprised not to see a line. Everyone was friendly. No one shamed me for having a dirty car (like some people do at other places). I have this car wash, many times before, when it was known as Mr Gee's. The service, then, was absolutely the best. But now, the do care about anything, but money. They have raised prices, across the board. The only 2 times that I have visited here, since new ownership took over, have been a disaster. The first time, they damaged equipment, in my car, and tried to deny it. The 2nd time, was just this WEDNESDAY. I brought it back because they did not clean the interior windshield properly they wanted to charge me,again, for a full car wash. All I wanted them to do was to take a wet rag, and wipe the inner windshield. They sent me on my way, a very unhappy customer, and did not care. I might add that I am a one legged amputee, and cannot clean the windshield, myself I will not come back, but I will be calling DCRA, on MONDay, to file a complaint!!
