I am writing to detail a severely negative experience at Washville Car Wash where my vehicle sustained significant damage. During a wash, my windshield and trunk were broken, resulting in a repair estimate exceeding $4,000.
My attempts to resolve this issue directly with the car wash were met with unprofessional and uncooperative communication. The initial offer for reimbursement included a check for the repair estimate and a potential offer of complimentary washes. I agreed to this direct settlement, but the check was promised and did not arrive after ten days, nor was I contacted regarding the delay. A subsequent call from the manager, Justin MENTER, confirmed the check was late.
The communication surrounding this incident has been highly concerning. When dealing with the Manager Justin Menter, I was told he was indifferent to the financial outcome of the claim. Furthermore, the owner/principal of Washville did not speak with me directly, insisting that all communication go through the manager, which demonstrates a significant lack of direct accountability.
Due to the car wash's failure to provide the promised compensation, I was forced to file a claim through my own insurance. Additionally, Washville refused to cover the incidental expenses I incurred while attempting to manage the claim and transport my family, including fees for multiple repair estimates, Ubers, and a rental vehicle, which totaled several hundred dollars out-of-pocket.
In summary, while accidents can happen, the ensuing claims process and the lack of professionalism, responsiveness, and accountability from Washville Car Wash's management turned a significant repair issue into a frustrating and costly ordeal. Please do not go to this business. read more
