I have been a resident of Fayette County for well over 20 years. In that time, this transfer/recycling center has been an absolute joke. Pathetic! NOTHING ...and I mean No Thing ....has been done to improve and streamline how residents of Fayette County can deal with their disposables and recyclables ...to include being able to deal with yard waste and take the free mulch that's been made from the waste. They get the lowest bidder to run this facility. Right now it's Waste Management ...and based on what I've experienced, they're in it for one thing only; to run it on a shoestring and make the most money they can out of it. It seems as if the whole thing is designed and run to be as totally inefficient and exasperating as possible; for that the Fayette County commissioners can slap themselves on their collective backs. The truly sad part is, I've been to many recycling centers in towns and small cities that have truly outstanding recycling/transfer facilities; and they take *everything*. But here, in one of the more wealthy counties in Georgia, we have this exemplary model of inefficiency at its best; truly a nightmare of a facility a kindergartner could do a better job of designing and running. Use the county transfer station at the cost of your sanity. read more

Been in line for over 90 minutes now. The WM person had me pull my truck in the center lane and they have taken everyone but us!! Folks just getting here are allowed to go in front of us!!! No time or reason this place just sucks read more

Was closed this Saturday without notice. 10-1-22 New company they said. Man was really rude also.

Terrible company. Watched their truck roll through my neighborhood while walking my dogs and they completely skipped my cul-de-sac. Called and requested they return and pick up 2 days in a row and got the same answer - they'll be back today for pickup. Then 2 days pass woth no pickup. Same thing happened a few months ago and we had to wait til the following week. I will be canceling service when the office opens tomorrow. Your campany sucks read more

I assumed on Labor Day that trash would not be picked up but it was . Ok. I called and was told if they come out it would be an extra charge. So I said I'll just leave it for September 11,2023. No one came and got my trash. I called and was told that someone would be there the following day. September 18,2023. My trash is still sitting in the front of my home. Called and was told they would be there the following day and nothing. Here we are going into another weekend and I have 2/3 weeks worth of trash in the front of my door. I pay $66 a month to have my trash picked up and can't even get service. At this point I just want y'all to come and pick y'all cans up and I will go with another company that don't have a problem with removing trash on their designated days that they give customers. read more

Prices were raised to a flat rate. Bringing 4 bags o trash was $15.00 . Won't be back there.
