(namely when she got her start by literally mirroring mermaid linden's website, and giving the media in Canada photos and video of mermaid linden and another swim school claiming it was HER- so she went viral, under someone else's stolen content) She doesn't have the best reputation within the professional world, though that shouldn't reflect on individual franchises who buy their franchises from her and they do not associate. in the beginning when they were trying to kickstarter for their tails, they advertised it using other tail makers tails, and footage taken without consent of other mermaids and used despite being asked not to use other mers unwilling to promote her brand. Another instance of stealing foam inserts from mermaid linden's monofins and then claiming she invented them for her tails. a mermaid convention had frequent issues with her attending workshops she hadn't paid for, and then filming them, and then trying to stop her from putting those workshops people paid for- for free online. There are people who worked for her when she first started and didn't get all of their pay, and were not provided the promised materials to put on classes. She is not a company I choose to support due to the damage she has caused in the industry, and her blatant disregard for the rights of others when it comes to filming them without their knowledge and then trying to use that to represent her company. Also all the blatant lying claims to be the first swim school in Canada (she was the 3rd or 4th by the time she got going) and the first pro mermaid. *rolls eyes* She's also lying about her swimming instructors being certified lifeguards. where she's hiring people without any credentials. her monofins are heavy, and difficult to swim with, cheap quality, fall off easily and mermaid spandex has a very short life span, meaning they rip easily. students pay 60$ per person an hour, when instructors get paid 14$ an hour to teach a full class of 8.

From the very first lesson, the kids were clearly learning a lot and becoming really comfortable in the water. He clearly has a lesson plan and knows exactly what to do, all the time, and the kids have responded well. They look forward to every swimming lesson! Kristopher is very thoughtful, kind, patient, and reliable - we couldn't ask for a better instructor for our kids. We're looking forward to more lessons over the summer!

I tried a free class from here as a first timer. I have to say they were pretty nice and welcoming…read more It was the first time I have tried cycling class. I prebooked my seat and class online. When you walk in they have a little shoe area to take off your boots/shoes and then a rack to put your coat. You check yourself in where there are iPads. They said shoes go in half size so I am usually a 8 and ended up with a 7.5 which was a bit snug but manageable. Then there are lockers further down. I found it cute they wrote a little sign on your locker - welcome to cycle bar with your name as well. They also give you a little red plastic bottle with your name too so you can refill it with water. I filled mine and drank the entire thing during my class. You definitely work up a sweat. I tried a music video class - punk vs pop which was nice. Lots of blink 182, Rihanna, etc.

Right from the start I felt like I was apart of the cycle crew even…read morethough it was my first time there -- my water bottle was waiting for me with my name on it ; the lady at the front checked me in with the Ipad! The studio is CLEAN, BRIGHT and TRENDY! Super modern. Rachel was my cycle instructor and she was soooooo energetic ; she explained everything throughly and made sure everyone was comfortable. The highlight of my ride was walking out sweaty and finding MIMOSAS on the bar !! What a great touch to their Sunday brunch ride. I will FOR SURE return , I'm excited to cycle with other instructors.
