There was parking across the street, and Maui Ocean Sports was easy to find in the back of the complex. The front desk guy and our guide, Luke, were super friendly. Our group of 4 and the other group of 3 in our time slot had all kayaked before, so we got minimal instruction. We saw so many turtles on our paddle out! It was beautiful on the water and we had the best time! They provide water and you can borrow a dry bag if you don't have one, and leave stuff in a cabinet - we left towels and a change of clothes (restroom on the property and place to rinse right off the beach).

There are some high end hotels along the beach path so if you get hungry there are nice places to grab a bite. There is also a beach shack where you can grab a quick bite and enjoy it on the beach.

It's located within walking distance from luxury resorts like the Four Seasons and Grand Wailea. It's also minutes away from The Shops at Wailea shopping mall. It's a popular spot in a busy area so there are lots of people but the water is very blue. They have complimentary parking in the lot nearby and also have public restrooms. If you're lucky you might be able to spot sea turtles in the water.

Parking is available but does require a fee of about $16, so keep that in mind when planning your visit. The beach can get windy, and there may be sporadic rain, so it's best to plan ahead and check the weather. Overall I'd love to come back to visit again!

The playground is super clean and fun, and there's plenty of grass for picnics or just relaxing. We love coming here as a family, whether it's for a quick play session or to spend the whole afternoon. There aren't too many people, which is a nice change from the busier parks. And the view? So beautiful, especially on a clear day! It's definitely a bit out of the way, but we don't mind the drive, it's always worth it.
