Ira Hansen and Sons Plumbing lied about service rendered!…read more They claimed to have shut off the water & drained our water heater. the problem? the drain broke off the water heater, & the water main was shut off an hour prior to them getting on site. we just requested a quote for replacement. they voided the invoice when called out, but if they lie about the most simple & verifiable things, imagine how much they would lie to screw you out of as much money as possible when you're not able to validate. also fyi I replaced the water heater myself in 3 hours as a complete amateur & it cost $760 instead of the $3,300 quoted. (permits & inspections costs included!)

The work cost was very reasonable and done well. I hope I don't need a plumber any time soon but if I do, I will definitely call Gary's plumbing again.

I spoke with Megan at Nevada Heating and cooling immediately the next morning who was understanding of our situation but said a lot of the techs were busy but to give her a few minutes and see what she could do for me. Within 30 minutes she called called back and we were on the schedule for the next morning to get this process going and assess the repairs requested which they did and we knew exactly what it would cost and how long to repair. With in 48 hours all repairs were done with three different technicians Alan, Rob, and Zach. All of them were on time, respectful, courteous, and there were no surprises with the repairs what was quoted is what was done. They made sure the repairs were done correctly. And I also had a check-in from Megan to make sure everything was good. I do understand that sometimes businesses get negative reviews, but I will tell you that for the past seven years I have never had any negative experiences with Nevada Heating and Cooling. I mentioned to Chris that something went awry after we tried to secure the cover of the Nest thermostat (it was loose from the wall). The AC had worked before but after doing something with the cover, the AC stopped working. Chris quickly found the problem (a fuse had blown out). Chris was very professional, gave me some ideas on a Honeywell thermostat (we're not BIG fans of the new NEST thermostat), showed me how to read the error codes on our furnace (watch the number of red light flashes and compare it to the brochure left with the furnace). It was easy, peasy, even someone like me who has no HVAC experience could do this. They came out, relined my sewer, installed a clean out, and covered up the hole by 3pm, even hauling away the big rocks they dug up. I decided to go with "Cured-In-Place Pipe" because it only requires a single hole approximately 2'x4' instead of a trench through my landscaping that would cut very big tree roots since the trench would have been within five feet of four very large trees. Replacing the pipe would also have left three feet of my old (orangeburg) pipe from curb to the city connection, unless willing to pay an additional thousand dollars for 3 more feet. Ryan and two crew members showed up at the scheduled 7 AM time and did an excellent job. Finishing around 2:30 PM after the city inspector approved the work. Ryan and his crew were professional and careful with all the landscaping. They installed a new ABS cleanout, backfilled and cleaned up the work area beautifully.
