I've used Paschell Plumbing, Heating, and Air in the past for work on my heater, so I called them again to get a quote for repairing or replacing my A/C unit. They scheduled me for the following week, but on the day of the appointment, I got a call saying they couldn't make it due to an accident on the freeway. Totally understandable so I rescheduled for the next week. This time, I was told the tech would arrive between 10 AM and 12 PM. No one showed up. No call, no update, nothing. I finally called the office, only to be told that they don't call customers if they're going to be late. That policy alone was enough of a red flag for me. I had another appointment that day, so I canceled and didn't bother to reschedule. They may do good work, but if they're this busy and this unreliable with communication, I'll have to take my business elsewhere. read more

We had the unfortunate luck to have a home with shower heads that can't just be replaced with a turn and we needed a handheld shower head installed for my mother with dementia. At the beginning of the pandemic, I messaged Paschall through Facebook and not only did they respond quickly but they also allowed me to send video and get a general idea for what we needed. We waited because at the time it wasn't urgent but after my mom broke her leg this February, we knew we could not put it off any longer. I called and got a quick appointment and Matthew showed up on time. He was pleasant and FAST. The job was done and done well, in about 15 minutes AND it came in under estimate. Back in late 2024/early 2025 We were having a lot of trouble with both our air conditioning and our hot water heater. We were just getting quotes and considering repairs before selling our home. We ended up just giving seller credits, however their quotes were in line with other companies and the employees were very pleasant. Fast forward to July 2025 in our new home, we'd called out another company who claimed all these things were wrong with our swamp cooler. We were skeptical, so we called Paschall out for a 2nd opinion. They gave us the complete opposite opinion, said the swamp looks fantastic and showed us pictures proving the other company was not only lying to us, but also trying to upsell us to central A/C. Let me start by saying Paschall Plumbing is awesome....in case you only read the first sentence to get a feel for the review! Plumbing issues are usually unexpected and something that needs to be taken care of asap. We had some issues with roots blocking our line, after a total of four visits from another company, the problem remained and simply did not go away. We needed a company that had a camera to inspect the line properly. I used Yelp of course to help my search and called about and decided on Pascall Plumbing, they were pleasant and were able to come almost right away. Matt came with the camera to inspect the line and very quickly and efficiently completed that task. He has many many years of experience, knew how the sewer lines ran in this neighborhood and was able to give us a quote to fix this problem. They were back in two days and completed the job in one day. When they left, very little trace anything had happened, the only indentation was caused from the large machine and only because the lawn was rain soaked. Excellent job all around, they came with all the proper equipment and most importantly the expertise and knowledge to do the job. On February 10th Matt T from Paschall plumbing came to check on the leak from my water heater. It was not just a small leak but caused much damage to the sheet rock to the adjoining bedroom wall and floor. He told me I needed a new water heater. I asked if we could replace the water heater, furnace, and air conditioner. He said yes. So I decided re-place everything. I asked him if it was okay to put the water heater back in the same place since there was so much water, the water had pooled on the garage floor. I asked for his expertise and he kept telling me he didn't see anything wrong. He took out the water heater, furnace, and air conditioner, he replaced the water heater and put it back on the damaged sheet rock. He charged me $8000 deposit at that time. I contacted my insurance company the next day. My insurance company sent out an adjuster and he saw the water damage and said the damage should have been fixed before the water heater was replaced. I contacted Matt T and told him my insurance company said that I needed to have the water heater taken out so the damaged sheet rock could be fixed then we could re-install the water heater. The furnace was not replaced yet, and we had a cold snap in the weather. I was so worried that my pipes would freeze. He told me he was busy and he couldn't do anything for at least a week he also asked for the rest of the money up front. My insurance adjuster did call Matt T to ask about what was wrong with the water heater, and I was told by my adjuster that Matt T couldn't answer any of their questions clearly. I ended up cancelling the rest of the work with Paschall, was refunded $2050 from the $8000. In the end, I had to hire another company to re-install the water heater, and a furnace, That company did the job the very next day after I called. read more

Their receptionist was great and she fit us in at the end of the next day. they showed up on time and trouble shouted the problem. we needed a new fan motor and they came through the next morning as promised, ya I k was terrific and knowledgeable. very personable, even offered to help carry groceries in. i thought the bill was reasonable considering our AC is old. I experienced a small house fire that resulted in the firefighters flooding and destroying my furnace. Paschall Plumbing assured me they could get it and a pellet stove pipe (cause of the fire) promptly replaced with like kind units. TWENTY ONE visits from their tech later, it still was not completed after NINE MONTHS of waiting. I continued to occupy the house daily during business hours, but did not sleep there. I lived without a furnace while they continued to futz around and failed to get the job done. Winter rolled in and I had enough of delays, so I wrote a formal demand to the office, with photos of the unfinished work, and was told by the manager (who had never visited the site) the work was finished, and all delays were my fault. On top of that, she tried to charge me for the "extra" visits by their tech to get the basic job completed! I have so much more to tell about their negligence, substandard quality of work and attempts to overcharge every aspect of the job. Threatening a grievance to the Nevada Contractors Board got them out to finish the tasks, but some of the sloppy rooftop workmanship (flashing around vent pipes) resulted in a leaky bath ceiling that collapsed (it is rainy today and dripping again!). Unless you want to fight with your contractor, live with endless delays, go nine months without a furnace and get charged for their failure to complete the job, and overall utter incompetence, DO NOT do business with this company. read more

Got a quote for a water heater replacement. They want about $3800-$4200 for a gas tank type heater (Bradford White - 75 gal). Installation is simple - garage location in spot that has pre-existing tank already plumbed and wired. This is an outrageous price. People - the only way these guys get away with charging this amount is if we keep agreeing to overpay them. We are not going to do business with them - we found someone else that was both reputable and professional that cost much less. read more

Our master shower wouldn't turn all the way off so water was leaking bad from the showerhead. A friend of mine recommended Paschall. I was worried because it was a Sunday and I was pretty sure it was going to cost a lot for them to come out on a weekend. I called them, Matt returned my call, and came out at around 8pm that night. Unfortunately, he needed a part from a plumbing supply store to fix it and of course they aren't open on Sunday's. Matt called me Monday morning, he got the part he needed, and came by and fixed it. My water heater was leaking so, after doing some research, I called Paschall and spoke with a very amiable fellow named Bruce who told me he would have someone out to assess and estimate the job. Within half an hour Matt arrived (also a very likeable chap). He assessed the issue and started to work right away! Within about three hours (this included going back to the shop to obtain the correct water heater) we had hot water once again that is all up to the latest code! I am quite pleased with the service I received from both Bruce and Matt and would not hesitate to call them again should the need arise. While the tech who came out to look at our water heater to see if it need to be drained was nice and prompt--got charged 129$ just for him to say that it should not be drained. Nothing was done. My husband was told by the dispatcher when he made the appt that it was going to cost 129$ for everything including the process of draining it. When he called to ask about this, the story changed and that it was a fee of 129$ just to come out and do a "diagnostic" and that draining the water heater would likely have additional costs. Business practices seem a little shady and manipulative, and fees are NOT made clear by the dispatcher--and so when you sign the paperwork you are not made aware of the very tiny print that says you are obligated to pay the diagnostic fee, even if nothing is done. I had my water spigot break at the bottom in my backyard. I called them out to come to inspect it and hope to have it fixed. I had to go back off to work so I trusted the workers to be there unsupervised to fix the spigot. When I came back from work the spigot was about 6ft out of the ground. I had to call them back out to make it much shorter since it was way taller than me. Then when I received the bill, they had charge me for about 10 hours per tech (so 20 total hours for one day), which I know it did NOT take that long to do all of this. When contacted, they argued it and I definitely got ripped off a lot of money. However, they get the job done so I guess thats a plus. I won't be recommending them. In addition, I was given a quote prior to the work being done, the final bill was much greater than the actual quote. read more

My mother, who passed away a few months ago, received a bill from Paschall Plus. The bill shows an invoice date of April 2022 and below the bill states " Please remit ASAP! to avoid further action"! Mind you, this was written in RED ink as well. So I called them and spoke with Angie. I told her I have a question regarding my mother's bill that she received in the mail. Though I have not notified her yet that my mother had passed. She simply says "ok"? and there was a moment of silence. With her reply, I was not sure if she needed any information from me to look up my mother's account. So I told her that I needed help. She finally ask if there was an invoice number, and so I gave it to her. I told her my mother usually pays the workers at the time of service. Angie looked up the account and said there was no payment made. I told her my mother passed away a few months ago. She simply replies "ok?..this bill is still outstanding". I informed Angie we are going through a legal matter right now and if they can push this out. She ask "soooo, how long do you want to push it out"? I told her maybe two or three months. She replies "ok"? I told Angie my mother passed away, not to get out of paying the bill, but simply getting some suggestions like extending the courtesy. I also wanted to find out from Angie if any phone calls were attempted to collect from my mother while she was alive. Angie said my mother did not have an email address so they were not able to send her an email. Though I was not asking her about emailing. So I ask again about any phone calls made, and she says no there are no records of any phone calls being made. I told her the invoice was back in April, and they did not try to call her? She then told me I was being hostile and our phone call is being recorded. I told her I work in customer services as well and she does not have any customer service skills at all. She just kept saying how the call is being recorded and that I'm being hostile. She also threatened me to settle the matter in court. And after all the awful remarks she has said to me, she hangs up the phone and leaves me hanging on the other line. Well, Angie, I truly hope our conversation was recorded. I assure you, with the kind of customer service you have presented to me, which was absolutely VERY POOR, I will never refer ANYONE to PASCHALL PLUS . read more

It has been over a week since Paschall's did some work for me, and I intentionally waited this long to write the review in order to cool down. I had pulled my toilet and replaced the wax ring with a "new and improved" rubber seal, which leaked. I pulled the toilet again, and called Paschall's. They came out and put in a new wax ring and re-seated the toilet. They also suggested replacing the insides of the tank - Total cost was $247. Three days later I had to call them again - still leaking. He shimmed the toilet because (he said) the floor was not level -(the floor IS perfectly level, front to back and side-side!) - no charge! Two days later I had to call them again - still leaking! He now says the toilet is cracked! Solution: buy one of "their toilets" - another $750, installed. If I buy a toilet from HD and they install it, it is ONLY $350 - after all this trouble! I bought a toilet for $180 and installed it myself. - After 10 days, no leaks (and no shims!) ~ I will not be calling Paschall's again! read more

We had an emergency late on a Friday afternoon when our kitchen faucet broke causing water to come spilling out onto the floor. I found Paschall plumbing online and called. I spoke with Bruce and immediately, he sent out Chad. What a great response. Within an hour Chad had located and explained the problem, found a replacement faucet that could be installed the next day. The next morning Chad was here, installed the new faucet and cleared all the packaging from the parts and was gone. The place was as if nothing had ever happened.
