The first issue I had with them was when they showed up they never turned on 2 out of the 3 fans that were supposed to run for 2 days to dry it out. They just put them in the rooms and left. Thank goodness my tenant stopped in to check on the unit and was able to plug them in. And when I called to ask them if they should have been plugged in they were just like ,"Oops, yeah we should have plugged them in." Meanwhile I was covering my tenants hotel so they wouldn't have had to deal with the noise and smell and if they hadn't stopped in to plug them in I would have had to cover extra days because of their lack of thoroughness. After they fan incident they came back and all of a sudden insisted I needed crown molding replaced in my living room due to water damage even though it was nowhere near the bathroom leak. I finally agreed, and then they bought the wrong size crown molding (not to mention the fact they charged me $300 for $50 worth of crown molding! But I live out of town so I'm kind of at their mercy). They tell me the will have to come back with the right size crown molding the following week and they will install it and touch up the paint then. They come back and install the crown molding and caulk and are supposed to come back when they could fit it in to paint (which is paint I already have there). Weeks go by and my tenant mentions that they still haven't come back to paint so I call them. The finally remember me and set up an appointment for the next week. About 15 minutes before they are supposed to start the painting I get a call from them stating if I want the painting done it will be an extra $800 because it is a custom color (even though I am providing the paint) or they can prime it for an additional $150. I told her I had already paid for everything in full and that painting was included in the quote. She then goes on to tell me that only includes the primer, which is definitely not what I was told by Bob, the manager (and by the way, which I've already paid for and still hasn't been done). And of course Bob is on vacation so they won't paint unless I pay or he OK's it when he comes back. Meanwhile my tenant has taken off work to meet them there. I told them they weren't getting one more cent from me at that point because I knew it was a scam. This is obviously a way to try to scam paying customers out of additional money. Never once during the the entire process, including the estimate phase, when I was told of the additional fee to remove and replace the crown molding, and when I called to remind them they needed to come back to finish painting, did they mention this additional fee to actually paint. And I specifically asked Bob, both during the estimate portion and when we agreed to to have the crown molding replaced, if they would be painting the area to match what was there since I have the paint and there was never a mention of an additional fee to do this. Not to mention the fact that I am providing the paint! And we are talking about a condo that is only 900 sq. Ft. There is no way it is $800 to paint 1 wall for that price. My tenant also told me they were completely unprofessional the whole time. To the point where he would actually rather wait and not have it be painted than continue to be jerked around by them. If you decide to use this company I would make sure you are present to make sure they are actually doing what they are supposed to be doing, question everything and get proof that work actually needs to be completed and make sure you don't pay them until you are sure everything is done. Their lack of professionalism, thoroughness, lack of customer service and most importantly ethics just ensured I will never use them again and will definitely not suggest them to anyone who asks me.

She several times requested everything in writing because she does not have an email address nor did she use a computer. After they ask her what her deductible is and they say they will take that $7100 Up front They make her sign an open contract with no pricing and no estimate She's not comfortable and she immediately an estimate in writing to admit to the insurance company and they say "don't worry we'll call the insurance company and we work directly with the insurance company and we'll do all the billing through them "they never called the insurance company once . The only contact they had with this insurance company was when when they wanted all their money several months later. This was predatory, contracting, profiling, the elderly So after four days, The insurance company and myself were request an estimate exactly of their cost of work to the moment and an estimate of repairs they sent us a bill for $17,707.68 for four days of work . I submitted that bill to insurance company field adjuster and he immediately said "I can't tell you professionally what to do sir , but if they were in my home, I'd fire them for price gouging, which is illegal in an emergency situation in the state of Florida They're grossly overcharging you " and that's exactly what I did . This company is and was predatory contracting toward the elderly during a natural disaster. Transaction date: October 2022 (work performed mid-October; invoice issued 10/7/2022). Then Amount billed is $18,456.16 for only 4 days of work. Subtracting 7120 deposit As of this moment in time Olympus insurance is guaranteed this company remaining payment of 11,336 .16 to Eco Water and they have signed release form acknowledging satisfaction. --only engaging with the insurance company when demanding payment. They did not give her upfront estimates despite requests. Billing delayed 4 days with excuses ("printer problems"). Did not pull County permits The $18,456.16 invoice was deemed price gouging by the insurer--illegal in Florida during a declared emergency. Despite the insurance offering full prior payment right now and they have signed release, on September 9, 2025, the company filed a mechanic's lien, falsely swearing under oath they performed work in July 2025 at our home They have not been on the property done any work since October 2022. We even offered them a simultaneous exchange to meet them at the courthouse. They release the lien which allows us to have it in writing that the Lein is released and we hand them their check and they refuse to do that. They refuse to release the lien until the insurance settlement check clears their personal bank account, even though we have offered in writing to pay immediately upon lien removal. I hope people reading this do not have to go through this below in me now filing a legal complaint about this company Eco Water Restoration Nature of dispute: Fraudulent lien, Predatory contracting toward the elderly , price gouging, deception, no permits, delayed documentation, extortionate demand for payment before lien release. He inspected the closet area but did not go into the attic space above, which I felt should have also been inspected. In any case, he offered us advice on the best way to try and proceed. Unfortunately, the quote was very high- $2,600 for removal of a small area of dry wall ceiling (maybe 3x4). This quote only covered removal, meaning that we would be left with a gapping hole in the closet and would need to hire someone else to repair the area and spend who knows how much more. Yikes!! I don't know what the average price is for a job like this, and we are continuing to shop around. If money is not a factor for you, or your home owners insurance will pay for the repairs, then Safeway would probably be a good option for you. But if you are a working class individual paying out of pocket, Safeway may just be a little too expensive.
