Here is what happened: We came home late in the evening Thursday to a slow leak in our pressure regulator on our main waterline. So at 9:30a the next morning I called to see if Clark's Plumbing could help replace the part. Their receptionist answered quickly and checked to confirm their availability. Told me she had a technician available and they could do an appointment between 10a - noon or 12-4p. I took the 10a-12p. When I asked the price she checked and confirmed they had a $0 dispatch special going on but pricing would be covered by the technician. At 12:15p I called again to verify the appointment and get an update because neither the dispatcher or technician had reached out. This person seemed a little less aware of what was going on but stated that we were on the list and would be contacted. At 3:30p I called again. The phone rang for quite a while and when the person answered they didn't have any of my information to the point they confirmed this was for a plumbing service. Made me think this was just a contract call center that then forwards information to the company. She confirmed they would be in contact. I had to leave for work so I updated the contact number. I checked in with my wife that evening at 5:30 and 9p, not a phone call, text, or email. It's now Saturday and again nothing from Clark's Plumbing. I can't speak to the quality of their work because they never showed up and never contacted me about the appointment. Beyond disappointed.

    Be very careful with this company.... I let them take advantage of our family…read more TLDR: I believe they overcharged us. $409 for 5 seconds of diagnostics and 25 min of labor including 3 trips to the truck (one was to retrieve a replacement pin for one that had been dropped in to the wall), and a $60 part that they itemized as $340 on my bill. I called multiple times to speak with the field manager and was not able to connect with him. We had a leak in our shower that the technician with five seconds of looking at it determined he was 99% confident on what the issue was. He started repairs at 1:46 PM and finished at 2:11 PM with everything working. Our work starting window being (11-2pm) My issue comes with the fact that I think they overcharged us for the job that they did. After writing the check and thinking over the entire interaction, I began to feel very uneasy with how everything played out. I was not given a breakdown prior to the service beginning. Only a line on a phone to sign that I agreed to the price. I was not offered the opportunity to read what I was signing (nor did I ask, which is my fault.) no shoe covers were worn in our home which now has subsequent consequences for my time of needing to get out of the spot cleaner. Only after the project had been complete was I given an explanation of what labor went on (again my fault for not asking prior to). When I initially made the appointment, I was given the price for the service call, but I neglected to ask what their minimum job cost is (still not sure of what that is). Afterwards, I called the office trying to get a better idea of why the cost was so high. My frame of reference being that we had had a kitchen faucet and a disposal replaced within the last year with Fitzgerald and neither of these items including parts cost more than $400. The lady in the office was very kind and offered to put me in touch with the field manager. He did give me a call back after a few days however I was not in a place to chat with my Twins screaming in the backseat. I did call two other times to try and get in touch with him and have not received a call back to date. Overall, I learned a lot from this experience, and I believe it's important to share so that others understand how to advocate for themselves in an area in which they might not be technically skilled. Ultimately, they are well within their right to cash my check because I did agree to the price. I however will be asking a lot more questions next time, and probably be seeking a different company. I took their marketing for face value and feel like stewardship was mishandled. Our technician rusty was great! Very respectful that we had three children napping when he came to do repairs. After the repair, he explained to me what he did. Was very courteous to me. My only qualm was that he did not wear shoe covers and our home and had to walk through our master bedroom that has beige carpet and I will need to get out our spot cleaner to clean this up.

I felt really comfortable with them in my home. I will be using HIS plumbing again for any future needs!!
