We had this company put in our pool 6 years ago. Nothing but problems from the get go. We are trying to sell and now closing is held up because they have 3 EXPIRED PERMITS WITH BAY COUNTY! Now we have to chase them to send in writing to the county to reopen permits and complete inspection before they can be closed out! Sounds like attorney will be involved. read more

Really very happy we used them. They built our 15x30 pool with a tanning ledge. We did not have them do the surrounding patio. The pool was raised about 20" above the natural grade, so the project was a little more complicated than normal. Waterclear coordinated construction details with our patio contractor to make sure the final level was exactly where we wanted it. From start to finish it was about 3 months, which was faster than we expected. Their employees & subs seemed very competent & we had no issues with their work. Todd, the sales rep, always answered my calls/texts immediately or within a reasonable time. Would absolutely recommend. I know there are negative reviews, but honestly in our research trying to choose a contractor, every contractor we looked at had someone who didn't like them. With 20/20 hindsight, we think we chose the right contractor. read more

Timmy and crew just finished inst replacement jets in our spa. Timmy is a true professional who clearly has 'satisfied customer' at the top of his list of priorities. He came by several days ago when I requested help on operating my pool equipment. Not only did he show me how to operate the app, he also checked all the equipment and valves to make sure they were working properly. He found a couple of issues that needed attention and immediately went to work to correct them. If you want quality and good customer service DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. Here are some but not everything with our pool project. This whole process has been a nightmare. Here we are 14 weeks into the initial dig and 6 months from initial payment. We were told this would take 10 weeks. - December 2020 urged to pay 6K to lock in price - Permit filed December 31st, county said there needed to be revisions which were not resubmitted for over 60 days - After a long wait with little follow up, I called the project manager to move on from Waterclear, was told I'd lose 500 dollars. The next day the permit was approved. - Permit finally approved March 16th 2021 - April 2nd 2021 first dig - ACH rejected on your end twice, cost me 60 dollars to resubmit wire transfers - Air conditioning power shut off accidentally in our home by the workers for 3 days - Circuit breakers exposed and blown (Robert replaced one of them)  - Power to Irrigation off for over 70 days (made countless request to have it turned back on). I had to painstakingly Hand watered my lawn every night during this time frame, water bill went up $235. - Unprofessionalism by staff, unreturned calls/text, gossip, pressure about payment, no respect for our property. - Countless no shows on days were weather was not a factor - Trash visible from the front of my house throughout the duration of the project - Standing water in pool with trash in it - Rocks and concrete spread throughout my entire yard. It Will be very difficult to resod these areas. - Loose wood seen from the front of my yard (at least 2 months)a nd left there through storms. Ignored about my concerns when I texted the project manager. -Live wire in the back yard near puddles. Danger to myself, dog and family. - Told original tile requested (Azul) was not in stock and pressured to take a tile. Only to find out that once that tile arrived they didn't have enough and had ordered half of the wrong tile. Prolonged completion of the pool. - Issues with the county and permit about pool pressure and drains being 3 feet apart on May 4th, still not corrected. read more

So because of their inferior work our pool was closed by the health department. We had an ongoing problem with not showing up and inferior service when they did show up. I discovered that they had been over charging us for months. read more

Worst company I have ever encountered. I had several issues with my new pool and they were not interested in making it right. Never responded to my concerns. Workmanship was inferior; I had rust spots immediately after construction. I had to take legal action against the builder to get a resolution. read more

We hired Waterclear pools to resurface a small beachfront pool including tiling the pool terrace and 2 additional terraces. The ecofinish resurfacing came with a 10yr warranty that made us feel good but unfortunately it took only 10months to request warranty service. The pool surface was cracking, had bleed through and was fading significantly. After many attempts to reach the Waterclear employee (related to owner) we had dealt with, we were told that the resurfacing had not been done correctly and would need to be re-done including the tile/grout around the top of the pool that had incorrectly been covered. Again, after many attempts to arrange this work, Waterclear could only schedule the work after the rental season was in full swing, so we blocked off the requested days for the work to be performed. We provided contact information to Waterclear and our property managers to ensure the work was coordinated and completed. A week out, our property managers were unable to reach or get a return call from Waterclear and we unfortunately found ourselves chasing them again. We eventually received assurances the work would be completed. Well, the reserved days arrived and fortunately the resurfacing was done by a 3rd party (who had been given no information by Waterclear on how to coordinate his visit) but we continued to chase Waterclear to complete the tile work for the 3 days our home was reserved for them. We received assurances right up to about 1hour from our next guests checking in and the work remains unfinished and an eyesore. Waterclear has now stopped responding to our attempts to address the problem, so we are now working through our credit card companies to recoup the appropriate expenses. If that fails, we'll unfortunately have to file a claim to get this resolved. I would suggest that anyone thinking of using this company look at ALL on-line reviews you can find and trust your gut when reading them. read more
