If you're looking for a pool company that takes your aquatic sanctuary from 'meh' to 'heck yeah,' then Swym Wyse is the Michael Phelps of pool perfection. Picture this: dolphins high-fiving each other as they gracefully leap through your crystal-clear water - that's the kind of magic these folks work. The Einstein of Clean: Swym Wyse isn't just a pool company; they're the Einstein of clean. Their field technicians are CPO Certified (Certified Pool Operators), which is basically a fancy way of saying they have PhDs in pool purity. These technicians approach your pool with the precision of a brain surgeon and the enthusiasm of a kid in a candy store - because, let's be honest, who wouldn't be excited about a pool candy store? Trust the Swym Wyse Wizards: The team at Swym Wyse are the Gandalfs of the pool world. They wave their magic wands (or pool skimmers) and, poof, your pool is transformed into a haven of aquatic awesomeness. It's like they sprinkle a bit of fairy dust into the water - except it's not fairy dust, it's expertise. And maybe a touch of chlorine. In conclusion, if your pool is feeling a bit lackluster, call Swym Wyse. They'll turn your backyard into a water wonderland faster than you can say "Marco Polo!" ‍

I hired Pinch A Penny on Highway 77 in Lynn Haven to service my brand new pool, and in the…read morebeginning everything seemed fine. For $130 a month, all they really had to do was empty two baskets and keep the chemistry in line. That should not have been difficult. Then their staffing problems started, and the whole thing went downhill fast. They sent out people who clearly had little to no real pool knowledge. One of them might as well have listed "I have a saltwater fish tank" as his top qualification. They could not answer basic questions about my pool equipment, and I knew more than the people they were sending to my house. When I asked to have those employees removed from my account and replaced with someone who actually knew pools, apparently that hurt some feelings. It got even worse when I realized that when they did not think they were being watched, they were not even doing the basic job they were hired to do. I have security camera footage of one of these inexperienced young guys showing up, spending about two minutes total at my house, emptying one basket, never emptying the other basket for the filter, taking a picture of the pool, and leaving. That was it. In and out, just long enough to pretend he had done something. If that is their idea of professional pool service, that tells you everything you need to know. The final straw was a Hayward salt cell warranty issue. My pool is only a few months old, and the cell was under warranty for labor and parts. Hayward had already indicated the cell was bad. This Pinch A Penny location is listed as an authorized Hayward service center, yet instead of actually providing service, they started pissing, moaning, and crying about how Hayward supposedly does not pay them enough, boo hoo, blah blah blah, yada yada yada. Then they told me I would have to pay a $160 service call unless I removed the cell myself and brought it in to them. That is not service. That is laziness mixed with attitude. Then came the best part. Because I complained about the inexperienced techs they sent and expected better service, they dropped me as a customer altogether. I was basically told they can choose who they want to service, and since I was one of their lower paying accounts, they cut me loose. That tells you everything you need to know about their professionalism and how much they value customers. The attitude on the phone was arrogant, dismissive, and standoffish from start to finish. When I said I would be leaving a review, I was told, "Everybody loves us. We have great reviews." Well, here is one they are not going to love. If you want a pool company that is knowledgeable, professional, and actually stands behind the service they advertise, look elsewhere. Based on my experience, this location is badly managed, poorly staffed, and absolutely not a company I would recommend to anyone.

Deveid, our tile/travertine guy took his time and communicated with us every step of the way. He made sure we were happy with his work. Sean was our sales guy, who was laid back and easy to work with, not pushy. Morgan, in the office, guided us through the design process and picking out the things we wanted with great patience...we changed our minds on things and she was so graceful. Jaxon was our project manager and did a great job of showing up, confirming we were pleased with the work being done and getting things moving along, taken care of through it all. The pool looks beautiful and we are quite happy with the work they did and the people we worked with.

To reply to blue havens reply…read more Yes I met with Thomas twice to go over issues. And yes they tried to resolve some of them. And did successfully resolve some. Several issues Thomas offered nothing to correct. Some he said he could but I'd go months longer without my pool. As for the leak detection after replaster they are claiming they did. That's a bold face lie. Which it typical of blue haven employees. I asked for a leak detection due to loosing several inches of a water a day. I was told I to fill out a form stating I would pay for the leak detection if no leak was found and it would be up to $600. I refused to do that and showed them the leak myself which was a hole in the new plaster that they had already tried to patch twice. You did replace two patches of sod in my and my neighbors yard after your sub ran his can through my and my neighbors yard after a hard rain for no reason severely damaging both yards. However the time a different sub destroyed my other neighbors yard y'all did nothing to help there. I had to fix those damages myself. Y'all did a crap job and you know it. Even your own staff has admitted it. Honestly y'all's dishonesty and unprofessionalism is worse than the poor work yall performed.

We have used ASP for weekly cleaning service for about two years and we don't have much of anything…read moreto complain about as far as that is concerned. Brian (our regular pool maintenance guy) is great and knows what he is doing. That being said, we hired ASP for a pool resurfacing and deck refinishing/repainting job that was supposed to be "two days" and it lasted for roughly 50 days. The job site was left filthy and the decking repair that was contracted out by ASP was a disaster. They used the wrong color, left footprints in the paint, trashed everything, and ruined my handrails during their 3rd clean-up process, scrubbing them so hard they rubbed the chrome off and left them scratched and rusty and then blamed us for it and said, "that's how they were when we started." A father-son duo even got into a fight in the middle of my driveway. This of course was unnecessary and freaked my little kids out as they heard the commotion from our living room. Fighting on the jobsite is a joke and should NEVER happen. I showed the owner of ASP pictures of the handrails prior to the cleanup process and I have yet to hear anything back. It has been another month so I guess we are out of luck as I was told at that time, "I don't know how to fix that." Additionally, the contractors that ASP hired to resurface the pool brought all of their children to the jobsite and hung on my gutters like they were doing pullups, ran around my drained pool like lunatics, and left trash in my backyard during their lunch. ASP did come out and clean it up after I provided pictures of the mess but none of that should have been allowed to happen in the first place. As far as the owner of the company is concerned, I specifically wrote him to NOT send anyone else out to my home and that I wanted to see and deal with him directly due to the extremely poor experience that we have had during the entire process. He has yet to step foot on my property and sent out other workers in spite of my requests. They only thing they have been prompt on is billing me $180/month for service, regardless of whether they come out to maintain the pool or not each week. If I was able to break up my star rating into two categories, I would. I would give BRIAN (the weekly service tech) 5-stars and I would give the actual company 1-star due to extremely poor professionalism and delayed completion of work. At this point, there is nothing left for me to do as they refuse to take responsibility for the damage done to the chrome handrails. I'm not sure our experience would be better with another company considering contractors seem to be hit-or-miss in this area but I do not recommend ASP for deck resurfacing or pool refinishing projects. I guess only time will tell as to whether or not the quality of the work will last. Recently, they have increased their price to $225/month for regular standard pool service. We had to part ways.
