Dr. Aslan is one of the best people out there. He and his practice really care about the well-being of their clients. I found this place by buying a Groupon for a massage, consultation, and x-ray, for $49, for my boyfriend. He had very frequent migraines and really bad back pain. We went into this practice, everyone was very friendly and welcoming. He was consulted and they showed what his spine looked like and educated us on how to improve health and how joining the practice would help. My boyfriend decided to join the program and has not had migraines or severe back pain since. His spine looks much better. I even ended up joining myself. Great experience. Had frozen shoulder that was totally debilitating. I had a choice between surgery to relieve the pain or working through it with Dr. Stacy's wholistic approach. Amazing. Gentle doctor, extremely friendly and knowledgeable staff, super accommodating office and effective drug and surgery free pain relief. I suffered from terrible headaches from the time I woke up in the morning for 2 1/2 years. They had an effect on driving, my job , my social life. I went to at least 7 doctors: neurologists, ENTs, allergists; I had MRIs, CT scans, blood tests, etc., and tried countless meds. NOBODY could find a reason or an effective treatment. It was a guessing game. Dr. Aslan pinpointed the area causing my pain and also showed me how crooked and squished my spine and body were. Everything in my body was off, I suffered not only from headaches but depression, GERD and neck and back pain as well. After only two adjustments, I had a 50% decrease in the frequency of my headaches that week. After two more adjustments, they were gone. It's only been about a month so far, but I have increased ROM in my neck, my mood is better and I have had maybe one very mild headache. I can't say enough! I feel like a new person. read more

Dr. Aslan has helped improve my life. Period. About a year and half ago I started experiencing extreme discomfort in my mid back. This "discomfort" eventually turned into an extremely stabbing pain. After approaching my MD about it I was referred to a "spinal specialist". I went to see the specialist hoping to get answers about why a 27 yr old, who had never been in any serious accidents, was unable to drive, sit or stand for more than 30 minutes without feeling like I needed to lay down and put on an ice pack. However, after three visits and approx. 2,500$ later, I walked out with no answers. Unfortunately, the pain was still there and getting worse. I made the decision to go to Waterfront Chiropractic. From day 1, Dr. Stacy and his group helped explain what was going on and how we were going to help it. I was happy to feel like I was on a "team" and that someone finally cared about my pain much as I did. Every time I visit, I am greeted with a smile and a "how you feeling". There are times where I don't know where the pain is coming from and Dr. Stacy evaluates my back, adjusts the exact source of pain and brings me relief. I always leave feeling better. Dr. Stacy Aslan at Waterfront Chiropractor has helped my back. He also fixed my frozen shoulder. But the most remarkable thing he has done for me is to help me with my tics. A couple of years ago, out of nowhere, I started having tics: verbal tics that range from chirping to hooting like a monkey, sometimes stuttering and occasional long, held tones. In addition to the vocal tics, I have physical tics that include facial grimacing and head jerking. The tics wax and wane; sometimes they are inactive for weeks, and then suddenly they take wake up again - LOUDLY. I never know when my tics might start up in the middle of a class, or a movie, or a conversation. I went to the regular doctor. He told me I had the hiccups. I saw a neurologist, who saw nothing wrong with my "beautiful" brain (as he called it) and my psychiatrist put me on a series of anti-psychotic drugs including Risperdol, Haldol, Lorazepan and Clonodine. One day a couple of months ago I was ticcing when I went to Waterfront Chiropractic for my regular adjustment. Dr. Aslan adjusted me in a way that he had , never done before. The tic stopped. I've dealt with back issues most of my adult life, and after an Incident shoveling snow I had two choices... hospital where all they would do is medicate me and send me home with a bill for thousands of dollars... or seek help with Dr. Aslan. I was hit by a truck on I295, a mile from Throgs Neck Bridge and could not bend nor turn my head to the right. I could not bend my right hand to touch or scratch my back either. I almost gave up. Horrible. Got a groupon for a massage. Had been there about 2 years ago. They told me it was for new customers only. I explained the groupon said none of that. They told me its their policy, and they will fix the groupon ad. I asked what to do with my groupon... they told me it was my problem and maybe I should contact groupon. I explained that it was there problem with false advertising, and they need to contact groupon, but they should honor what they sold and I bought. Obvious scam. They had no problem with me uintil I told them I didnt need the chiropractic check up, I just wanted the massage. read more

I have been coming to Waterfront Chiropractic for over 3 years on and off. The 1st time I came here I was in very bad shape, could barley bend down, sit in my truck, get a good night sleep and tie my shoes. After seeing a Orthopaedic, who hade me start physical therapy and doing that for over 5 months with no relief, I was starting to give up that my back won't get better.Then a friend of mine asked if I every tried a tried a chiropractor ? Said no and he said give it try and recommended Dr.Aslan. It was the best choice I made for my back. I went in the first time and got a evaluation, and a corrective action plan to get my back in better shape. After a couple of weeks of following Dr. Aslan's plan I was starting to feel better!!! This review is on behalf of my father who was experiencing extreme debilitating pain. We had tried a previous "chiropractor" who had done nothing but massage and electo stim. While it relieved the discomfort to some degree he did not try to diagnose the cause which cause my father's pain to come back with a vengeance. I had done some research and heard things about the Gonstead method and Waterfront Chiropractic was one of the few Gonstead clinics close to our area. Dr. Aslan gave my father a thorough examination which included an exam, x-ray and an explicit description of where the pain was coming from as well as other problem areas. After Dr. Aslan adjusted him he felt almost immediate relief and was able to walk with minimal support. Before he was barely able to walk or stand without clutching to me for support.
