George Gomes answered the phone and offered to come out to my house on 08/28/24- that day wasn't good for me, so George offered to come out same day (08/26/24) since I was already home. George turned up right near the beginning of the 3-4 p.m. window that he advised, he looked at our pool and pool accessories and discussed options with my wife and I. He answered all of our questions, he was not in a rush, and he explained whatever we didn't understand initially. We asked for a written quotation and got it later that same day. We previously made numerous phone calls and received other estimates and experiences as a reference. Eagle Pools was the best experience and so, it was a quick/easy decision to go with them. We made the 50% deposit on 08/27/24, the pool heater and concrete slab were delivered to our house on 08/28/24 for the 08/30/24 install that I requested. On the evening of 08/29/24, George let us know that the technicians would be at our house between 08:30-09:30 a.m. on 08/30/24. They were in my driveway at 08:45. They double-checked where we wanted to install the heater, discussed options and got to work. At 10:00 a.m. they were done. Initially, when they called me, I thought that they had a question or needed something. I was pleasantly surprised that they were calling me to give me a quick tutorial and to hand over the paperwork for the unit. We have lived in multiple states all over the U.S. and this experience would have been excellent anywhere. However, it stands out even more here in South Florida where people don't turn up when they say they will, or do what they said they would, or turn up without everything needed for the job. Eagle Pools turned up when they said they would, they did what they said they would at exactly the price that was quoted initially. The technicians turned up for the installation with all the parts and tools needed for the job. A few hours after the installation, I had questions about the unit and messaged George. Fifteen minutes later, he called me on a conference call with a technician and they answered all my questions. I haven't needed to call since. We are thoroughly impressed!

(certified pool & spa operators).. A very difficult test to pass, which is basically chemistry & math, from the state of Florida. What I have found is almost every company, the owner is certified, then everybody else they just teach them how to add chemicals here & there; this company has turned my pool around in one week.!!! For two months, John ignored my requests to fix their mistake. Didn't show up to appointments. Ignored my texts. When you try to call, their VM is full, so you can't leave a message. I finally went to the store, but Paul claimed he didn't know anything and was extremely disrespectful. Told me to leave the store after I asked for the names of the owners. Took my name and number and said someone would call me, but of course they never did. After spending thousands of dollars, I'm left with a huge stain the entire length of my pool. In addition... I hired them to clean the pool. They didn't show up for weeks and the pool turned green. Algae grew on the surface. When John finally did show up, he forgot to bring a vacuum. Really? He said he would go to the store to pick it up and come back, but he never returned. Again, I paid for a service which I did not receive. The list of complaints can go on and on. John seemed like a really nice guy at first, but once I paid in full and had an issue, they disappeared. Horrible customer service. Not professional. Unfortunately, it appears that the only way to resolve the issue is to sue them.

We had a significant leak in our pool requiring additional water every day. They correctly…read moreidentified multiple leaks in the skimmer basket and return line in the side of the pool. They also put in a fix at no extra charge (part of their leak detection service) and while they warned us this was a temporary fix they did not pressure us to spend 5x more on the permanent fix they provided as an estimate. Now we are coming up on a year and their "temporary" fix is starting to wane and we will be requesting a second opinion on the replacement cost for the skimmer basket. My wife and I were very happy with their service and will likely give them a chance to beat any 2nd opinion.

I'm writing this review even though I never heard of them or directly hired them! I hired a…read morecontractor to install travertine pavers, pool tile and resurface our pool. The contractor learned that since his company wasn't trained/accredited to apply the PebbleTec PebbleBrilliance pool surface material, he had to hire one of two companies in south FL who are authorized to do the work. Florida Pool Surfaces was one of the companies! You should rub me for luck because I'm very, very fortunate the contractor hired this company! Jason came to see the pool first - he drained the water at the base of the pool (we filled it so it wouldn't pop from pressure), he checked out the bonding on the pool surface and added more bonding agent to help ensure good adherence with the surface material. He told me to expect another crew to come to apply the PebbleTec material. What is PebbleTec material? It's the coolest thing, ever. Our surface has small pebbles and glass beads, so the pool looks like a natural swimming hole with water sparkling top to bottom. Really! Look at the pics and you'll see why this is not the Diamondbrite/Marcite of yesteryear! It's not a color on pool walls - it's an organic-looking, shimmering pool surface material. The application crew rolled in on a huge truck of supplies - think 18 wheeler - and pick up truck filled with muriatic acid. They covered the travertine floor and coping around the pool and then sprayed PebbleTec's PebbleBrilliance product onto the pool walls. They patted the sprayed material into the pool crevices. In 5 hours' time, the pool was completely done, the floors around the pool were pristine and they were back on their truck. They were like magic creatures, transforming a gray bonded pool surface into a jewel-tone stunner. PebbleTec only warranties pool surfaces that are installed by companies whose people were trained on their application techniques. At work completion, we registered the warranty on their site (it's a 25 year warranty). Our pool service company treated the filtered water used to fill the pool. They and my husband will brush the pool surface every day during the first 2 weeks. The pool company will keep checking the pH for the next 2 weeks and add acid as needed. It's labor-intensive initially, but the pool surface will last for decades to come. Now we look forward to waking up and opening the window treatment or walking the dog! Any excuse to see the pool works for us! We're DAZZLED by the look of the material and the quick, professional, spotlessly clean way Florida Pool Surfaces' people worked. No wonder PebbleTec trusts them to do the work - we do too!
