HORRIBLE! First of all, I hired them to re-Diamonbrite my pool. They poured acid on the new surface and stained the entire bottom of the pool. For two months, John ignored my requests to fix their mistake. Didn't show up to appointments. Ignored my texts. When you try to call, their VM is full, so you can't leave a message. I finally went to the store, but Paul claimed he didn't know anything and was extremely disrespectful. Told me to leave the store after I asked for the names of the owners. Took my name and number and said someone would call me, but of course they never did. After spending thousands of dollars, I'm left with a huge stain the entire length of my pool. In addition... I hired them to clean the pool. They didn't show up for weeks and the pool turned green. Algae grew on the surface. When John finally did show up, he forgot to bring a vacuum. Really? He said he would go to the store to pick it up and come back, but he never returned. Again, I paid for a service which I did not receive. The list of complaints can go on and on. John seemed like a really nice guy at first, but once I paid in full and had an issue, they disappeared. Horrible customer service. Not professional. Unfortunately, it appears that the only way to resolve the issue is to sue them. read more

Live locally and decided to come here for a vacuum and a skimmer. John was extremely helpful. I moved into a house with a pool and have no prior pool care experience. John was very patient and answered any questions I had. I showed up before store hours and he opened the store early in order to help. Service like this is hard to find. Great service and awesome staff. They are open on Sunday's and give you real quality one on one lessons on how to maintain the pool. Will not use them for all my needs for my pool. went to buy a pool skimmer basket rubber seal. was charged 16 dollars for a 4.99 seal. Went to pincha penny and found the same seal for 4.99. I dont mind paying a little more for an item being it supports the littlwe guy but 4 times the price is crazy. I will be going to pinch a penny from now on for the major stuff. I left a message to work the issue out but they never cared to call so its their loss. read more

I shop a few stores down at Publix and I never noticed PH. I'm glad I did. I went in and met John. I needed to upgrade my filter and pump. This is a costly item. I wanted to make sure I did business with the right people. I believe in the old cliche "measure twice cut once". I take that to mean check on the people who you do business with. I just purchased a house in Winston Park with a nice blue pool , after closing I opened the door and found a dark green pool. I went into PH Pool and Spa and explained I'm a pool novice but want to learn how to care for the pool myself. I met with Jon who was very helpful and friendly. I was looking for a robotic pool cleaner and decided on the Maytronics Supreme M500. Now it was a question of where to buy because it has to be a Maytronics authorized dealer to get the 3 year bumper-to-bumper warranty. Seems like everyone wanted to use a cheaper model, which could be bought on the internet, called the Z5. But I wanted the Supreme M500 as its a better unit and has a better warranty. A search of the Maytronics web site for authorized dealers (must be authorized to sell the M500 to get 3 year bumper-to-bumper warranty) is where I started; using my Fort Lauderdale, FL home as the search center. This led me to PH Pool and Spa Supplies. Called them and spoke with John. John was a great help and I ordered the M500 from their web site to ship to Fort Lauderdale (save me at trip-and pricing was just as good as any other internet site I looked at-but PH is an authorized dealer-very important). M500 arrived in just two days-outstanding order-to-arrival time. I assembled and started using it-works perfect. To clarify warranty registration and what I needed to do if I needed service I called again and spoke with Jeffrey. Again I found Jeff was a great help and that when service on the M500 is needed these guys will stand behind the product. All-in-all if you are looking for a super robotic pool cleaner with an outstanding bumper-to-bumper warranty for 3 years PH Pool and Spa Supplies is the best place I found which has the Supreme M500. From PH you can expect and you will receive an excellent price, great service, and quick shipping. When you need service I also expect PH will be top notch but with the M500 service should be far into the future. read more

We had two recent experiences with PH Pool and Spa, and could not be more pleased! We initially visited their store to check out the Dolphin automatic pool cleaners - I had done some research online and they were listed as an authorized retailer. We walked in and met John, who took us through the ins and outs of our options based on our budget. You could tell he knew what he was talking about and he made us feel comfortable, didn't try to sell us. We had a Dolphin Echo two days later and we were amazed how clean it made our water. Apart from the leaves we were struggling to keep up with, it cleaned the tiniest particles of dirt out of the water that we had no idea were even there. It worked exactly as John said it would. Soon after, we had them come out to our house to take a look at our pool equipment, as we knew it needed somewhat of an overhaul. Within a day, they presented us a few proposals for new equipment - pump, heater, and salt system with automation. They were extremely patient with us, and very consultative, as we went back and forth deciding what options we needed, and what we could live without. Their focus the entire time was to make sure they worked within our budget and that, in the end, we had the system that WE wanted. Less than a week later, they completed the installation and we've really been enjoying our pool and spa ever since. I can't say enough about John, Jeff, Robbie, and Danny. OK, based on the great reviews here, I was willing to get them to install a new variable speed pump and a new skimmer. In the store, I was greeted by a lady that clearly did not know what a variable speed pump was. She pointed at two pumps, none of which were variable speed (a vsp was right next to it). She typed sth in the computer and gave me a price of 349 and 365 for the pumps (which confirmed that they are not vsp), and I asked her which models these were so that I could do my own research and decide on one. She got angry and asked me if I was here to purchase or to figure out prices that I could send to competitors. Then I listened to the riot act that they dont match prices (I would have been very willing to pay more for a good service, that's why I entered this store in the first place). This is the worst experience that I have had in stores like this. 1) If you dont know what you are talking about, just tell me when I can come it to talk to someone who does know about pumps, 2) Who buys a pump without knowing which model it is? 349? Sounds great, I'll buy it, doesnt matter what it is.... read more

PH started to clean our pool on a weekly basis and it looked much better after their very first visit (Robbie does our weekly service)! We also stopped by the store and they immediately knew who we were, they are super warm and welcoming. You can tell John and Jeff care about the business and care about customer service.
