He also was upset that I talked with my neighbor, an expert in the fencing business (retired due to illness) to get info and he offered to come over a couple of times during the day to check things out. He got very angry with me and was extremely ugly. I let him know that he should not use me as a reference - and he said he didn't need any references as he has plenty of large commercial jobs! OH, and he also said I was racist because I didn't offer them bottles of water during the day... I pointed out to him that I have 15 Hispanic grandchildren, 3 Hispanic great grands, and a Chinese daughter. I also told him that the professional, respectful people who re-roofed my house got a cold beer at the end of each day! He obviously couldn't handle me getting advice from someone more knowledgeable than he (who used to be his boss)... A few pictures attached. One more thing, I should have known not to hire him as he did a gate for me a little over a year ago that was sloppy at best and it was already detaching from the side of the house.
