A rough transition to new ownership (Brio Water) caused me some problems with the company, but they have since taken care of those issues. The water and delivery is inexpensive, and is always consistent. It's hard to start a business (or to take over an existing one), and I want small businesses to succeed, so I will probably stick with this company. I come here often & always fill up my stamp card to get a free gallon. I always use my debit card so I don't check what I was charged I just always assumed they charged me my one gallon and gave me my second for free! Today I decided to browse my transactions and wow! I realized they charged me for both gallons.. now I have trust issues, how many other times did they do this ? And I didn't check .. Gamechanger! We've been faithfully trusting our Hawaiian water store in Lancaster, CA for over 20 years, only to find out they've been selling us Aquafina battery acid all this time! I was shocked -- SHOCKED -- to see the PH level come up dark yellow, almost orange, looking more like a bodily fluid than a healthy beverage. Thanks to John at Waterland, I was able to test a whole range of waters we drink and come to my own conclusions. We want alkaline!!! Since my visit to Waterland I've bought my own testing supplies and made my own discoveries, turning my world upside down. From now on, my approach to health will never be the same. This is the best alkaline water I have found within a 25 min radius of my home and now they deliver! I hv been driving to Pasadena for over 5 years to get my water here. I'd try closer water shops, but my 65 yr old Japanese dog walker and my 13 yr Chinese hairless boycotts it every time. T won't drink it and Kumi let's me know right away that the water tastes different and she likes the other 1 better!Now my fav alkaline water shop delivers! I've been having them deliver to me for over 2 months now. Alfonso is great and the delivery crew is polite and efficient! It is so convenient and if I'm away for the holidays I just call and they make the change. I love that there is a small business that can compete with arrowhead or any large corporate water delivery companies. Great place to get water, love that you can get a stamp card and get your 10th fill-up free. I've tried the Alkaline water and it's okay, a bit pricey for $1.00 a gallon. Honestly I like the taste of the basic water they sell inside. Overall this is where I bring my three 5 gallon water bottles to get filled up. They also have convenient hours from 9am-9pm but they only have three parking spots and since it shares its space with a gas station it can get crowded. read more

I'm new to the area and the water from my tap is too gross to drink and a 6-month filter for the fridge in our apartment is $40 for the cheap one. No thanks. I stumbled across this oasis of delicious agua just walking around the neighborhood. The people are nice. I tried the three different kinds of water they have and I'm fine with just the basic 30 cents/gallon reverse osmosis water. I had to buy a container (3 gallon fridge container with spigot, BPA free for $25) but I'm saving money over what I would pay a big water company to deliver or even over buying gallon-jugs of grocery store-brand water. And it always feels good to buy local. The $1/gallon PH-alkaline water they have is also good. They have a specialty $3/gallon alkaline water machine but I didn't like the taste of that water as much. Plus I'm cheap. So 90 cents for a fridge full of delicious water is awesome. read more

After being a loyal customer for close to 2 years I had a very bad experience here. I think this place is under new management. For the last 2 weeks, I was informed the Kangan machine (9.5) was out of order. Three days ago I called ahead to see if the machine was back in order. After being told it was, I took my bottles in for refills. When I got the bottles home I poured myself a glass. The water had a noticeable chlorine taste. I had a friend drink some to get their opinion. She noticed it too. This morning I called Waterland about the problem. The person I talked to told me to bring the unused water and my bottles back and they would replace the bad water. The person I talked to said he was ending his shift but he would tell the next shift operator about the problem and to replace my water at no charge. When I got there I explained the circumstances to this new operator whom I had only seen once before. He sniffed one bottle and said maybe the bottles hadn't been rinsed thoroughly. He had forgotten that he was the one who had rinsed and refilled my bottles earlier in the week. He was very rude and unfriendly as he reluctantly refilled my bottles and shoved them to me. He didn't extend the common courtesy of towel drying the outside of my bottles, which were soaking wet, as every employee had always done in the past. I used the paper towels on the counter and dried my own bottles to keep from getting my car seats all wet. When I mentioned it was unusual to have to dry my own bottles, he got angry and told me he should charge me for the water. Mind you I was returning 4 1/2 gallons and was only receiving 5 gallons. He's telling me he should charge me for 5 gallons over a net 1/2 gallon! When I told him I was going to file a complaint about him he said he was the manager! They've lost a loyal customer and I don't believe I'll be the last. read more

Super nice people and open later than most places, this destination for reverse osmosis or RO water does not disappoint. The staff are super helpful and cool. The interior is clean and gives one confidence that their water is of excellent quality. I use my RO water for my aquarium, so I would notice right away if the water was not good. It's good water and they have two dedicated parking spots (one for handicapped) next to the gas station. Highly recommended. read more

I did multiple research online and i found this place in particular to be the best. They have 2 brand alkaline waters, both really good. I decided to try out the kangen water for once. GREAT AND FRIENDLY CUSTOMER SERVICE! FANTASTIC PRICES! TEN STARS! I went there today for the second time to get alkaline water. It's $1 a gallon, which is a great price. The alkaline water that they have is tasty and has helped my respiratory problem (it's the one on the left as you enter, not the Kangen). I don't cough nearly as much. My problem developed from having pneumonia and bronchitis many times in the past. I brought a cart for my 5 gallon bottle, but the guy working there offered to put it in my car, which I accepted. I mentioned that I've had a hard time finding the BPA-free water bottles at a reasonable price in stores or on the internet (I'll need a few of them). He said that he has seen the BPA-free ones at Big Lots for about $5., much lower than what I've seen elsewhere. He speaks English fluently, which makes it easier to communicate. I had a very bad experience at Wateria today, which I won't go into in this review. If you are interested, take a look at my review of Wateria here on Yelp. I highly recommend Waterland!!! Update 8/2/14: I still go there to get the alkaline water. The prices and service are still great. They recently made improvements with a new floor, paint, etc. Big Lots didn't have the BPA-free water bottles when I went there, but I did find some on Amazon. I bought a 5 gallon with a spigot for home and three 2 gallon ones which I take to Waterland as it's easier to carry the smaller ones. In fact, I'm going to go there today. read more

My family and I were happy to find this place. We need alkaline water for health reasons. The men who work there are kind and helpful except for Pedro, with whom I had two hostile experiences. My 7 year old insisted on carrying in our empty jug the other day. I was behind her, getting our stamp card from my car. Before I made it into the store, the water was already being filled. As I waited, I noticed it was not being filled with our usual alkaline water. When I asked about this, the jug was nearly full and Pedro simply switched it to the right (alkaline) tap and finished filling it. I was stunned. When I objected he said, "It doesn't really make a difference." Really? Then why sell the stuff for several dollars more? When I objected again he said that I never said what I wanted. My mind was spinning: he was filling the jug before I walked in. He simply took the jug out of the hands of a child and started filling. Aside from one customer who was leaving we were the only people in there, so I don't know what the rush was. But even if it was busy, if my child hadn't spoken up or loudly enough, he could have asked me about 2.5 seconds later. When I came in. Pedro kept arguing instead of offering to refill it. I don't even know WHY he was arguing. It was all so silly and could have been funny if he was not aggressive, hostile, and argumentative. If I had not been with my child, I would have insisted he empty our container and start over. As it is my child was becoming distressed, as was I. I went back later alone to speak to him and received no apology or explanation, only the same hostile, angry attitude. It was a really awful, bewildering experience. read more
