We decided To call Terrell brothers since (thats who we always call) and we have completely regretted it. They sent a technician out on a Friday ...that definitely did not know how to do his job. Once the tech came to the house (I assumed the office told him what was going on) but he asked what was going on, as if he didnt know why he came to my house. After we discussed what has been going on before talking to me about what he was going to do.... he kept The power to the AC on and decided to mess with the wires. As I'm working at home I hear a BOOM and sounded like air shooting out. Lo and behold he tried to "fix" the ground wire while there was still power going to it. Once the tech came back inside he did not speak a WORD about the boom that just happened outside, just kinda crept past me to walk back out to his truck. Once he walked back into my house I had asked him if the boom was a good or a bad boom... and he responds with "well it was bad, your compressor just exploded. Your gonna need a whole new compressor or a new unit." and shrugged it off. Decided to get a ladder and go up into my attic (to double check he didn't mess something with my heater up) to come back down and tell me that he will have the office do some research on new compressors and units. Before leaving he proceeded to tell me that even though my AC didnt work, I had heat and if he didn't realize we live in GA. I don't need the heat. ‍ after all this the "tech" had left my house and left me with a broken AC and said "hey you have heat!" ... Once I had finally received a call from the office the lady I spoke with she gave me a huge attitude... I had tried explaining that one of their techs just left me without AC (who wouldn't be mad?) but she didn't wanna hear it because the tech had a whole different story for her. Next day, we had opened our breaker door to find the labels for the AC torn off and the breaker for the broken AC was still ON! The "company" wouldnt even help us with THEIR f*ck up they told us to pound some sand and deal with it. Will never EVER call this company for anything again. They shouldn't hire dumbasses to touch live wires, and should actually hire people that know how to do their job. Thank you Terrell Brothers for leaving me without AC in 85° heat. You truly suck.

She used this company, as opposed to her usual "contractors"....very uncredible people. so, when these guys pulled up, I of course, of expecting the 7 drwarfs or something to start unloading out the back of the van. BUT, to my (pleasant) surprise....I have professional, thourough gentleman who couldn't have been nicer and of course, had great reviews online as well (you KNOW I had to check em out before hand) so by the end of their visit, they fixed our issue w/ no "BS". For the first time since living in this state, I can safely say I had the pleasure of dealing w/ good, hard working honest people...and for that I'm greatful! I'd call em back in a second!

This Company gives the worst customer service. We had a brand new AC unit installed in July 2024…read more On August 5, 2025, we came home to an alarm sounding from the control panel. I reset the alarm on the panel only for it to come back on later. All thru the night I had to get up and shut this alarm off. The next morning I contacted Dyess and a Service Tech came out and inspected. His answer was we need a new board that is located in the attic. This was a Thursday afternoon around 5:30. He was going back to the office and find out when and where a board could located. Today is September 11, and we still have no answer as to when we will get a replacement part. I have called the office number twice, one being this morning. Still no answer about the part. No one calls you back!!!!!

They quoted us a high price to repair three vents so the registers would fit. My wife and I are…read moredisabled and couldn't do it. The two teens they sent to do the job did a terrible job. We discovered after try left that the registers still didn't fit. We called to complain so the next day the two came back out and worked a little while. Put a bunch of gope on the vents. It looked bad but the registers fit. But the gope saged before the dried and now they don't fit.

Also left the fuses out of my AC outside without telling me when I have 2 large dogs out there regularly and its been raining almost daily was off putting, not to mention my system worked fine when I put them back in after being told my compressor was out. He seemed like a good guy and I'm sure he was jusy doing his job but I feel like it was an attempt to take me for a ride when I found out my AC was working properly after putting them back in. Texted to say it was working and I wasnt going to need a new compressor to no response. Did he fix it? Yes. Do I feel like I over paid and was under informed? Yes.

The tech was polite, knowledgeable, and had our unit running in no time. The prices were absolutley fair for emergent weekend work. That night the unit quit again. They had someone out straight away the next day. I will most definatly be calling them for any of my HVAC needs.

The receptionist is terrible. She is rude, condescending, unhelpful, and I could go on and on with…read morenegative words to describe this person. They installed our AC unit incorrectly in our new home and we had a year and a half worth of issues due to that. We eventually had a compressor that failed way before it should have and it turns out everything was installed incorrectly initially. They then had the gall to charge $500 for a service fee. I called up there to ask about the charges and the receptionist of course was as rude as possible. Stay as far away from this company as you can.
