Over and over... When we learned about his stinky act, we attempted to salvage the expensive mattress by calling a steam cleaner. I contacted Mean Steam for a quote and the owner, Jesse Root stopped by for a quote. Jesse saw the mattress and was very honest with me. He said I could try and get the stain out but I can promise you I will not be able to take it all out because the urine was so penetrated in the mattress. Me being a contractor, in a different field, had knowledge of the proper order of procedure for this project to be completed properly. In the initial meeting, addressing the issue of a dip in the floor was my main concern. I was assured that it was no problem. When it came time to the actual repair, he told me that he did not know how to fix it. So, I had to fix it myself. Also, I had to go back over his extremely shotty workmanship on the sheet rock, the painting, and the plumbing as he continued to drag his feet through this project over an 8-month period. He constantly wanted me to pay him before the actual payment was sent from the lender. Which I did to help him out because of his lack of funds. Big red flag! He was unable to keep the proper information and paperwork to the lender, in a timely manner, to keep the payments flowing. Needing to move back in, I worked nights and weekends, in the house, to get it to livable conditions. I paid his last invoice of nearly 12,000.00 and have not been reimbursed from the lender because of his lack of completion of just the renovation itself. After being ghosted for a couple of months, he finally responded with a text stating that it was too much of a hassle to send invoices and have his work inspected before payment. The garage was never even started. I have wires for the exterior lights hanging out of my house. I tried my best to help this fellow to complete this project by buying and delivering materials, cleaning up his constant messes, going over his work, paying him out of my pocket, and being patent with his procrastination of completing just the renovation. I hope no other homeowner has to go through this. Beware!

I was in a bind because my rather large $300 rug has been sitting rolled up in my garage for nearly a year. My cat decided she was going to pee on the corner and we ended up just rolling up the carpet and putting it in the garage. Nearly a year later, I decided I would try to get it cleaned. I searched the online websites for carpet cleaning, and Gary promised the most thoroughly cleaned carpet ever. I promptly called him and asked if he would do something special, and he said to go ahead and drop my rug off at his house. I told him I was military and he offered me a great deal. The smell had really set, but he treated that specific spot (after thoroughly cleaning the entire rug) five times. He didn't charge me an arm and a leg, and I am extremely happy with the result. He was very flexible with working with me, and gave me an excellent deal. The level of his attention to detail is amazing. I have two dogs and two cats, and we have since left them alone in the house with the rug. None of them pay any attention to this spot, which was our true test to see if this cleaning had really worked. Even if he wasn't able to help the rug, his customer service and cleaning were amazing. I'd recommend his services to anybody. Ultimately if the smell/stain didn't come out, that would have been our fault for how long we let the rug sit after the initial infraction.
