I happened to call Rollie's as they fit the criteria. From the minute the owner answered the call, he sounded annoyed. The longer the conversation went on I was feeling like i was a bother. He genuinely made the call uncomfortable, that I even asked if he wanted to do it (wants the business) and that I could get someone else. He made me feel like I was interrupting his Sunday, which I get I was, but it did say this business was 24/7 on call. He made sure to say it was going to cost me and that it was a 40 min drive; his tone was condescending. I had him on speaker and even my husband was appalled by his behavior. I decided to end the conversation with that I would get someone else, that he didn't seem like he really wanted my business. I ended up getting my problem fixed with a different company that had superior customer service from the first phone call all the way through to him walking out of my home with my problem fixed and at a way cheaper price than your quote. Customers don't want to feel like we are putting YOU out or that we are a bother. Customers don't need to put up with rude businesses. We can bring our money elsewhere. There was a legit reason why I needed it fixed on a Sunday. If you'd rather spend family time with no interruptions, might I suggest you close your business to weekdays only. Even if I were to have believed you that it was no problem, your tone suggested otherwise. I don't even think I could have trusted your work or the end price for that matter.

They listened to what our needs were and before they started they looked over the work areas and took the time to find the best costs for the materials needed for the job and gave a reasonable quote. They were clean and organized while working on the projects. I was ok with that because I wanted the yard to look nice for the holiday. This morning he called and said he couldn't get sod today because it had rained and it was too wet to cut it out. He could do it next week some time. Wanting grass along the house and realizing I wouldn't have it be the weekend, I asked if they could seed the area with grass. He quoted me a reasonable price and said he would have someone out in an hour. Paul and Jacob showed up within the hour. They prepared the site and seeded the area. They apologized for the lack of communication explaining that they were very busy as this was the first week the weather was good enough to plant grass. They were nice enough to seed another small area at no extra cost. The two men were very informative, polite, and knowledgeable. They told me everything I needed to do to care for the new lawn.They also said they would check back in a couple weeks to see how the new lawn was coming along. This job came with a satisfaction guarantee. I will be skeptical, but would use them again if there is an occasion. I would request Paul and Jacob to do the work.

The way that turf pro works is they do the more business properties before the residential. The reason that they might not have made it to you is because they have a lot of properties to finish with a lot of grass or snow.
