Every time i'm back in town I always make it a point to come here a couple times. I'm always glad to see this place succeed and if I can help spread the good word and share some great photos I'm here for it. What's particularly good this time, is they have upped there game with a new chef. The food wasn't bad before but now it seems like the taste of the dishes have been upped another level. The time i've been here to grab some food I would give the dishes 5 stars each. I tried their hamburger of the week, that was so good; probably one of the best i've had. They had a bacon jam, two types of cheese with one of them deep fried like a biscuit. Of course the buns were soft. What a stellar burger. Their pizza was almost as tasty as their burger and maybe not to that of Dempsey's but nothing to be ashamed at and I wouldn't hestitate to order again. They a variety of beers the produce and i'm not a much of a beer person but any of their wheat drinks are good. This place I would say would be better in winter but is a fine place to come and hang out for food and conversation and sometimes they have someone playing music which is a nice added touch. read more

I tried the BBQ pulled pork pizza and would definitely eat it again. I was pleasantly surprised by the interesting food options available; a better selection than at most bar and grill restaurants. The Hellinger IPA, while not overly hoppy, was smooth and very tasty. The waitresses were friendly and attentive. There is live music every Wednesday evening after 7:00PM with no cover charge. Hit this place while heading home from Sturgis, SD. It was a Friday evening and the place was pretty empty. This was also during the health crisis of 2020. This evening I had their WBC burger with fresh hand cut fries. After a day of riding it hit the spot. The beer. These guys nailed it. Beer flights are great! Food and service was okay. Had the steak tips which were just okay and fries but every single fry on my plate was about an inch big. I definitely was given the last of the bag so most were cold as it took a long time to eat baby fries. read more

This place made me want to start a Yelp account. I can't say enough good things about this place. I came up here for work and decided to stop at a local brewery. The beer was great and the bartender seemed to know a lot about all of his beers (always a good sign...) or as he put it when I asked for his opinion - "I've got lots of those!" One of the brewers came out and started getting other customers and my input on the beer and we started throwing out ideas for other beers they could try. After a beer and a couple samples, I decided it was time to try some food. I ordered the chislic (a South Dakota specialty) with parm fries. It was fantastic. The chislic and toast were seasoned very well. The parm fries weren't anything amazing but they weren't bad either. From what I heard from one of the regulars, the tots and cheese curds are delicious. But the reason they made me want to start a Yelp account is due to their service. At a time where businesses are struggling to find people to work, these guys were polite, hard working, and fantastic. I can't recommend stopping in here for beer and a conversation enough. read more

Food was ok. I had a 6oz steak that was 2 oz of fat and grissle, my wife had the burger which was 'fine'. Tiny, itsy bitsy portion. I had a side of tots and got 4. Yes, four tater tots. What an absolutely phenomenal surprise! I wish I had pics but we were starving after driving all day and ate too fast. I wasn't sure how much gluten-free stuff to expect at a brewery (since beer = gluten) but MY WORD they absolutely STUNNED. We shared the house smoked chicken wings and the house tots. (I am not Celiac just sensitive, so not sure if the tots have any flour, I did not ask, which our server confirmed as well.) We then split the Philly Cheese Steak on their gluten free bun which... is homemade. Yes. Homemade gluten free buns. AND they are corn-based, and taste a lot like cornbread. So, juicy roasted meats, peppers, cheese, on a cornbread bun!?! YES. This was not just a "good gluten free" (possibly low gluten) meal, but just a delicious meal, period. Unfortunately I could not have a beer but got a pineapple hard cider that was delicious - the server did miss a chance to upsell me on another one of those before we finished eating. Also, the sweet chili sauce for the wings was a little weird. Not sure if I would get that again. I was picturing Thai sweet chili sauce, but this was... white? It was odd, but not awful, and the smoke flavor of the wings came through. Next time I'll do classic Buffalo. read more

This is our second trip here and they didn't disappoint. Had the chislic with homemade cheese curds. OMG the cheese curds were fabulous!! Creamy with a hint of spice, amazing. The chislic had really good flavor, if I had a complaint it would just be bigger chunks of chislic, however even this is minor. Will definitely be back. read more

Outstanding brewery. friendly service. These people know how to pair flavors. The burger was an excellent piece of beef. Juicy and flavorful. Excellent sweet potato fries with amazing dipping sauce. If you come you MUST get the cheese curds!!!! These are the most amazing cheese curds I've ever had. There were 3 types of cheeses in them. My personal favorite was the pepper jack. I wish I could have chosen to have them all be pepper jack. Last I had the smoked chicken pizza. It was a grainy crust as advertised. The flavors were good but I just didn't care for the pizza. Very honest review. The beer is always good and I have nothing bad to say about it. The food has gone down hill.... Two years ago when we were here the food was off the charts and today, a Saturday at noon, the food was below expectations. Two years ago the owner pride himself on the best ingredients, today I got a bison burger with a craft single on it, I asked for cheddar cheese. The burger was extremely small and very over cooked, again nothing like what we experienced a few years ago. The fries should have been double fried but were not and were very soggy. We ordered a cheese quesadilla for our daughter and it also had a craft single on it.I really hope they turn this ship around and pride themselves on their food again. We tried the pretzels, the cheese curds and the cubed steak basket (can't remember the name for it) with the sweet potato fries. We just shared them all around. It was delicious!! I would like an IV of the chipotle ranch dip, please. I would have dipped everything we ordered in it. I just didn't discover it until the meat arrived. My one complaint was that the soda came in cans. I'm a none beer drinker, so I enjoy my free refills on the soda while my hubby enjoys the beer selection. But if you drink beer then it's not an issue. We would definitely be regulars if we lived in town. Yum! read more
