It has a huge parking lot so that is never an issue. Inside there are a lot of empty spaces where stores can go in so business could be better. It does have a RMV for Massachusetts which is helpful in that I do not have to go into the city. This also brings lots of people in. I am not sure they count as shoppers. Security guard here sucks. Was screaming and furiously knocking on my window telling me to move my car because I arrived a couple of hours before close. When I started to move he jumped in front of the vehicle and started taking photos of it, so I stopped. Then he got out of the way so I started to move again then he jumped in front of my car again. Eventually I was able to leave and he followed me out, holding his horn down. Was pretty strange, don't recommend this place lol read more

Came here a couple of months ago after walking around Arsenal Yards to check it out because I've never been before. There's a large Target and dim sum restaurant. Not many stores but if anything, the kind man working the perfume kiosk is one of the nicest people I have met. Highly recommend going to him if you're in need of scents. read more

This is one of the saddest malls I have ever seen. Beyond the two anchors, best buy and Target, there is nothing here... Well nothing worthwhile. The only thing that keeps this mall in business beyond the anchors, is the RMV. If you want to shop go across the street, to what I would rate a 2 star mall. Very small shopping center. They do have a good sized Target as well as a Best Buy and that's what I think keeps the mall going. I used to go to this mall for the Old Country Buffet since it was one of two locations that were convenient for me to get to but that closed down last year so I don't have much more reason to go to this mall. read more

It's old, but lovely. Best Buy at one end and Target at the other end. Sandwiched in the middle is the RMV. There's a smoke shop that has an array of snacks, smokes, lottery etc. Lyft has a booth in the middle, I've had several keys made from the locksmith located in there. Papa Gino's is always great for a quick lunch. There's an Avenue clothes store, Carter's baby clothes and a Work N Gear. It's not a huge mall but I like the things they do offer. read more

'Despicable' is a way I use to describe this mall. Much worse than both of the cleaner, more luxurious Arsenal Mall & Mall At Chestnut Hill. This mall doesn't have much in it and the overall place is old and not really very clean (or anywhere near my standards). I guess it's better than my nearby Walpole Mall, as there AREN'T any empty storefronts (now, that's a good thing for the mall), and there are some good stores. But for a MALL, it's really the pits. 3 stars at MAX, but for now it's only going to get 2. Best Buy is a great place to shop, and this Best Buy has both a mall entrance and a separate entrance. The best of the mall, Target, is huge, and also has both a mall and separate entrance. Other shops throughout the mall are Payless, Avenue, Papa Gino's, Registry of Motor Vehicles, Carter's, "Moda", Work & Gear, a convenience store, Sally Beauty, and a few other small shops. Overall, this isn't nearly a destination unless you need Best Buy or Target, and some real basic shops in the mall, otherwise, check out the Arsenal Mall across the street, Mall at Chestnut Hill, ten minutes away, or the Natick Mall, about 30 minutes away. 2 stars. My childhood dentist was here. We grew up in Natick and used to go to the same damn dentist every kid in Natick goes to (Kane & Tessini) but something must have changed on ma and pa's insurance so we started going here. It was during my middleschool years so I'd go chill at Strawberries record store once my filling was done and wait for my sisters to get out of the chair. I bought Dinosaur Jr.'s "Where You Been" (classic album) there on cassette tape. Then when we were all done (cuz when you have 4 kids it's easiest to schedule all their dental appts on the same day) we'd always go to Papa Gino's for dinner. So every time I go to Papa's (not all that often now) it reminds me of the dentist chair. I clearly remember the day they turned the Gap into an Old Navy. I walked in and was like "whoa so you guys are like the Gap with cheaper prices and crappier stuff?" hmm. The early days of Old Navy were a taste of choppy sailing through rough seas. No tv ads with hot chicks dancing in striped sweaters and scarves and winter hats. When I was real little we lived in Watertown and my mom would take me to Bradlee's (the Target of the 80's) and that was great fun. Worth another star for nostalgia. Yet another story - my youngest sister took her driving test at the RMV housed here so I took her to get that done. And she passed! Yay for Annie!! So this is the mall of my childhood. I should go back for a slice uh roni at Papa's (if it's still there) and kick it for some reminiscin. read more

This place is pretty terrible... and DO NOT GO SEE THE EASTER BUNNY HERE... honestly, terrible and not worth it at all. The target is nice enough, and the carters is actually pretty nice, but the mall itself is not a place you want to be. There are a lot of "seedy" people there and not a very clean or inviting place. Really no good stores, unless you want Target or Carters. Claw Machine Review! The claw machine inside Papa Gino's in the Watertown Mall is one of the better ones. The machine is small, as are most of the stuffed animals inside - BUT the claw has one of the firmest grips I've ever seen. If you grab the animal the right way, the claw closes hard and stays closed. If you like winning plush animals, this one's a keeper! read more

When one thinks of the "end of retail and" the "great mall apocalypse" look no further than the Watertown Mall (or its cousin the Arsenal Mall for that matter). This mall is so desolate it is scary. Try to find more than a half dozen name brand stores. Even the food court is sad, just a sign of the times for older mall structures. I have never Watertown Mall and now I know why. The mall is beyond tacky, it is actually ugly! The mall is a dead mall there are very few stores and only one section actually has in-line tenants. The only reason people come here is because of the RMV, Best Buy, and Target The rest of the place is basically useless. The only stuff actually in here is a few clothing stores, a dance school, a tobacco shop, And a Chinese restaurant. I don't see any improvements or adjustments in the future because no one ever does things with this mall. The mall is very depressing with shoved up carts against the wall, Some vacant storefronts, and out of date architecture that is clearly from when this place opened. Very few people come to the small and I understand why. The only reason this place is still here is because of The RMV which does bring a little bit of foot traffic into the place but the main reason is here is because Arsenal Mall got re-developed. The mall also has a mall walking group in the morning which is funny because the small is a size of a mansion. The mall is sad and I would only go for Target again. read more

Besides being bookended by Best Buy and Target the Watertown Mall is nothing more then a enclosed strip mall. The best thing about it is, on a cold day that you have shopping to do at both Target and Best Buy, it's quicker (and obviously warmer) to walk between the two on the inside as opposed to walking through the parking lot. read more

I brought my dog in; instead of asking me nicely, the security officer gave me a shoulder shrug and told me "who do you think you are to bring a dog in, cant have that thing in here, next thing you know it will jump on the counter". I was at sallys beauty store, not a restaurant. My dog was the smallest frenchie, how is it going to even jump that high. I would give this place a 0 star if i could. Watertown Mall is such a pathetic little mall that you feel sorry for it. It looks like (and probably is) a relic from the 70's/early 80's that has potential with Target and Best Buy as anchors but the owners are too cheap to give it a facelift. Watertown Mall used to be a good place before Arsenal Mall came in the 80's and made WM only an afterthought. The only reason people came here was Stop and Shop and Bradlee's and then they both left. Now there's Target and Best Buy which are great anchor stores, yet the rest of WM is so pathetic. At least change the faded and tired Watertown Mall sign/logo! Bottom line: Basically come here for Target and Best Buy and WM is just a strip of crappy little stores connecting the two. So much potential, such lame owners. read more

The name is decieving, it should be Watertown Strip Mall. There's a Target, Best Buy, Gap Outlet and a small random other assortment of shops along with the RMV. Good if you're going to hit some of the big stores but not really a "mall" experience, like Cambridge Side, Pru or Natick Malls. Parking is ample and free. read more

This mall has the creepiest looking Easter bunny I have ever seen in my life. It has a Target, Best Buy, Carters, uniform store, hair salon, a soon to be renovated Papa Gino's and a few other little store and kiosks. Okay....I am the first to admit: this is a run down, not elite mall. Sort of like a mall you would see in Hard on thier luck places like Penn, not upscale Boston area. But the Gap has amazing deals. And other stores arn't bad either. Not a bad bang for your buck. And Parking is never a problem. read more
