Well, since I last reviewed this place sadly malls have aren't really a thing anymore. But this mall is "hanging in there" for lack of anything else to say. It was always a nicer mall and it's still ok though it's not quite what it used to be. Some of the newer stores have less prestige than the stores they replaced and there are some empty stores. It seems like they've done a good job of keeping the empty stores off the main aisles of the mall so you might not notice them. Of Saturday of Black Friday weekend it was quite busy but not as absolutely crazy as it used to be. Which is honestly fine by me because I can actually find a parking spot these days. It's still a decent mall considering the overall state of malls in the country and I hope it survives. read more

I know i personally didn't do any shopping myself but this mall was so both way too high tech for me and kinda eh, I mean service was whatever, value was probably pretty high since it was Massachusetts near Boston, and overall the stores were very werid, like you'd have two anime shops that were just gacha stores. I have not been to the Burlington Mall in a bit and WOW I forgot how good it is. The key is to go during non-peak hours so it's not crazy busy if possible. Stores are currently running early Black Friday Deals and no oneee was in the mall when my friend and I went. It was amazing!! We came here to browse for a dress for an upcoming event and we each walked out with multiple shopping bags. This mall is huge and there's something for everyone -- kids, adults, men, women, etc. read more

Burlington Mall, a Simon Property, is located on Middlesex Turnpike, just off route 128 (I-95) in Burlington, Massachusetts. There are over 185 shops and eateries. Some popular stores are Macy's, Nordstrom, Primark, Apple, H&M, Lululemon, Sephora, Warby Parker and restaurants include The Cheesecake Factory, The Friendly Toast, Fogo de Chao, Frank Pepe Pizzeria Napoletana, Legal Sea Foods, and Shake Shack. There are plenty of parking spaces. I parked by Legal Sea Foods and used that entrance into the mall. This was my first time at Burlington Mall, but the signage was very good and I was able to find the stores I wanted to go to very easily. There are also interactive information kiosks that provide point-to-point directions and multi-destination wayfinding. It is very spacious inside and has a modern feel. I went to BoxLunch first which is located on Upper Level and met the friendliest employee - Patrick. He saw me looking at the clearance section and informed me that there was a special promotion going on now (Buy 1, get 2 free) which was a steal. At checkout, he informed me that different BoxLunch stores have different promotions. I was really fortunate to come to this location this day to take advantage of this deal. The other store I went to was Primark. There are only 2 other Primark locations in MA - Boston and Braintree - so I definitely had to take advantage of Primark in Burlington Mall. I was able to purchase some items and some were even 50% off. I had such a great time here at Burlington Mall and looking forward to the next time I come back. read more

The Burlington Mall needs to do something about their escalators constantly being out of order. I went there at 11am on a Thursday and it was packed with customers so it's obvious the mall itself is not struggling from a business perspective. And yet every time I go to this mall, there are multiple escalators that are out of service, and they are blocked off so customers can't even walk up/down them if they choose to. On top of that, they've removed some escalators that they used to have, such as the one by the food court. This is a busy mall, there is no reason why they can't afford to properly maintain their escalators. They also need more mall maps/directories placed throughout the mall. I was on the first floor on the Macy's end of the mall and I was trying to find the food court. All I saw was one sign that read "Food Court" with an arrow, so I just kept walking until I got lucky. There is no context on distance, or what side of the mall it's on. This is a large mall with many corners and directions you can go in, it's impossible to navigate without a map. read more

Been coming here for almost 15 years. Although it is not my most favorite to shop or eat at, it is the closest to where I live, so I go here more for convenience. Recently they have undergone a huge reno and added a lot of new stores and restaurants. Definitely high time they did that. It needed that expansion and more things to do, it was getting too tiring. Although lot of new places to eat outside and around the mall, it definitely needs more fun eateries on the food court, bored of the same old pizza, chinese and fast food options. read more

This is a solid mall, much larger than we expected! They have a combination of high-end stores, old favorites, department stores, and value options. They have a massage place and a couple of hair salons inside as well, and a pretty darn good food court! Very diverse group of cuisine offerings, and everything we had was extremely high-quality - especially for a small food court! The mall is kept clean and organized, and we felt very safe. Definitely a good place to spend some time, especially on a cold winter day. read more

PARKING: Plenty of parking spaces all around the area. We've never had any issues with parking here. STORES: Shops are very similar to one another: there are 2-3 shops that sell Christmas stuff but overall a good variety of shops. Wish they had an arcade! FOOD COURT: Sushi, Korean Corndogs, Tacos, Sandwiches, Smoothies - they have it all. Outside of the main food court, they also have a Pretzel Time, Gong Cha and two Caffe Neros (one inside the mall and one outside the mall). read more

Sadly this mall has gone downhill. My family visited about a week ago. My mom has her own medical challenges to care for. She can't be on her feet long or walk long distance. I'm in a wheelchair. We went to visit in primark. Because of her issue we usually park at the food court entry or Pepe's. She uses the food court escalators and I go down to the center "glass" elevators. Well that day they are down. I'm tried to go in to Nordstrom's and their employees were far from helpful spraying perfume as we try to enter the store after telling them I have a respiratory medical condition and perfume can trigger it. I ended up going all the way to Macy's to use a functional elevator without risking my health and causing a medical emergency to visit a store on the complete opposite side of the mall as no other functional and safe public elevator to use. read more

The mall is an excellent place for shopping in the stores and dining in the premier restaurants like Legal Seafood, Cheesecake Factory, as well as the food court area for inexpensive pizza and sandwiches. read more

2 words! Big roach problem! I'm not talking softbal sized but they ain't no house roaches. Can't go anywhere without at least seeing one or 2. When I talk to the store clerks about it they say "yeah can't seem to get rid of them. Talked to my boss about it and they say the mall won't take responsibility for it" yes I'm paraphrasing but you will get similar answers from each clerk. It's ridiculous. Over the years I've seem countless businesses lose their licenses and reputations over this. I don't know if they fixed the rat problem but the roaches are overabundant. The mall won't take responsibility for its own infestation. "It's not the mall's problem" bull pucky! They need to fix this... it's ridiculous and it's disgusting. They have no respect for the buisness owners by neglecting their own issue. Update: as I have photos of these bugs found in the mall I will be posting more images to this review and if I the mall still has a rat problem and I see it I'll add those too. read more

This mall is always packed for some reason. Parking lot tend to pack up fast and there is usually traffic going into the parking lot. Because of this amount of people, inside of the mall tend to be very cramped, especially during the holidays, when my claustrophobia kicked in while inside the mall. This mall doesn't even have that good of stores, unlike natick mall, which tend to be more spacious with better traffic distribution, better parking lot experience, is more upscale, and have more options for stores. Burlington mall is what it is and that is a overrated mall in a very opportune location. There is definitely alot of room for improvement. I find that if you are in the area anyways, I would just go across the nh border for tax free mall. read more

The escalators are always down and now the elevators are breaking doen from time to time. Get your S*** together thats a fire hazard. Also the mall has a bad ceiling and leaks in the food court and instead of getting a roofer to fix the problem each rain storm you can count on them to just put barrels out to catxh the dripping which is not sanitary. I mean, this place is fine, I guess. How does one sufficiently rate a mall anyway? Let's talk about what we know. We know that it's fairly big. We know their location is conveniently placed near the highway for easy off and on ramp access. I had zero problem finding this place on the street, as there's multiple entrances and exits along the block. And we know they have a Cheesecake Factory inside. Which....automatically makes them cooler than Heelys, in my book. One of the previous reviews mentioned how some of the stores appear blacked out. We definitely noticed something like that on the second floor. Granted, it was barely an hour after they just opened on a Saturday. But...the ground floor feels busier than the second floor. Half the floor felt closed. Nevertheless, I'd certainly come back here. I actually found some pretty nice office shirts in Macy's, which was more than I was expecting to find. Anywho, check 'em out. Even if only for the Cheesecake Factory. Burlington Mall gets 4 pressed n' dressed business casual office shirts out of 5. read more

Love that this place is very accessible to where I live. It's only a few minutes drive and it's away from the city so the parking is provided. The mall on the south side is a little bit far from where I live. They have good selections of stores in this mall. They also have food court and restaurants around the area so if you get hungry while shopping you have the option to eat somewhere close by. There's a lot of shops like Macy's that are big enough to get a lot of selections and their sales as well around the area. Around this time of the pandemic, there's not a lot of people and me and my friend mostly go there when it's about to close so there's even more lesser people around. I also love that they have gong cha milk tea in this mall since I love bubble tea it's a plus to have it accessible read more

Mall redesign is awful. Why did you remove stairs and escalators throughout the place? If I want to get upstairs to the Gamestop/Primark area after entering at the new Fogo de Chao, I literally need to walk all the way to the middle of the mall -- only to find a broken escalator. Meaning I need to walk even further to the middle and take an elevator past the Apple Store, only to double back to my destination, and then walk BACK, once again, to the middle of the mall so that I can go downstairs and exit. Awful design. Why get rid of the stairs??? It is going to be an absolute cluster once the holidays are here. read more

I used to love this place, but all these "upgrades" and muted industrial looking designs have sent my senses into a depression. Primark and Parm and three warehouse looking structures and the stupid coffee shops are HIDEOUS! Making it look like every other cell block popping up all over the country. Thanks for at least leaving Macys and Lord and Taylor's classic design there for a while. I used to really love this mall, the turquoise roof accents still bring joy. But all these new up and coming businesses are gross. Doesn't help that a hotel looking like a tall cell block has overtaken the skyline. Stop with the ugly downgrades! I enjoy shopping at the Burlington Mall. In addition to the standard mall staples, there's some nice local shops, such as chocolate shop Harbor Sweets and pet boutique PUPS (definitely recommend checking out both). The food court has a much better variety than most malls I've visited. I usually go to the Indian place since you get a good amount of food for the price. There's also several dine-in restaurants like Legal Seafoods. As others have mentioned, parking is a disaster, especially around the holidays. This is the only mall I've been to where I've regularly seen police officers directing traffic like it's some event at TD Garden. If you can get passed that, this is one of the better shopping malls in the area. read more

We probably didn't visit at the best time, they seem to be under a massive construction project that seems like it has been going on for awhile (based on other reviews). That being said, there were stores that everyone with us wanted to go into. So they have a range of stuff for teens to .... um ... not so much teens. We were actually here the day after Thanksgiving, and even with Covid they were packed. Masks were required and literally everyone had them. Stores were very cautious about the number of customers they let in, and most had people keeping count at the door to ensure that they didn't exceed capacity numbers. The food court has some different options - at least from what we are used to in Alabama/the south. Nice to have the variety that they had to offer though. We would for sure return if we were in the area and wanted to do some shopping (any place that has an Under Armour store is gonna rank good on my list). read more

This review is solely for the new Under Armour store. I'm hunting for running clothes for the upcoming Ragnar Relay. I figured this was the best choice since UA clothing tend to be pretty light. Unfortunately, whether you look online or in store, there's little variety in color. As for this store, I'd say I can pretty much buy 1 of each of their clothing lines with a few months. I would recommend more options for running clothes. That being said, I definitely have a few more things to stop by for in the very near future. read more

Huge mall with a great variety of stores! I went to this mall looking specifically to go to h&m and was disappointed to find out there wasn't one. It turned out fine because there are so many other stores and restaurants there that I could spend my time in. There really is something for everyone. I have a few complaints, but they are things that are common in most large malls. First, parking is almost impossible to find, especially since there was a lot of construction going on that took up even more space and made it difficult to drive around the outside of the mall. In addition, the mall is so huge that it is hard to find what you are looking for. I definitely wish there were more maps or signs to help me figure out where I was in comparison to things. It is super easy to get lost or feel overwhelmed. Overall, if you are looking to do some serious shopping this is a good place to hit a ton of stores at once. Definitely prepare yourself though, and come up with a plan of what stores you want to visit, beforehand. read more

The Burlington Mall is a great shopping mall. The classier and more upscale of the two malls I grew up by (20 minute drive), the Burlington Mall has a fabulous selection of stores and restaurants outlets. Whenever I am in the area I feel compelled to make a stop here to check out the awesome stores or to see what is new. There are anchor stores such as Macy's and Lord and Taylor as well as mostly all the other stores I habitually shop at. There is a Cheesecake Factory (although I miss the Jimmy's Steak and Seafood that was there for years before big money came along), and Uno's Chicago Pizzeria, and a Legal Seafoods which is fabulous. You can easily spend an afternoon here, shopping and eating, and would not get bored. The layout of the mall is nice and the patrons keep it classy (as opposed to some other malls I have been to). I will continue to visit the Burlington Mall and hold it in high regard. I have many memories of shopping here with my mom and friends and my opinion of the mall has not soured over time, and I believe that the mall has gotten better with age! read more

This mall has long been one of my favorites, and still has some great stores. However, there are more empty storefronts than I've seen here, and there appears to be a lot of construction. I was glad to see that it's still a busy place with a lot of customers. There are also a lot of restaurants in and around the mall, so I think it's still worth a stop! read more

I have been coming here since I can remember. When I got my driver's permit, this was the first place I came that weekend. It has always been a great see friends, hang out and see the new fashion, and being the video game freak that I was, buying loads and loads and loads of games. nowadays, I come here to repair my iPhone that I continually drop, or go to The Cheesecake Factory, and walk the malls to see what's going on. It's a great place to go if you just don't want to shop online, or you just actually want to touch the thing you're going to buy opposed to just looking at it online and waiting for it to be mailed to you. Parking is fairly easy..... there are a lot of spots to choose from with multiple entry points throughout the mall, but for whatever reason this place seems to attract a lot of deivers who can't seem to ... how can I put this? stay parked within their lines.... I guess they must have had problems with coloring when they were in..... If you are considering going to see Santa at the mall this year don't purchase their pictures. Their lighting is completely off and washed out. The chair they have Santa sitting on is white (!?!?!) and the intense lighting makes for a very poor quality picture. Wish I had known this before spending the $50+ dollars! This place has now descended into the abyss and is an absolute dump and blacked out stores and just not the same anymore. What the heck is happening to Simon Malls lately? This place has the floor being replaced and it looks like a war zone. Besides the fact they have just lost all of their anchor stores except Macy's and Nordstrom. There are no good stores in here anymore and its a disaster of a place. I am shocked since it was on the rise and once Covid hit, they had no way of making it. Sadly this mall will most likely die like the rest of Simon Malls. Really disappointing. read more

One of the better malls in the area and I can only bring myself to give it three stars. Malls for me are so passe and are a dying breed. Luckily, at least Burlington isn't going away anytime soon and they do have the best anchor stores that will keep it in place for a long time. The parking here SUCKS. Who are all of these people shopping on a random Tuesday afternoon!? Are there really that many suburban moms strolling around with their kids to kill time while they await their husband to come home from work!? I've never been able to understand it but it is a nightmare. Luckily, there is a Salem Five bank inside and I'm a member so I try and park in their special spots, even if they are only good for 15 minutes. I can usually get all of my bizz-nass done in that amount of time, regardless if I need to go to more than just the bank or not. The selection of stores isn't anything to write home about but again, when you compare it to everything else that is within a 30 mile radius, only the Copley Mall and Natick come close in terms of the amount of high end stores you venture into a mall like this for. An Apple Store, Abercrombie for the doppledouches, a Banana Republic (you won't see anything like this in a mall such as the Meadow Glen in Medford), BCBG's, Burberry.....I could go on. The food court isn't half bad. One of the best Indian take out spots I know of has been a main staple here for years and I'm glad they haven't been priced out of the rent considering I've seen many edible storefronts come and go Chik-Fil-A is still here, yuck. Good luck getting in and out of here on a busy weekend, I always thought the ramps to and from suck hardcore. The design could definitely be improved there. Pro tip -- enter from the BACK of the mall and turn in by Sears. This is done by getting off the I-95 heading south one exit prior to the standard exit that splits off from Rt 3. I like the variety of stores in the Burlington Mall. There's quite a few stores which are unique for the area, ranging from large ones like Nordstroms to small ones like Teavana. The food court has a lot of variety too, plus decent larger restaurants should you want something nicer. BUT... driving in this parking lot when it's busy to any degree requires low blood pressure and nerves of steel. And it's easier for deer to cross an interstate highway than it is to cross the main traffic route in front going to/from the outer parking areas. This particular mall also seems to have the highest concentration of in-your-face, pushy, reps in center kiosks intent on getting your attention or throwing samples at you. read more

This mall is ok. Smaller than most malls but sf ones the trick for your in and out needs. They have a decent food court. The parking is always horrendous here and doesn't make sense cause they have tons of places for parking, it's always full and when you get inside the number of customers fo not seem to match the number of cars. My guess is it's the employees using up the spots. If that is true, they should make them their own parking lot. read more

If you are thinking of coming to the Burlington Mall then I would say don't. They're ripping up all the floors which they just did a couple years ago and that's a mess. They've gotten rid of an escalator or two so it's hard to find your way from one level to another. And a lot of stores are closed. read more
