The nursery was packed with both old standards and new, unique varieties, which was delightful. I could have walked around for ages and I'm sure my family would say that I already did! The staff here is excellent- several staff members were able to walk me around and help me to find exactly the variety that would work best for me in several situations... and I'm pretty picky, as a landscape architect and horticulturist. It was like candy for me to be able to walk around with these experts and pick their brains on different qualities of each cultivar- I learned new things, which is always a win. In the end, I went home with a Baetzella peony that I had been searching for at a very good price, a great dwarf Japanese Maple (they have so many to choose from!), and a unique, funny little evergreen that they bred right there at the nursery. Especially if you're looking for a nursery with a great evergreen selection and a lot of knowledge, this is a must-see.

Jan provided a reasonable quote for a lot of work, which included a timeline for the removal of the existing invasive vines (5 varieties of vines and other invasive plant species all of which have gotten way out of hand), a native planting plan, and continued maintenance.
