They have sleds for getting your tree and will shake your tree, drill a hole, and bail it. They don't not help with putting it on your car, but they do offer twine. You can tell they take really great care of their trees as they all have wood chips around the trunk, an irrigation system, and generally look very healthy. I love the barn with the fresh cut boughs and wreaths- they use the branches they remove from trees to make decor, I love that they aren't going to waste! They will drill a hole in the bottom if you want one and will secure your tree nicely. If you go on a week day and it's not too crowded, they have the warming house that's full of decor and ornaments. Great selection, also reasonable prices. Our kids, who are now teenagers, still love this family tradition! They have an old truck for a great picture backdrop as well.

The nursery was packed with both old standards and new, unique varieties, which was delightful. I could have walked around for ages and I'm sure my family would say that I already did! The staff here is excellent- several staff members were able to walk me around and help me to find exactly the variety that would work best for me in several situations... and I'm pretty picky, as a landscape architect and horticulturist. It was like candy for me to be able to walk around with these experts and pick their brains on different qualities of each cultivar- I learned new things, which is always a win. In the end, I went home with a Baetzella peony that I had been searching for at a very good price, a great dwarf Japanese Maple (they have so many to choose from!), and a unique, funny little evergreen that they bred right there at the nursery. Especially if you're looking for a nursery with a great evergreen selection and a lot of knowledge, this is a must-see.

FYI, if you hesitate to shop there because of their location on Westnedge, don't worry; they have an entry/exit to a side road that has a traffic light to get back onto Westnedge!
