Im 50 yrs old lived in GR cutting down Christmas trees with my kids at different Tree Farms and this one is the best, me and my family still go every year to this day. Moved to Kalamazoo 9 yrs ago and found WAHMHOFF FARMS and have loved it ever since. Just for future reference referring to these demonicrats i honestly dont care if the they voted for your mother id still go there. There super-efficient and the whole experience is great. For twenty years we've used Wahmhoff Farms for our U-cut trees. They're a family business and we've always liked the Crèche our front each year. But last year, 2016, was the last year we'll return, and I'm telling all my family and friends to boycott them. They've insisted on putting up a hideous TRUMP sign on their front entrance, right adjacent to the Creche. In addition to proving their 'Christian values' are a sham, imagine the insult and alienation which over half of their customers must feel. Enough. So here's a long story really short, hence my check-in at Wahmhoff Farms. Week before Christmas is upon us, more like it was 3-4 days prior to and I still hadn't gotten a tree. Bad dad, I know, but the wife is just as much to blame. We went everywhere local to Portage with no luck; all the good ones were gone, leaving only the ones that look like they fell off the truck multiple times.....no good. So now I'm contemplating a fake tree but wife wants a real one. With kids in tow, off we go, to Wahmhoff Farms in the middle of no where. Upon arriving to WF I was delighted to see trees as far as the eyes can see. Sweet heaven, I'm out of the dog house as WF was my choice and last ditch effort. Being a balmy 11 degrees that day, we quickly found the 7-8ft tree that fit the bill and off we went. Experience there was great. Instead of cutting my own for about $10 cheaper, I went with a precut. Cost for trees is $70-$130, depending on what you want. IMO I think that's way too expensive for a tree especially since the year before I went to Mott's and found the best tree I ever bought for $50-$60 bucks, super deal for a wonderful tree, unfortunately Mott's is out of the tree biz (sad face). Good thing at WF is that all you need to do is pick the tree, pay, and pull up to have it mounted to the car which is all I can ask for, especially so dang close to X-mas. read more

I purchased a white pine with root ball in December of 2015. The tree has been cared for and yet is dead already.(I have been buying X-Mas Trees with root ball for 15 years and this is the first to die after transplant) I called to ask guarantees on your products and was very disappointed that you do not guarantee your products and of your unwillingness to help. Even more disappointing was that I followed with an email with further detail, and I received no response. The email auto generated message was that it was sent directly to the owner. As a new local resident, I was looking to establish myself with a local business for such needs. However, the poor quality of the tree, lack of customer service on phone and disregard of customer communication from owner combined with a failure to stand by your product have prompted me to advise others before working with your farm. read more

I have bought my Christmas tree from Wahmhoff the last two years. They were perfect because I got to choose them from an enormous selection. I bought 5 more trees this spring which are doing just fine. I will purchase more this next year to make up for the boycotters. read more
