There's also one person at the beginning with a pressure washer to knock all the built up ice off. Good place to get a car wash monthly membership during the winter time. It's a good deal when you do the breakdown of cost to value. The staff is nice. Sometimes I have had to press the call button and they fix the problem and I am well on my way. Also, LOVE the vacuums. Strong and work very well. The men that are in the car wash are so nice and do a good job spraying at the beginning and drying your car at the end. And there is a tip box at the end of the car wash. Real talk, the lines can be long so prepare for that scenario for winter. There isn't really anything they can do when the line goes past DQ. But this honestly doesn't bother me at all--for some it may be an inconvenience. Overall, I recommend. read more

Our family has used this car wash for many years and have been satisfied with the quality of wash. The quality of drying has actually improved as well with the employees being more thorough than several years back. We recently moved an hour away from the car wash and had a billing issue with being charged monthly, even though I thought I had canceled it back several months ago. The general manager, Tony (and employee Mike prior to speaking with Tony) were both EXTREMELY helpful and VERY patient with me and my situation. i explained we had moved an hour away and wouldn't be using them anymore. Even though they knew it would be unusual for us to do business with them in the future because of the logistics, they both were incredibly helpful!!! I just went to Waterwerks car wash and am extremely disappointed to learn that they have entirely eliminated the interior clean option. This is one of the main reasons for going there. I can go to any car wash and get the outside washed. I'm sure this is a corporate decision and a very foolish one to save a few bucks. I guess their loyal customers mean nothing. Easy to use, fast and smart order windows - they have help buttons and someone will come out if you're having issues 2. Staffed beginning and end of car wash - one crew member to hose the car down, and two at the end to hand-dry 3. Foaming soap, multicolor lights and all the swishy things in between - IYKYK 3. Free vacuum stations once you've paid for a car wash! The are several of them so you never wait in line, there's one for each side per station so you don't have to stretch, and they're actually high-powered. I normally get the Ultimate Package and all aspects of my vehicle are cleaned to perfection and the exterior is dried. I love this spot. Is it dorky to have a favorite car wash? The guys here are friendly and my car leaves spotless. They have employees spraying your car at the beginning, automated car wash like you'd find at a gas station - but better - and then employees hand-drying at the end. Plus - free vacuums! The reason that I drove from St. Paul to Eddiez today is because this place came highly recommended by a good friend and their prices were extremely affordable. They also accept credit cards which is a plus because I never have the quarters needed to operate the vacuums at gas stations. I got the premium wash for $20 and then I used the heck out of their really powerful vacuums which are free with your wash. My car came out looking spotless. Right next door is an open parking lot that I pulled into to detail the inside of my car. Even though there were a few cars ahead of me in line they keep it moving quickly so I hardly had to wait. Give these guys a break! This road construction can be detrimental to a business! They seem to be handling it well at Eddiez car wash. I have to admit the first time I drove by I passively thought this place was a car hop lol. It looks like a cute little diner. I finally gave them a shot yesterday and had a really nice experience. Despite the severe road construction on 66th, I had no trouble getting in and out. On their website you can actually ore-order, which is a nice touch, and their auto check-in machines are easy to operate. I didn't have to wait at all. Prices are competitive. They did a nice job. Another little perk are the free vacuum areas. I couldn't drive right by and made myself give my car a good cleaning, and I'm so happy I did! Give them a try! I will definitely return! I believe in keeping up external appearances even though I am jacked up internally. This carries over to how I am with my car; shiny on the outside, filthy on the inside. All thanks to Eddiez Auto Wash for encouraging this mentality ! While this car wash is not on my way to anyplace, I still travel three traffic lights out of my way to wash my car 2-3 times a week. Their unlimited car wash starts at $19/month but it is a couple dollars more if you opt for under carriage cleaning and wax. It's with your money if you wash your car at least once a week. With all the salt and snow and dirt on the roads in the winter, you want to ensure you get Basic plus. The brushes inside the car wash do not scratch my car and cruising through the entire wash takes a couple minutes. In the end your car is hand dryed by a couple of guys. I appreciate the human touch to an overall automated system. There is a tip bin to greet you once your experience has ended. Tip these guys, please. And if you choose to clean the insides, you can vacuum your car for free in one of the side stations. Needless to say, I have never taken part of that service but it's nice to know it's there! read more

I've used Eddies for years. Definitely the best car wash in the area. Very personable employees and the vacuums always work great!

I needed to get the bugs off my front grill and stopped in. The wash is a stay-in-car brushless wash, and does the job. I think Pelican does a better overall job because for a bit more money they vacuum the car and wipe the water off and out of the seams in the doors and trunk. Eddiez is more of a place where you get your car cleaned up in a pretty fast process. They sell packages at the automated payment booths. They accept tips for the hard working guys in a box after you leave. read more

They used to be good. I've been going to this place for over a decade. It's used to be good, but paying $20 bucks for a hand dried car wash I expect better. The bugs don't get off my car and the last 4-5 times I've gone through there's one guy drying who spends less than 10 seconds making drying motions on maybe one side of the car. I end up with the rear of my car with big streaks on the trunk of dirt now that really shows with the brush marks through the dirt. read more

I splurged and got the $22 wash and was left disappointed. From start to finish--despite all the ad-ons--it went faster than a gas station car wash. My car wasn't excessively dirty, but there was still dirt on the back and back bumper. Other full service car washes I've been to give you a wet towel to wipe down you interior, so that would have been appreciated. The only plus is the free vacuums work great! My car was filthy from the salt on our Minnesota roads and my cat walking on it in the garage. I stopped here mid day and chose the cheapest exterior wash. It was $10.00. You pay by machine. At this car wash the two attendants power wash first, then you put your car in neutral and don't apply the brakes, as you sit inside. At the end there are overhead dryers and two people to hand dry your car. Not the greatest car wash as windows were streaked and some salt remained but the cat paws are gone. They were even proactive and moved my Rescue mom pet magnet to my licence plate. Good enough car wash and was fast. Do it yourself vacuums also. read more

Don't go, they charge and don't provide the under carriage flush. I just tried Eddie's for the 1st time. My main reason for going was the under carriage flush. I paid $19 and did not get the flush, most important to me to prevent rust from salt. The only reason I went. When I called the manager, he hung up saying I did get the flush. I did not. I called back, he said he was the manager and that I did get the flush. I used my LED flashlight and got on my hands and knees to check. Not one drop of water and dry to the touch read more

By far the best car wash in the state of Minnesota! Everything about this place is outstanding! I have been searching high and low for a great car wash like this place and much to my avail, have finally found the one! The staff here is extremely friendly and they even give you a couple complimentary dash board wipes for your car. The car wash itself is great! I was excited to get my car washed here because of all the hype on Yelp... But it was underwhelming. Overpriced for what you get (exterior wash only) and the exterior of my car wasn't entirely clean. They have two guys with towels at end, and they didn't dry the car properly.. Windows were smudged. I purchased the platinum package and I wouldn't do it again. I paid $20 for a premium (platinum?) car wash. The one with everything. I had just moved across country from AZ to MN with 2 kids, 2 cats and a dog in the car. To say my car was gross...is an understatement. The outside was quite nice after the wash (a few minor smudges and bugs on the front-but still great for an automated wash) and the free vacuums at the end were a wonderful treat. I was able to deep clean my car (they provide trash buckets in every vacuum station) and it is dealership clean now :) I will go back and purchase their unlimited basic washes for the winter so I can rinse the salt and grime off weekly during the winter. My neighbor told me what a great place Eddies Auto Wash is and that I should give it a try. The express package provides a personal, good amount of soap, the bristles really hug the car for a good cleaning and the dryer vents are super strong! I gave it a couple of tries and agreed so I bought. Once I purchased the first time through the attendant only sprayed the front of my car and didn't do a full presoak which was disappointing and there was only one attendant to wipe down the car which I understood. I called the office and asked the manager does the express was come with the presoak and he told me it did. I explained that I just went through and I didn't get that provided. He told me to go through again which I didn't have time to do. I told the manager that I really just wanted to let him know that there might be some consistencies and maybe he would want to talk to his attendant - he laughed at me. I went through 2 days later and the attendant didn't even spray my car - he just waved me through. I honked the horn to have the manager come out who was right inside the office. I asked if he was the person I spoke to two days ago and he said yes. His response to not getting the part of the service he said should be included was that each attendant can decide. Needless to say I was disappointed but not surprised! read more
