There is a check in guard shack in the truckers entrance that requires your pick up # and drivers license. This place is 1st come 1st serve to be loaded so be early so there's not a line. The staff is very nice, loading time is about 2 hours for 23 pallets or 46 normal sized hot tubs. 5 docks running today. Shipping hours are from 8:00am to 8pm. I purchase a remanufactured Hot spring hot tub in12/2024 , was told that all panels, electronics, motors are brand new and looked as brand new, 4 months after purchase noticed that of of the side panels which facing the sun start bubbling up to 4 inches, when called the manufacture and the dealer they said the warranty is only for 3 months and cost $750 to replace when I asked what going to happen is new panel going to have same issue was told they don't know so basically I have to spend $750 every few months. they don't admit that its defect. BUYER BEWARE !! This is my 3rd or 4th correspondence with the Watkins Manufacturing that makes HotSprings Spas and other spas. They just kept telling me that my warranty was up so SORRY you're on your own. Below is my explanation to them. Once again it doesn't matter who sold this spa or when it was sold. What does matter is your factory knowingly put out a defective spa to the public and tried to cover it up with foam. The fact that the foam kept the leak from showing up is not the way this spa was designed. The spa should have been deemed broken and or fixed before release to the public at the factory ! Now this is my final word, If you don't want to make this rite I will post that this company does not care enough about their product and here's pictures to prove it. If you make this rite there will be no reason to post anything. I can not find the purchase ticket. The fact is I have your defective spa and can get plenty of testimonies that can state how long I've had it and used it. Including the loss of water almost every time that I went to use it. There wouldn't be a puddle because the foam would absorb it and or the wood structure. So we didn't know it was an actual leek tell we dug into it. Literally. So are you going to make good on this !! Now Because I didn't find this all out during the warranty period they're telling me that it's my problem. I keep pointing out that I did notice water loss continuously but the feed back that I would get from them was that it was merely just evaporating. After years of this I finally jumped into tearing into the spa and found a broken coupling that they tried to cover up with their foam insulation. It's a blown in foam that expands and covered up the broken coupling. This is something that their employee not only knew about but tried to cover up and sold as a perfectly good spa , nothing wrong. The hot springs hot tub has been nothing but trouble. In four years the moto jets were replaced three times, the salt system serviced four times and now the tub is leaking and the dealer is telling us that the tub is fine. Watkins may give a good warranty but that is because their hot tubs are junk. They refuse to extend the warranty on the tub even after all the problems we have had. The repair technician actually hung up on me after trying to convince me that the leak was from getting in and out of the pool when the water level was well to the half way point. For close to 17,000 we feel the value is horrible and the customer service, although mostly responsive, is not what it should be for the cost of the tub. Find a tub with a better track record. How sad, my husband needs this tub for medical purposes but that does not matter to Watkins. Junk all the way around. read more

This is the absolute most inconsiderate manufacturing business in the United States. They claim to have a product warranty but have a very difficult time honoring the terms of the warranty. The products they produce, mostly in Mexico have a very high probability to leak. And not just in the equipment compartment, but somewhere inside the insulated cabinet where a hundred of defective glue fittings have a leak, which can not be identified or fixed without tearing the entire spa apart and finding the leak then putting it back together. Watkins Cool Zone I have does not work. My hot springs dealer and Watkins Mfg. told me that it does not work in hot weather to well. Sure, it gets hot in southern Nevada but that's why I bought it. I just want it to go down to 97 degrees and it NEVER happens, no matter where I have the thermostat set on. I already used ice blocks to cool it down. Supposedly, the unit should bring it down to 80. The condenser works and chugs for a little while then shuts off. The fan is on for no reason accomplishing nothing. Service is terrible, Cool Zone does not work right, and about all I can do is write a truthful review so consumers will be aware. read more

Our dealer has serviced it as per Watkins recommendations with multiple part replacements, etc. and nothing has corrected whatever the issue is. Probably a defect in the manufacturing. We purchased a Freeflow tub less than two years ago. Water started gushing out of the diverter valve a few months ago due to a manufacturing defect. Called for help and tried everything they said with no success. They said to dig out the foam and push up on the pipe to get more threads showing. Did this, it would not push up. I believe the silicone they had under the cap had been holding it on up to this point and after having it drained over summer the sun must of melted the glue. It's a nightmare to change out due to no side panel access. Tried a Dremel to trim some of the extra plastic under the cap so it would reach more threads, no luck. Tried re-gluing, blew off again after two days. Always nice enough on the phone but I feel like they should of stood behind the product since I'm sure it had deficient threads exposed from the start. Have not heard anything back from the company after last message. Finally tonight we had some success with a band-aid fix. Installed a Cherne 269913 test plug. It fit perfect. We will see how long it holds. Won't allow us to change the jets but happy to have more than a expensive water tank in our backyard! For what it's worth my co-worker bought a Marquis spa about the same time and the cover was cracking, the company just provided a new cover even post warranty. Pretty good. read more

Don't buy an endless pool. We spent $50k on one two years ago and it's been out of commission for 4 months. Their approved repair people don't know how to fix it and argue with them on the phone about what could be wrong. They wait weeks between each attempt. Meanwhile everything is out of warranty after a very short period (although we may have to pursue the implied warranty laws if this isn't addressed soon). We have a giant piece of junk in our backyard and have made zero progress. Don't try calling them either since they will redirect you to the vendor who sold it. read more

Well, my 8-person Hot Springs Gleam which I have meticulously maintained was just craned out of my backyard after 4 years. Seems like the leak I discovered can't be fixed without the tub being shipped back to Watkins. Multiple attempts to fix onsite failed, resulting in much of the wooden frame being soaked and damaged. Some of it was cut away in a repair attempt, which will necessitate a frame repair as well. My family has now missed significant hot tub "season" in Las Vegas (which isn't that long). No word on when it may return. I fear that the transport may cause other problems that might not have arisen if the tub could have been fixed on site. Being craned out, driven to California, worked on, driven back to Nevada, craned again, etc...just can't be good on the system. My current rating reflects my angst with this situation. I'll update this rating when the tub returns and I assess the repair and how Watkins handles it as well as how Watkins intends to protect against any possible future issues that might be attributable to this extreme repair since my warranty is fast expiring. I purchased a Geneva Caldera 3-15-17 from the Hot Tub Store in Vacaville Ca. The side panels on the spa are loose and was advised by the Hot Tub Store Technician that Velcro is used to keep panels in place. I asked him why is Velcro used? He replied, "I didn't know"? Tech removed several Velcro and showed me them. They were dried out and didn't stick. I don't understand why you the manufacturer are assembling $12,000 spas being held together by Velcro??? I would not recommend Watkins spas. Our experience is that the spas themselves are beautiful and function well but they are of low build quality which ultimately results in stuff breaking. Worse, our experience has been that Watkins does not don't stand behind their product or do right by their customers when the situation clearly calls for it. We own a 2007 Olympia spa by Watkins Manufacturing. It is professionally maintained as needed by the local dealer at our vacation home. It only gets a 2-3 weeks of use per year. There has been a myriad of issues over the years, the most serious being an intermittent external water leak. After multiple $150 trips to diagnose, they finally found it--the fountain spillway developed a crack inside the cabinet. We just had them block it off. And with each service visit, the pseudo-wood cabinet side panels look like they're falling off becuause once a tech takes out the stainless screws, they can never get them back in (they stick out 1/2 way now) because the brass threads holding them in the wood spa frame are not set in straight so they pull out of the soft 2x4 frame. We've overlooked all of that. We love the spa--when it's working. This summer the topside control panel failed. The set and temp buttons stopped working. No big deal--a $100 part with a single plug. Unfortunately, Watkins no longer have the part available, so they want you to buy their new version of the topside control panel (looks exactly the same)--plus a completely new spa controller (the brain of the spa). Over $600 in parts plus install makes it a $1000 repair! What tops it all: The reason the topside control panel failed is the fifty-cent rubber membrane that makes it waterproof failed. It had a slit where the rubber membrane is thin in it molding, and got a little thinner each time you pushed a button and it rubbed against the plastic. This was after only a duty cycle of less than 6 months of use. The rubber buttons are flexible and in great shape--no weather damage of any kind because its covered. The "new" $1000 repair part they call for looks the same with the same rubber membrane. I guess the difference is you can buy the part if it fails. At least for now. This situation just doesn't pass the sniff test. We called Watkins customer service, explained the situation, and asked if there was anything they could do for us. After all, they had chosen to discontinue the sale of a critical part, used for many years across their product line (through 2012) that obviously fails--a lot. Is it good business to expect your customer to have to pay 10X the amount the repair should cost? If you knew this is how Watkin's operates, you'd probably think twice about buying one of their products. Now you know. Caveat Emptor. read more

Customer service and support is not Watkins' (i.e. Hotsprings Spa) strong suit. The product I have is an excellent product, the Grandee and I have my own repairman (former Watkins employee, now an entrepreneur). Any contact that I have attempted with Watkins has been unfruitful and, on one occasion, resulted in an argument because the individual refused to LISTEN to the description of what I wanted!! In the regard to service, I think I would rank the Watkins support below that of the infamous "Used Car Dealer". As indicated by another "post' here on Yelp, some of their dealers appear to fit this description. Thank God I have Dave to do the maintenance -- I had him install a new heater, ozonator, and fix a leak on the drain tube. Vanessa told me they only last 18/24 months! When you pay practically double for Salt H20 ~ it is very expensive. I also have been diagnosed with PSEUDOMONAS AERUGINOSA ~ AKA "Hot Tub Folliculitis". There is black Algae growing in it also. Vanessa expected me to believe this is the black film the diamond dust is impregnated in, inside the salt probe. Horse Feathers. It comes out in large chunks every other day from the probe & now is oozing out of the heater inlet! EXTREMELY BAD! They do NOT tell you when you buy one about the crappy salt probe!!! read more

BEWARE! Bought a Cadera Geneva Spa December 2016 in the tune of over $13,000. Last May of 2000, I discovered the spa not working. Called local dealer to repair under warranty. They confirmed the spa was still under warranty and referred me to Caldera Watkins Manufacturing Warranty Department. To make a very very long story short, I had called and emailed many times over a two month span to only be promised a call back to arrange repairs. Never would get those returned promised calls. I called local dealer to fix and would pay out-of-pocket just to get it done. Replaced heater and pump at a cost of $769.76. The local dealer called Watkins to see if they will warranty the repairs and they said they would and I would not have to pay out-of-pocket. Once repairs were made, I was presented with COD bill because local dealer could not get confirmation from company to pay for repairs under warranty. ( Basically had same non response as I experienced.) Now, December 2000, I still have not been reimbursed. I have called and emailed company as well as the local dealer calling company assisting me to get a response from Watkins to no avail. THIS COMPANY WILL NOT STAND BEHIND IT'S WARRANTIES! MY ADVISE IS TO STAY AWAY FROM ALL PRODUCTS FROM WATKINS: CADERA, HOT SPRINGS, FREEFLOW, JETSETTER, COSTCO SPAS. Just look at the other reviews... The endless pool spa does not work, the manufacturer stated that their system is not meant to swim in and the fact the current only goes to the right when no one is in the spa or when someone is swimming in it is a flaw that is know. The individuals have been spoken to about the issues with the unit and watkins states it is just the way it works, it is less than 30 days old. I would recommend you look at a different company when you plan to spend 30K. Simply put - pump lasted only 3 years. Water has been tested at the Hot Tub Supplier regularly (so it's NOT a water problem) but Watkins says, "It's past the one year warranty, sorry". I would have been happy with a discount on a new pump (which by the way, is one of the most expensive on the market) - but apparently they are focused on the ONE-TIME buyer, because I will be looking at a different manufacturer next time. And of course, will tell all my friends, colleagues, facebook members, linkedin members, etc. If you buy a Watkins made tub, be prepared to spend an extra $600. every 3 years over and above regular maintenance. Poor customer service from Watkins manufacturing. Purchased an sx model from my local hot tub dealer with a standard 2 year warranty. Only had 1 minor repair an air check valve in its 1st 2 years Of owning. Now as unit is approaching 3 yr old I have had to replace the jet pump to the tune of $800. Now I have been told by the technician that a relay may have caused the initial problem. Relay can't be replaced because it's soldered onto to mother board. New Motherboard is approximately $400 from what I have been told. While I'm not expecting them dealer- manufacturers to cover the entire cost. They could have made some effort to please me. I own a Watkin's Hot Springs Jetsetter. This is my second one. It is by far one of the best products in terms of quality and contruction, I have ever owned. The challenge has always been retail sales and service. Since the Mission Gorge store has closed (thank goodness), Jason on Clairemont Mesa Blvd opened a retail establishment. What a difference! Recently my spa developed a bottom water leak. Jason sent a repairmen out and it was determined that it was a repair that required factory intervention. A loaner spa was provided during its absence. When my spa was returned I was thrilled that the factory not only repaired the leak, but completely detailed the entire spa; including cleaning and polishing the shell, repainting the base skirt, replacing panels, refoamed and sealed the base, and provided brand new filters. Bill and the set up delivery crew were very courteous and friendly and did a great job as well. Ahh, tonight is my first night with my gorgeous "Hot Springs" spa back in my yard for my nightly soak! Bought a Geneva spa this past year and installed in December 2020. Had many issues for such an expensive spa. Dings/scratches in the fiberglass shell and panels on outside would not stay closed. We also had some issues with the chemicals and working with their Conciege service we worked most of them out, but ran into a Marianne in customer service who works for Watkins Manufacturing. The concierge service said to contact her as they said the salt module was bad. They said customer service would send another out as this doesn't happen often but does happen. Marianne asked for readings and a picture of the module and I sent both in. Then she asked for phosphate readings and I had to get one to test it. I did and the readings came back acceptable and then nothing from her. Waited weeks and I sent an email to remind her of what or when she would be sending the module and her response was to now take water samples of my house and the spa to Leslie pool and get a printout. Also take another picture of module before she can do anything. When I brought this to the Concierge attention they wondered why they are making me jump through hoops just to get a replacement module. I don't go in any stores yet and am not going to Leslie pool to have my water analyzed as I have what is needed to check all the chemicals including phosphate. Since changing the module I have not had any issues and to me sending out a replacement module is a small expense to getting a bad review. Would not recommend this company to anyone buying a spa as this a petty way of addressing a simple issue. It is really ridiculous especially during this current pandemic. read more

My Hot Spot Spa, by HotSpring was installed on December 22, 2014. By 2017 three lights went out which remain that way because with your inaccessible wiring harness system, they are too complicated to replace. Then, last winter the main Jet Pump One went out and became an emergency since it controls the temperature as well as the first and second phase jets. Less than six months later, the control panel died which was also replaced. Three months later, the second Jet Pump Two has called it quits. (Each pump is roughly $700.00.) Perhaps if I had a wife and four kids who used and abused the spa on a regular basis, I'd accept that the pumps were possibly overworked over time. However, I am the sole user of the spa which gets used one or two days a week for a period of possibly three months out of the year. As a result, I tip my hat to Watkins Wellness for accomplishing such a remarkable, and possibly unprecedented, planned and timed obsolescence. Should you be thinking of purchasing one of their spas or hot tubs, I encourage you to think again. read more

I own a Watkins Manufacturing Vista Hot Springs Spa, bought in 2008. It has had up to 4 failures since that time. The current leak has not been fixed for over 3 months with various technicians assigned but unable to fix the problem. We are getting the run around from Watkins, they now decided to imply that they cannot get proper access to the Hot Tub even though we have told them several times that we can give full access to every component on the Hot Tub. It is disappointing to buy a high end Hot Tub from a what we thought was a quality manufacturer only to find that we bough a lemon and now the company will not stand by their product. I would not recommend buying a Hot Springs Spa made by Watkins Manufacturing. There has to be better quality manufacturers of Hot Tubs that will stand by their products. I'm a owner of a Caldera Kaui Spa. I had a problem with the heating element of my spa and and thought it had to be replaced, I called, and was recommended to Pool Xpressions out Flower Mound, TX . They sent over a service representative whom diagnosised the problem. They had to order a new circuit board. In about a week they had the part and came out to installed it. Yes, it's a bit expensive, but this has been the only problem in eight years. I'm satisfied with my Caldera Kaui Spa and the service. read more
