I spoke with Brandon and he pretty much explained to me that when rodents gets access to your internals, that issue will most likely be more specially chewed wires and such. So we opted to purchase a new hot tub and Brandon much gave us a quick course on spa 101. After it's delivery and an electrician wiring the new tub, we ran into an issue with the new tub. I spoke to Brandon and he explained that if the issue is wiring, they would have to charge us but if the issue is the tub, it would be covered by the warranty. About a week later, Silus arrive to our house to figure out the problem. He was professional and elaborate with us the procedure. Upon further inspection, he determined that one of the parts of the new tub was defective and it would be covered my warranty. Good to hear. I highly recommend these guys. We do have local spa stores near by but they have been very professional including giving advice on the DYI. Good Dudes!

We just had Jimi with So Cal Custom Pools and Spa re-do our old plaster pool. I had 5 different…read moreestimates from 5 separate contractors. Some were large corporations and some smaller operations. Most estimates came in very close in price. To me price was not the number one factor, after reading reviews and talking to people in the industry, we chose to go with So Cal Custom Pools. I was very impressed with Jimi and how everything from start to finish was handled. Little things to me are important, like show up when you say you will, complete a job to the best of your ability. Jimi showed up every time when he said he would, the pool was completed on time and looks amazing. I would always know when someone was coming to the house, I received either a call of text prior to someone showing up. We started with demo, the demo crew removed all the old plaster, tile and cooping, when the crew was completed the yard was swept and cleaned after. Everything looked clean and the crew took pride in the work. Next we had the tile and coping installed. I did have 2 small change orders. I changed the water feature and had the tile guys do a little more work than was originally expected. This was the only increase to the pricing and everything else came out exactly as expected. Once the tile and coping were installed the pebble was installed. The crew showed up and completed this in the morning. As soon as the plaster was completed we started to fill the pool immediately. The pool looks great and I was very impressed with So Cal Custom Pools from start to finish. I would use them in the future. Thanks Jimi, the pool looks great.

They just kept telling me that my warranty was up so SORRY you're on your own. Below is my explanation to them. Once again it doesn't matter who sold this spa or when it was sold. What does matter is your factory knowingly put out a defective spa to the public and tried to cover it up with foam. The fact that the foam kept the leak from showing up is not the way this spa was designed. The spa should have been deemed broken and or fixed before release to the public at the factory ! Now this is my final word, If you don't want to make this rite I will post that this company does not care enough about their product and here's pictures to prove it. If you make this rite there will be no reason to post anything. I can not find the purchase ticket. The fact is I have your defective spa and can get plenty of testimonies that can state how long I've had it and used it. Including the loss of water almost every time that I went to use it. There wouldn't be a puddle because the foam would absorb it and or the wood structure. So we didn't know it was an actual leek tell we dug into it. Literally. So are you going to make good on this !! Now Because I didn't find this all out during the warranty period they're telling me that it's my problem. I keep pointing out that I did notice water loss continuously but the feed back that I would get from them was that it was merely just evaporating. After years of this I finally jumped into tearing into the spa and found a broken coupling that they tried to cover up with their foam insulation. It's a blown in foam that expands and covered up the broken coupling. This is something that their employee not only knew about but tried to cover up and sold as a perfectly good spa , nothing wrong. Roger came out several times and was super friendly and receptive to our vision. BP initially seemed great until it came time to build the pool! We received our first mock up which we really liked, and were ready to make a couple small changes and move forward, only to never hear from them again. We tried several times to reach out via text as well as set up phone calls but Ben's response was always an apology days or more later, with excuses including "the last week was complicated for me," and even worse, just no response at all. Unfortunately, for us, we are out money, time, and doesn't look like we will have a pool this summer!

It only came to light when I reviewed my service report and noticed they were adding liquid chlorine and questioned why. The company wouldn't return calls so I called them. Joe the General Manager took ZERO responsibility and only blamed the technician, who Joe said was not very good and didn't know his job well. Additionally when I questioned the company on previous occasions as to why my spa was not being cleaned, they said it wasn't part of the contract. I've owned that pool for 12 years and EVERY pool company has always cleaned the spa when they cleaned the pool. Plus I never had a contract with company. Update: The owner of the company personally called me on this and took full ownership of the issue and apologized. The owner is a good guy and does care about his customers and the company. I am still not willing to go back to this company, but at least someone in a leadership position took ownership of the issue and apologized.

This made my wife uncomfortable due to the risk of germs and, in my opinion, the creepiness of a stranger touching our baby. We did continue with the company because we didn't feel like starting the search over and assumed that once construction began, we wouldn't be dealing with Richard. I explained exactly what we wanted and even showed him a photo (and explained the size and purpose). The company pulled permits and later sent us a rendering that wasn't what we wanted. I scheduled a follow up meeting to discuss the issue. Richard said he could "squeeze us in" between other appointments. Before he arrived, my wife and I went into the yard to discuss the project. We realized they simply weren't understanding our vision, and it didn't seem worth the time to keep trying to explain it. I was about to text Richard when he pulled up. I went outside to let him know we would not be proceeding with the pool. His response: "Why the f**k didn't you tell me before I got here?" In my opinion, he then stormed off like a child. I reached out to his boss to let him know that such behavior was incredibly unprofessional, and the language was unacceptable. I explained that I am also a business owner and that employees are not just a reflection of the company, but the owner. Instead of acknowledging or addressing the issue, he told me Richard lives in Palm Desert--as if he had made the drive specifically for us and that somehow it would justify his behavior. The owner called me today (a week later), briefly acknowledging Richard's behavior before saying he wants to bill me for permit costs and time. I already paid a non-refundable $1,000 deposit. He told me, "I don't have to let you out of the contract," and said he has legal recourse and could place a lien on my home. He also let me know he would respond to any review I left. At the end of the day, Majestic Pools was hired to provide a service they failed to deliver to our expectations. They also employ a salesman who acts in a creepy and foul-mouthed manner. Even if we had been difficult customers who required more time than expected or had left them high and dry, that still wouldn't excuse bad, unprofessional behavior and now legal threats.
